We came with non-specific plants in mind, and he helped us narrow down what would fit our plans, even right down to which specific plant would be best out of the bunch. It is highly recommended to talk about what you need before walking, as the walk can be quite long! Especially if you go back and forth. They do not accept card, which I find is normal for nurseries. They accept cash / zelle only. Overall, I believe they are a solid option for those unknowledgeable about plants. All my questions and concerns were thoughtfully considered.

I had been on the market for a Birds of Paradise, and since I have an apartment, I knew I needed to get a baby one so that I have the space, and I can just grow it over time. They had birds of paradise of every size, and I was able to see what my little one will grow into :) There were also so many fruit trees, avocado trees, and other plants! I definitely have to come back here the moment I have a place with a yard! I need one of these avocado trees! the guy who helped me was super friendly, and I must admit, the entire thing felt therapeutic. Just walking through the nursery, inhaling all the scents from the plants and trees. It all felt tranquil and calming. I'll definitely be back! And I'm so excited to grow my baby birds of paradise! She grows so much every day!

Friendly staff and great prices. Tons of golden and black bamboo plants in 2 sizes. We got 3 of the…read more15 gallon buckets and the plants are thriving in 35 gallon pots on our patio. They also have a lot of tropical plants and cactus varieties in the outdoor nursery in the back. Only warning is they just have the 2 types of bamboo. So if you are looking for another variety this is not your place.

Nice find though "bamboo" nursery is a bit of a misnomer as they sell only two types of bamboo:…read moreblack and golden. The owner and his wife were very friendly and welcoming but could not tell me anything else about the two types of bamboo, such as their variety, growing habit, etc. Perhaps that was due to a language barrier (and a little soap boxing, but I will take that on me because I feel I really should know Spanish since I live in SoCal). On the other hand the pots were not marked with *any* info. I wasn't expecting a fancy label like one might find at a big box store, but I was hoping to at least see the plant common name and price in grease pencil on the outside of the pot. I was told that the 15 gallon pots were approx $100 each and that the 5 gallon pots were ~$50 each. The specimens were full and appeared in good health and disease free, but that is way too expensive for common bamboo. They had a nice selection of other plants though there seemed to be no organization scheme other than short stuff towards the front and tall stuff towards the back - varietals were grouped together (eg 1" jade plants were all in one spot) but different types of plants were mixed together: Stella d'Oro daylilies with tiger lillies. A bit confusing.
