Customer Service is always awesome! Way better than Home Depot or Lowe's if you are looking for basics.

One of the first places we stopped into when we moved to Long Beach 3 years ago, Anderson Paint &…read moreHardware is an independent do-it-yourself hardware store that has all the essentials needed for continued home ownership. It is especially good to find that 2nd piece of hardware that you need when you are putting something together or fixing something that is mechanical. They have a large dedicated parking lot attached, and is always staffed with friendly, knowledgeable folks that always seem busy doing something, but will drop it to help you. We've made use of many of their services, and their prices are very reasonable since not buying in bulk. -- they fix screen doors and windows. -- duplicate keys. In fact, that's what we came in for, this time. For a total of 6 new keys, cost us around $13 with tax. -- we don't buy paint here, but useful to pick up that extra tube of caulk that we didn't intend on. -- great at finding hardware for things like picture hooks, odd washer, nuts and bolts of different sizes. They seem to be doing very well, even though they are not associated with either of the big hardware chains (Ace or True Value), and have a loyal clientele. Where we live, everyone goes to Anderson's for their fix-it-up needs.

I love supporting family-owned businesses, and the staff was quick and professional. I have made a note to visit the next time I'm in the area as I have a few home projects to tackle, and the staff appear to be knowledgeable and experienced.

I cannot count the amount of times that I have walked past this store without taking a look inside. It's not inviting from the exterior, but thought I'd take a look inside today. I was planning to take a quick walk through the store, but kept stopping to look at the variety of merchandise. They sell the usual hardware, such as cabinet handles and paint buckets. The mini Ace paint buckets for $1.99 are seriously cute. They also sell toys, keychains, T-shirts, and signs. They even sell bbq sauces and meat rubs. I saw those items in the end displays. The store is jammed with merchandise. The gal at the store was greeting customers as they entered and exited. She was friendly and welcoming.

And yes, they offer paint and other such items along those lines. But, more than that, they have toys, they have trinkets, they have signs, they have wall hanging items, they truly have a little bit of everything. Just going inside the shop is a true adventure, because you will never know what you are going to find. This store is truly packed. The moment you walk in, every aisle is lined with tons and tons of stuff. Truly, it is a deluge of the senses. Because it's just amazing the amount of things that they offer. The staff here are all super nice. So, if you have any questions, need any help, they are always happy to give it to you. Just remember, it's way more than a hardware store. It's truly a unique place to shop that you never know what you'll find. Meaning, you may go in there and find that really specific item that you were looking for, or you may go in and find that really special something that would make the perfect gift or that's something that you never knew you needed but you now love. Great Shop!

We walked upstairs to the 2nd floor and we found this furniture store. Walked in and was greeted. We continued to walk around the store and the sales person that was inside stated that she is here to help us on anything that we feel is beneficial to our interest. "I replied, thank you so much." The ambiance of this store is comfortable. They really have good prices here. We seen 30, 50 and some 70% off on a few items. They have beds, couches, dressers, shelves, etc pertaining to house furniture or office furniture. Materials Items they were selling were fancy and solid, contemporary and Suttel of your liking of interest. Overall the place is solid to purchase furniture. Even though we were just browsing, I give kudos to the sales personnels on making you feel comfortable. No pressure just respons feedbacks of interest. We were treated with respect, being a potential buyer. Very professional on the companies approach. I will be back to look again. Alot of the furniture is nice and stylish which is applicable to a modern household. Good place, lots of parking at the parking garage! This furniture has 2 floors to browse from.

You can somewhat get a good deal with the items but they're still on the higher price side. If you know RH, you know they're known for the classic neutral calming colors. Beiges, white, black and so on. Wood frame and metal seem to be things there. Upstairs was a mixture of everything. Bed frames, rugs, bathing items with towels and so on. A mixture of bedroom stuff and some living room items. The main floors is where majority of living room and dining items are. They do have a massive collection with sofa, sections and accent chairs. Then you have the kitchen with a good selection of dining tables as well with loads of dining chairs. Accent furniture, a decent amount of items to choose from. On the patio, a smaller sections with furniture but decent. Some items are hit or miss as their individual pieces versus a whole set. Downfall with this place. Even though there's loads to choose from, everything is beige, whites, cream and literally have foot prints on pretty much every piece of furniture. It's like let your kid run loose and go to town jumping on everything. Don't get me wrong, you may get some nice pieces for a fraction of the price but even with an outlet, you somewhat expect something decent. If I'm paying 5-10k for furniture, it better not be covered in footprints...lol... Just putting it out there, they could have someone steam clean before selling and everything is pretty much sold as is. Price wise, it's still on the stepper side but as it's outlet, it's cheaper than retail. Delivery is with a third party that they use. There's parking at the structure next door.
