The Eucalyptus tree that I bought.
Leonard O.

Happy with my purchase. Thankyou. Got some Eucalyptus plants. Price was good. Knowledge was good.

LOVE this hidden gem of a nursery ! I have purchased all my outdoor landscaping plants from Ramirez Growers. Every plant here is so healthy, & has the best prices. So don't think about supporting your big box store when plant shopping ! They even take card so no problem if you never carry cash like myself. They do a very nice job of wrapping up the plant & placing plastic liner in the car so there's no mess when you get home. Without a doubt I would recommend this nursery for any outdoor landscaping project. All the plants are super healthy & at a wholesale price. Support small businesses & not big box stores like Home Depot.

Stopped by to find something for Mother's Day and found the cutest little Groot planter pot as well as a beautiful succulent to go with it! My total was only $13 - $3 for the succulent and $10 for the planter. The girl helping me was also nice enough to transfer the succulent over to the Groot planter :) This was my first time at a nursery and I'm obsessed! They had such a beautiful collection of succulents and other desert plants. Will definitely be back!

This is my Ornamental Plum Tree in 2024. It has really grown and filled out.

I continue to buy from Ramon at Ramirez Growers. I have been so happy with the plants I have purchased from him over the years. Ramon is very knowledgeable about all of the plants and trees he sells. Prices are very reasonable.

Have lived in Cerritos a long time and never visited this little hidden gem!! Hubby and I needed some drought resistant plants asap and drove in just half hour before closing. We were immediately greeted by Ramon who took as much time with us as we needed to answer all our questions and pick out the best plants for our yard project. Ramon had great knowledge about any and all the plants we asked about and made our decisions easy! He was very kind and super friendly, and even stayed open for us after closing time until we were completely satisfied and bought everything. We will definitely return here again for any other plants for our home! Thanks again!!

Ive been completely obsessed with these growers due to their prices, health of plants and how knowledgeable they are. My hydrangeas from last summer are growing new blooms and my string of pearls are long and beautiful. Just bought 6 new plants this week.I'm super happy.

I'm a large fan of this place. Mitzy was extremely helpful in helping me decide which plants I wanted for my planter box. They were able to coordinate with me and make sure everything was smooth in making sure my landscaper was able to pick up the next day. Cash will give you the best option but they do take Venmo and credit cards. A great value compared to their competitors! I really liked that all of the flowers and trees were extremely healthy!

Cool, little plant nursery tucked under a gigantic power line... hey, if birds sleep nest there, it must be safe . I'm kidding aside. It's a great nursery, great layout, good parking, great selection, looked super clean, great choices, and wait for it !... prices are great... literally 30% less than your Home Depot or Armstrong nursery prices. The only quirk I had was being able to see the location from the road, but overall, once there, it easily was recognizable. I'm coming back with the truck to get some goodies!

Ramirez Growers has some amazing Japanese Maples! Pricing was incredibly fair and they also had a nice assortment of other plants as well (jasmines, privets, succulents, herbs, grass, lavender, etc). Ramon, the owner, was very nice and reasonable. He delivered our new maples the same day for a fee. We are very happy and we will be returning for sure to finish the rest of our landscaping!

The nursery has so many options and the grower was helpful and knowledgeable. I will definitely be going back for more.

Not long after planting, the tree didn't seem to be developing properly, so I stopped by looking for advice. The experience was disappointing. The employee helping me appeared visibly intoxicated in the middle of the day (someone I believe is connected to ownership, as I had met him during the purchase). He was unhelpful and dismissive, so I left without any real guidance. I continued trying to care for the tree, but within two months it died. When I returned to ask whether there was any warranty, replacement option, or even assistance toward purchasing a new tree, I was met by a rude employee who immediately became defensive, repeatedly emphasizing that they are a "family-owned business" while offering zero accountability or solutions. Instead, I was blamed for the tree dying, despite the fact that I had already come in previously asking for help. For a business that sells and installs expensive trees, I expected at least some level of customer service, support, or professionalism. Instead, I got poor advice, no accountability, and an overall hostile experience. I'll be taking my business elsewhere and would recommend others do the same. Update: After digging up the dead tree, it was obvious why it failed. The root ball was extremely tight and root-bound, likely from sitting too long in the nursery box. It only had two mature roots supporting it, and both had been cut during removal and installation. They also didn't use fresh soil when planting it, which gave it little chance to establish. I went to another family-owned nursery afterward, and the difference was clear--they stood behind their product and offered a one-year warranty.

I was totally intrigued and was looking for an appropriate dish or vase to preserve the fragrant blossoms of my plant in the backyard. I immediately saw the donut looking ceramic vase in assorted colors. After chatting and getting to know more about the plants and Hawaiian articles as well as colorful clothing, I learned that my plumeria is most likely of the sweet fragrant "Gardenia" type. It was suggested that the shiny black donut dish would serve me best. The lovely missus will love the sample 5 petal flower I received with my purchase and I will get the vase filled with my own at home. With so many Art and articles and just Hawaiian fun things/souvenirs, I was shown by Arlene behind the counter, a "Cook Street" Hawaiian print shirt of great value that for sure will fit me. It was a real pleasure to have visited Konishi Plumeria and I know we will return. Hmmm, good to know that Konishi Island Fair is on 28th September.

My boyfriend and I actually initially found it as we were driving through La Mirada, but the name of the store caught my eye and we went in a few months ago, but I'm finally getting around to writing a review for them now! There was a gentleman who was running the store, who I learned was the owner! They had apparently been open in LA for a long time before packing up and moving over to La Mirada! The plants inside (as the name might suggest) were a mixture of trees and small plants. I'm not the best at knowing what plant species are what, but the vibe was very gardeny. What I mean by that is, that the owner of the location seems familiar with the plants, handling them, repotting them, etc. The entire time we were perusing, he was moving plants around, repotting, while also being very attentive and answering our questions. My favorite part of the store is tucked away in the back corner. It's a collection of art and art pieces. The painted plants were actually painted by the store owner's mother! In the end, that's what I ended up buying (I got 3 painted pictures). I don't remember exactly what the price was, but I remember being very pleased with what we got. If you have 5-10 minutes to spare and you're in the area, I recommend checking out Namoo Plant Shop. What you find might actually surprise you!

He took the time to answer all of our questions and made the experience really enjoyable -- thank you, Kai! This place is usually my go-to spot, and I genuinely love the vibe here. That said, on this visit it was harder than usual to find help in the outdoor area. While several team members were available indoors, they were unwilling to answer questions and directed us to find someone outside instead. After some searching, we finally found Kai. I understand that roles can be divided, but this felt different from the level of customer service I've experienced here in the past.
