I took my anger out on Randy and want to Apologize. Randy been helping me 20 plus Years him and Cory. Randy has more knowledge then all employees put together goes out his way to serve you and save you money. Randy old school and a straight Shooter. I called Randy a prick reckon I was the prick I should had gone to Randy to start with face to face. I want to apologize to Randy Wife you have a number one Husband. If and customers need appliances go to Randy he will help you with Pride. A Asset to the Company. I moved to Long Beach a few years ago. I had some blinds and doors that needed to be replaced. Pricing was reasonable therefore I decided to buy from Lowes. I will make this short and simple. Stay away from ordering here. Blinds took over 4 months, and doors came incorrect and tried to blame us for ordering it incorrectly. After complaining they approved to have the door changed. It took them almost 6 months to get the right door. All you get is regret and frustration! We then proceeded to complain, and to add insult we got $1 gift card as an apology to our experience. Was in the garden area looking for soil, there were three-four employees back there and i was the only customer. Not one of them spoke a word to me. I was back there for 10 minutes. I was carrying bags of soil from one end of the warehouse to the other had to walk past them and not one said a word to me. Did not acknowledge me at all. Buyer beware if you are purchasing an appliance from Lowe's. They sold us a lemon of Kitchen Aid refridgerator. Within two months we have had multiple issues. Lowe's just kicks you over to Kitchen Aid, who has a minimum two week waiting period to get a repair. then half the time the repair company sends someone out that doesn't know what they are doing. We have lost two refrigerators and a freezers full of food which are not covered under the warranty. read more

My wife has been using Lowe's a lot recently to buy supplies for our Kitchen remodel. This time, she decided to use the curbside feature to preorder her supplies and have it delivered as one package right to our car for no extra charge. It works well, as long as you are prepared. If you order from Lowe's online, you can get 1% back from Rakuten. It's not much, but it adds up, so we try to be diligent about it. Once ordered, you receive an email and text confirming. Once the order is ready to be picked up, you are given another email and text with a link and/or barcode. This barcode can be used to pick up the product inside, but this time, we wanted to try curbside. There are two dedicated numbered parking spots. I thought i could initiate the delivery by using the barcode on the email, but realized every avenue requires authentication (i.e. a login). Thus spent a little time, transferring my account to my phone and downloading the app. Once that was done, the rest was a cinch: the app after login knew I needed to pick up, and let me enter the parking spot and submit. Within 5 minutes, someone came out, scanned the barcode and delivered the product in any unmarked bag accurately. That was it...a very efficient way to do pickup. read more

Ordered items online. Got a text saying order declined, then got a text saying order is ready for pickup. I go to pick up items, they tell me the order is here, but you can't pick it up! It's still pending. I ask the Op Manager if the payment is still pending why did I get 2 text to pickup. She proceeds to say " because the order is here for pickup"... Then says when you pick up the item it goes thru. I told her she is making no sense! ... Said I'd have to wait until it clears... Total waste of my time. I went looking for a refrigerator. That had a good selection with numerous brands and models. Some on clearance when I was there an additional 20% off was offered. Staff was knowledgeable and helpful. The down side is that no delivery or hull away is available and you must remove clearance items same day. Getting a high end unit for under $1000 is a good deal but the logistics don't work for me. The store has a very nice garden department and the outdoor furniture is well stocked. General building and hardware needs are easily met. The staff I have encountered are all willing to assist . Parking is easy . Lowes does rent flatbed trucks as well. read more

I asked for help with something and was told by an associate to go to another aisle and they would send someone to help me, I didn't quote hear the name the associated said before they walked away. In the other aisle I saw Chikeda and asked if it was her I was supposed to meet. In her bloated glory Chikeda couldn't be bothered, she just looked at me and walked by me. I was at the paint department earlier, and I've never experienced such poor customer service. Two older employees were standing together, laughing and doodling in a booklet while I stood there waiting to be acknowledged. Another woman walked up, and they immediately dropped what they were doing to help her -- completely ignoring me. When I finally had to ask for help myself, the man with white hair barely paid attention. He was more interested in listening to another conversation than actually assisting me. After my paint was mixed, I went to pick it up, but he was nowhere to be found. When he finally came back, he started chatting with yet another customer right in front of me instead of simply letting me know my paint was ready. I stood there for nearly ten minutes before he finally looked up and said, "Oh, your paint's right there," as if my time didn't matter at all. This was hands down the worst customer service experience I've ever had in the paint department, and it's completely unacceptable. When I called customer service to complain, the man was rude and worse. He wanted my name and number. He then said I'm not a frequent customer and not in a the system so I can't make a complaint. read more

