This was by far my worst customer service experience ever. I have never been so disrespected by a…read moremanager. This place is solely for professional painters or contractors. You must already know exactly what you want. I wish I never set foot in this place. Every single person I spoke to was snide and disrespectful. If they even acknowledged me at all. Each time I went in I had a terrible experience. All the way up to the manager ranting and waving his hands at me. So much so that other employees came out to see. What an example right? They do not go in to detail to answer any questions and refuse to give any advice at all. I've gotten more help at Home Depot. I only decided to venture out to Dunn Edwards due to a recommendation. And I wish I hadn't. They can't pull up the paint codes to color match or anything. The man strictly does product. Any questions I asked had a long winded reason why he wasn't able to help in that area. But was mad when I said I felt like he didn't want to help. All while I was blamed for my experience, even though I would think it's their job to do these things. Do not come here if you're a young person looking for help or maybe if you don't look like their usual customer.

Less than impressed with this SW store. We've been buying SW paint for several years and always…read morehad a good experience with one of their other stores. However, went to the Beach/Warner location a couple times recently and really don't want to go back. The employees were polite enough, answered the phone and handled my order. However, they offered very little help when trying to figure out which of the different levels of base paint I wanted to buy. The employee told me which one I should get, but I wanted to know about the different options so I could make an educated decision since we were going to paint our entire interior using the same base paint. My paint color was discontinued so they pulled it up from the old list and agreed to make it for me, which I appreciated. However, it was REALLY REALLY off! WAY off! I understood that I still needed to pay the $60 for the gallon that I was going to discard and didn't raise any issue with that, but not a peep from the employees asking about the color problem. When I tried to get a smaller size of another paint (so I didn't end up with another unused $60 gallon), I was told about 3 times that there's a paint shortage so they don't do sample sizes anymore. Okay....so I need to buy a gallon again to try a color? No - they could do a quart. Whatever-that's fine. When I asked for a certain sheen, was told b/c of paint shortage I couldn't pick my sheen and that it would depend on what they had in stock. Okay...so what sheen do you have in stock? Well, it depends on the paint you pick. Seriously!?! I told you the paint color and sheen I wanted. Can you do it or not? In the end they could do it and quoted me a price. When I showed up I was billed more. Not a big deal - I noticed, mentioned it and they refunded the difference. Just annoying and for whatever reason, this store feels difficult. We are now going to Home Depot where it's incredibly easy (and cheaper) to get paint and straight forward answers and finding a color they offer.

Although they do sell to the general public, every time I have came there are only painters by trade. Don't be deterred! PROS: - They sell sand paper no one else has; special sizes, shapes, grit, etc. It's the Bubba Gump of sandpaper! - The kiel's is $4 a can here & $6 at Home Depot - They sell white Dickies for painters! - Amid the global shortage on ALL GOODS...they have inventory on paper rolls, tape, etc. If you are near by and planning a painting job, I highly recommend stopping in.

Started my mission at the HB location, where JB assisted me in deciding on color scheme, paint sheen, painting advice and ideas. Once we landed on what I thought was the ideal color, once the paint hit the wall, the color was a bit light. Brought paint back and JB was able to add additional color to darken paint.
