This is one of the nicer Dunn Edwards paint stores, since it is quite new. It used to be a Wells Fargo bank. We painted the inside and outside of our house, and they were very generous in supplying free samples. You just have to show them the free coupon on your phone, which you can reuse. Jordanah the Color Advisor is very nice and helpful. When I told her I wanted to paint our front door red, she found a Dunn Edwards brochure that was strictly on red colors. We ended up picking one of the colors from that brochure, and we get lots of complements on the door. Thank you to all the staff at this store. We get many complements on our color choices. Although our painter helped with suggestions, the staff here made the experience even better. read more

We had wonderful treatment from the staff at Seal Beach Dunn-Edwards. The professional color advisor Jordannah was extremely helpful and patient with me as I kept trying different combinations for our house exterior. I finally brought in a photo of some colors that I'd seen online, and she helped me find equivalent colors. She even pulled my house up on her computer and showed how the colors would look. Over the course of a month, I tried about 10 paint sample cans, and Jordannah and Lauren and other staff members were always prompt and courteous in filling my orders. Then when I finally purchased 20 gallons of paint, Jordannah and Lauren were right there helping me to load the car. read more

This review is for the customer service I received from Dunn-Edwards workers today. First of all I am NOT even a customer. I was calling to see if they recycle old paint that people don't use anymore. I called and spoke with Betty, who was super helpful and professional. She explained to me that they recycle paint and there is no appointment time needed to drop it off. As long as it is dropped off during their business hours. I told her I would still give a courtesy call before dropping off the old paint because it's the right thing to do. So called, gave them a courtesy call and said I would be there in 10-15 minutes. When I got there, I believed I was greeted by the supervisor. I said "Good Morning" and in return she also said "Good Morning, are you here to recycle paint?" I said "Yes mam". She said I'll take it from you. So she took the first trip of paint I dropped off so I could go back to my car to get the rest. I thanked her and her staff and told them to be safe (though the whole corona virus thing we are all dealing with). I was so impressed by their customer service and I wasn't even a paying customer. They definitely have my business going forward. So when it's time to paint, I will definitely be coming back their way for help. Thank you Betty and supervisor who helped me this morning. Hello, Last month in July, I took my Mom into the paint store in Seal Beach. We were their to look at colors and decide what Mom may want to do with the exterior of her home. We met the color Specialist Jordanah then. She was beyond awesome and helpful. Very Patient with my Mom who was very indecisive. After about an hour she had helped us immensely. The same day we sent photos to Jordanah and she styled the photos to show us what the home would like in several different options/color. We walked into our local Dunn Edwards store and Jordanah, their Professional Color Advisor, asked us some questions and then pulled out samples. Nope. I'll never go here again. I walked in and no customers where there. I was approached by a very nice looking gentleman, asked if he could help me. I asked a simple question he didn't know the answer to and said he would look it up for me. Just then a salesman from another paint store came in and he immediately walked away from me and started talking to him. They shook hands and he walked away. So the girl working there asked if she could help me. I asked the same question and she didn't know the answer. I asked if they carried joint compound there for wall texturing. She had no idea what it even was. I understand it's a paint store but they should have some knowledge of things that go along with painting. I said thanks and left. As I was walking out I noticed bags of other things besides paint like patching material tools and joint compound. I wondered why would they sell other things related to painting if they aren't going to teach their employees what they are. Even though I saw it there, I still left. I was angry that the salesman walked away from me in the middle of helping me. Forget it. Home Depot it is. read more