Came here with my husband to pick tile a bathroom for our rental home. There was someone by the name of Lowell (?) who works for SunRun that had a makeshift booth by the tile and carpet area. Right away I heard him with his loud voice talking to people trying to get them to listen to his speech about his product. It was obvious that people didn't want to listen because they all kept walking away while he kept talking. My husband and I were in the tile aisle concentrating and he starts approaching us. Right away my husband told him politely that we're not interested in whatever he has to sell. He kept at us over and over to the point where he started arguing with us and told us he's an employee. I knew he wasn't because Lowe employees wear a red vest and he was wearing a blue one. When he was finally walking away to the back of the store he was laughing at us straight to our faces. This was our first time to this Lowe's and this person didn't make it a good experience. I talked to two employees and they didn't recognize him. One employee said his manager is outside in front of the store so I went and told her and she said she'd talk to him. Whether or not something might be done, I don't know. I visited Lowe's Home Improvement about a week ago and had a great in-store experience with Fermin. He was knowledgeable, helpful, and even gave me his card, letting me know I could place an order through him even if he wasn't scheduled. Unfortunately, everything after that has been extremely frustrating. I've tried emailing and calling, but the automated system was unhelpful, and the staff I spoke with at the store couldn't assist either. It's disappointing because I'm actively trying to make a purchase, but the lack of follow-up and poor customer service has made it difficult. I hope management can improve communication and support--especially for customers who are ready to move forward with an order. read more

We arrived to this Lowe's at 8:30 pm and they were closing 9 pm. We needed a fertilizer, wood chips and etc that they kept outside where all outdoor plants are. The door was locked and we were lil bit surprised while it wasn't 9pm yet. The manager came and opened the door for us. She was very genuine and friendly and saved us a gas and a trip. They were all very friendly and even though they were all very busy with their closing shift they went above and beyond to help us. The value for the products was ok. The store was well signed and we didn't have a hard time to find the price which was the best part. No miss pricing! The outside was a big parking spot then no worries to not find a parking there! read more

first off the 2 salesmen standing in appliances, zero customers except me, were unprofessional, yelling at other employees across the store and ignoring me. I found the microwave I wanted and bought. Used my Discover card and didn't buy extended service plan. It was installed by a very capable man, no problems there. 3 days later I tried microwave popcorn. Didn't pop. I tried 3 bags, Neighbor tried. 4th bag. No problem. Called Lowe's store. 30 minutes on hold. Store Manager was a JERK. Said i was shit out of luck. Nothing they could do. 2 days warranty and this was 5 days. Said I could bring it in myself. I'm in my late 70's. Unable to do that. He wasn't nice about it. They never came back to the line, 35mins of endless ringing. Wanted to talk to a manager because purchased a tool, got home only to find it's been used. One attachment had noticeable damage to it and the handle was dirty. Looks like they don't even check returned items but put it back on the shelf for the next customer to deal with it. Do not shop at this store or if an online product is connected to this store, do not buy it. Every large item purchase has had an issue. I bought a Bosch dishwasher here in store. The assistant Ricky was so willing to help and make a sale, even gave me his phone number. Once the product was delivered and installed the installer said all you have to do is buff out the mark. It wasn't a dirt mark it was a massive scratch. When I called Ricky for help with this issue, he pretty much said too bad. I had to work with the escalation line and create a solution which did eventually resolve. I recently bought a storage toolbox online and the product is scratched. Way too expensive to keep a brand new item that is al marked up. I've tried calling the store 4 times with no success on getting through. Yesterday during one of my calls I decided to drive to the store. There was one staff member at the return desk just standing there and no phone ringing as if someone was calling. They choose to not answer the phone. Today when I was on the phone with the escalation line there was no resolution. Their suggestion was for me take the toolbox to the store for in store return! Let me share that they investigated a FedEx return but the product was too large for their weight requirement. How is your average Joe supposed to return this when a shipping company who actually has the resources for this type of transport say this item is too big? Moral of this story, do not shop at this Lowe's or you will also be a very unhappy customer. read more
