This is one of the nicer Dunn Edwards paint stores, since it is quite new. It used to be a Wells Fargo bank. We painted the inside and outside of our house, and they were very generous in supplying free samples. You just have to show them the free coupon on your phone, which you can reuse. Jordanah the Color Advisor is very nice and helpful. When I told her I wanted to paint our front door red, she found a Dunn Edwards brochure that was strictly on red colors. We ended up picking one of the colors from that brochure, and we get lots of complements on the door. Thank you to all the staff at this store. We get many complements on our color choices. Although our painter helped with suggestions, the staff here made the experience even better. read more

Service was very slow, I need to get professional help on type of paint, so many different kind of paints, couldn't get a clear answer immediately. But we got it done with the equipment they had and it looks great. Please make sure to ask for the can paint opener. Price is reasonable, no complaints read more

Super customer service! I couldn't find the name of a color I like and no longer had contact with contractor, but not a problem because they were happy to help and track my order back from 2018. This paint company is hands down the best. Especially the velvet finish. Long lasting and beautiful. Love turning to Dunn-Edwards Painting for all my home projects. Pricing is great too. read more

We had wonderful treatment from the staff at Seal Beach Dunn-Edwards. The professional color advisor Jordannah was extremely helpful and patient with me as I kept trying different combinations for our house exterior. I finally brought in a photo of some colors that I'd seen online, and she helped me find equivalent colors. She even pulled my house up on her computer and showed how the colors would look. Over the course of a month, I tried about 10 paint sample cans, and Jordannah and Lauren and other staff members were always prompt and courteous in filling my orders. Then when I finally purchased 20 gallons of paint, Jordannah and Lauren were right there helping me to load the car. read more

Have always received good service here and their color matching ability/techniques seem to be better than HD and competitors. They always get the match spot on where I can't tell the difference. Prices are reasonable and there's never long lines. read more

Jordanah Marcelo was extremely helpful and sent renderings of our house with the colors I chose days earlier than expected. This was so helpful to see my house painted with the colors I chose. Now I've narrowed it down to a few colors vs. a dozen. Everyone should pay the a visit for this free service alone. read more

Still one of the best paint stops around. Way better than Home Depot. Overall I feel that the quality of paint is better hear, the service is good and employees do pay attention to customers. Only downside are the hours throughout the week and that they are closed on Sunday's. read more

Great experience and definitely recommend. Jordanah and Emilio helped me. They were both extremely helpful as I asked questions and they gave recommendations, too. They assisted me right when I walked in the door and I never felt pressured. When I asked a question about which product to get, they were honest in their response and I didn't feel as though they were pushing me to get the most expensive paint they sell (which is refreshing, to say the least!) read more

This review is for the customer service I received from Dunn-Edwards workers today. First of all I am NOT even a customer. I was calling to see if they recycle old paint that people don't use anymore. I called and spoke with Betty, who was super helpful and professional. She explained to me that they recycle paint and there is no appointment time needed to drop it off. As long as it is dropped off during their business hours. I told her I would still give a courtesy call before dropping off the old paint because it's the right thing to do. So called, gave them a courtesy call and said I would be there in 10-15 minutes. When I got there, I believed I was greeted by the supervisor. I said "Good Morning" and in return she also said "Good Morning, are you here to recycle paint?" I said "Yes mam". She said I'll take it from you. So she took the first trip of paint I dropped off so I could go back to my car to get the rest. I thanked her and her staff and told them to be safe (though the whole corona virus thing we are all dealing with). I was so impressed by their customer service and I wasn't even a paying customer. They definitely have my business going forward. So when it's time to paint, I will definitely be coming back their way for help. Thank you Betty and supervisor who helped me this morning. You are truly a model of professionalism and Great Customer Service!!!!! read more

The Dunn-Edwards Paints location in Seal Beach has been so helpful as we've been moving through the process of remodeling our rental house. In particular, Jordanah Marcelo, the store's Color Specialist, has gone above and beyond in answering every question we have had. After reviewing so many options with me, Jordanah helped us to come to our final decision on the exterior paint for the property. We have had that work done and we're thrilled with how it came out! Jordanah was right on point! Next on our list was selecting our interior colors...again, Jordanah was so kind in helping me to sift through the many options, and just this week we made our final decision on the interior paint for the property. She helped me to understand how our selection for the interior paint was important as it needed to create a nice flow from the exterior of the property that potential renters will see as they first enter the house. I highly recommend this Dunn-Edwards store and their very knowledgeable and kind staff! read more

Hello, Last month in July, I took my Mom into the paint store in Seal Beach. We were their to look at colors and decide what Mom may want to do with the exterior of her home. We met the color Specialist Jordanah then. She was beyond awesome and helpful. Very Patient with my Mom who was very indecisive. After about an hour she had helped us immensely. The same day we sent photos to Jordanah and she styled the photos to show us what the home would like in several different options/color. Her attitude , her radiant smile and helpfulness were incredible.. I highly recommend her and the store, next up she will be helping me with my colors and design.. Thank's Jordanah you ROCK and are great at what you do!!! Jeff read more

We needed to get the exterior of our house painted and became overwhelmed with choices. We walked into our local Dunn Edwards store and Jordanah, their Professional Color Advisor, asked us some questions and then pulled out samples. After picking out a few and sending her a picture of our house, she magically "painted " our house, giving us an idea how the colors went together. Jordanah was extremely helpful as was the gentleman getting us the paint. We will definitely come back. read more

Nope. I'll never go here again. I walked in and no customers where there. I was approached by a very nice looking gentleman, asked if he could help me. I asked a simple question he didn't know the answer to and said he would look it up for me. Just then a salesman from another paint store came in and he immediately walked away from me and started talking to him. They shook hands and he walked away. So the girl working there asked if she could help me. I asked the same question and she didn't know the answer. I asked if they carried joint compound there for wall texturing. She had no idea what it even was. I understand it's a paint store but they should have some knowledge of things that go along with painting. I said thanks and left. As I was walking out I noticed bags of other things besides paint like patching material tools and joint compound. I wondered why would they sell other things related to painting if they aren't going to teach their employees what they are. Even though I saw it there, I still left. I was angry that the salesman walked away from me in the middle of helping me. Forget it. Home Depot it is. read more
