Waiting for our names to be called from our restaurant checkin reservations, which the restaurant was on the first floor. We walked upstairs to the 2nd floor and we found this furniture store. Walked in and was greeted. We continued to walk around the store and the sales person that was inside stated that she is here to help us on anything that we feel is beneficial to our interest. "I replied, thank you so much." The ambiance of this store is comfortable. They really have good prices here. We seen 30, 50 and some 70% off on a few items. They have beds, couches, dressers, shelves, etc pertaining to house furniture or office furniture. Materials Items they were selling were fancy and solid, contemporary and Suttel of your liking of interest. Overall the place is solid to purchase furniture. Even though we were just browsing, I give kudos to the sales personnels on making you feel comfortable. No pressure just respons feedbacks of interest. We were treated with respect, being a potential buyer. Very professional on the companies approach. I will be back to look again. Redoing is fun especially when it comes to the furniture shopping. And getting a good deal, that's a major score. This outlet is pretty massive with two floors of furniture. You can somewhat get a good deal with the items but they're still on the higher price side. If you know RH, you know they're known for the classic neutral calming colors. Beiges, white, black and so on. Wood frame and metal seem to be things there. Upstairs was a mixture of everything. Bed frames, rugs, bathing items with towels and so on. A mixture of bedroom stuff and some living room items. The main floors is where majority of living room and dining items are. They do have a massive collection with sofa, sections and accent chairs. Then you have the kitchen with a good selection of dining tables as well with loads of dining chairs. Accent furniture, a decent amount of items to choose from. On the patio, a smaller sections with furniture but decent. Some items are hit or miss as their individual pieces versus a whole set. Downfall with this place. Even though there's loads to choose from, everything is beige, whites, cream and literally have foot prints on pretty much every piece of furniture. It's like let your kid run loose and go to town jumping on everything. Don't get me wrong, you may get some nice pieces for a fraction of the price but even with an outlet, you somewhat expect something decent. If I'm paying 5-10k for furniture, it better not be covered in footprints...lol... Just putting it out there, they could have someone steam clean before selling and everything is pretty much sold as is. I'm looking for a coffee table and rug and a family member recommended I check them out and said they had "great prices." When I walked in, I spotted at least 2 things I liked, but when I got closer and looked at the price, I wasn't expecting what I saw. Almost $2k for coffee tables... it didn't seem worth it to me. Selection was okay... but just very, very pricey. Customer service seemed friendly. I was approached and asked if I had any questions and to ask if I needed anything so I appreciated that. It's been years since I visited this location and things have certainly changed. It felt so empty and I used to love their towels and bathroom/bedroom section which was almost empty. It was mostly furniture which is fine but I was shocked how little they had of everything else. The staff was very welcoming. They do provide parking validation which is conveniently located behind RH. I hope I happened to visit on a bunk weekend when stock shipment didn't arrive. If you are looking for indoor or outdoor furniture, this is definitely cheaper than going to the actual Restoration Hardware. read more

If you are a fan of Restoration Hardware, you really need to get to this location in Long Beach. It's very large and has two stories of the most exquisite and beautiful furniture...at great prices. Mind you, it is not cheap and that's for a good reason ... their furniture is top-quality and made but the finest of materials. This location is one of their warehouse locations and they have lots of items that are discontinued or have not sold in their regular stores. This doesn't mean you're getting used seconds, everything is brand new and beautiful. They have some great buys and if you really take time to look you will come across them. Chandeliers, headboards, cabinets, nightstands... On and on. Even there linens are absolutely exquisite and discounted. We found a beautiful table, light, metal frame with crystal, originally $560 and we purchased it for $140. Wow, did we get a fabulous purchase. We also purchased linen curtains, discounted from $1200 down to $200! Make sure you have a good amount of time to look around because it is well worth it. They don't keep commitment to customers and don't own up to their mistakes. I exchanged texts with their store associates Saturday afternoon before leaving home to pick up a chandelier they said were 'holding' for me. When I got there after a 90 minute drive they the 'on hold' chandelier was in their check out counter being sold to another person. I asked for an explanation and they said they only hold for 2 hours. Well yeah 90 minutes is less than two hours and if you were not going to hold it you should have told me so I dont waste my time after waiting months for the item. They said there was a confusion as the associate who was holding the item for me was a different associate from the person that exchanged texts with last so this was a mistake. I understand confusion and mistakes happen but not owning up to it and providing an acceptable resolution. They didnt even attempt to explain to the other customer that this was an item being held for me. I expect for a response and resolution from RH's store manager on this matter. read more

Full discloser: I'll be honest and admit I pretty much dislike the stuff Restoration Hardware sells. With a few exceptions it's just not my taste. So they are starting at 4 stars from the start. But my lovely wife has wanted to come here to look around for quite a long time and finally convinced me to go with her. If you come on a weekday the parking - I'm quite certain of this - is a piece of cake. On the weekends, however, it is sheer hell. Avoid, avoid, avoid!!! The Aquarium of the Pacific parking structure is total insanity and the parking structure across the street isn't much better. If you come on the weekend you will learn new definitions of "aggravation", "frustration" and "incompetent driving". Minus another star. They do validate for parking if that is any consolation. The building is a large warehouse of furniture and accessories at prices that are not cheap. Usually an outlet is less expensive than the main stores but I don't think they got the memo on that. Luckily the day we went they were having a 40% off everything sale which made prices a bit more reasonable. The bottom floor is mostly sofas and dining tables while upstairs is beds, sinks and area rugs. We (and by "we" I mean "my wife") found some towels, slippers, body cream, a blanket and serving spoons. All good quality stuff. Check out was pandemonium which is cause for deleting another star. There was no line, just a free-for-all for whoever could shove their way to the counter first. The few cashiers working all had high maintenance customers. It was like the times you go to a bank to get a roll of quarters and all the tellers are helping people who are discussing refinancing their homes. Customers either had a million questions about their purchases or kept running off to grab other stuff from the shelves while they were being rung up. When we were finally assisted after 10 minutes I have to admit the woman who rang us up was very nice and surprised us with further discounts on our items. This is a great location and it's massive. They get shipments in a few times a week so I suggest calling to see what days and be there when they open if you're looking for something in particular. Great furniture for every room as well as bedding, towels, pillows and hard ware and artwork. Staff is very nice and really go out of their way to be helpful. Prices are reduced considerably, but it's still not cheap. Their prices are up there, but it's excellent quality and worth the splurge if you can swing it. Beware of applying of using RH issues credit card. Do not waste $175 annual membership fee on becoming a RH member. I am a member and I have a RH store credit card. Made over $4000 purchase in June 2022 at Long Beach RH outlet, website clearly stated purchase well qualified for special financing, 0% apr for nine months. I was charged 24.99% interest rate the first month already. When I found out it was 60 days after purchase and the bank said there's nothing they can do. Merchandise itself is fine,'it's not brand new since this is an outlet. But do not use their credit card or you'll pay a very high interest rate. read more

I have a LOVE-HATE relationship with RH Outlet. On one hand, I love their products. They seem to fit perfectly in most modern houses, esp. the RH Modern line. On the other hand, their products are way too expensive. If you buy them new, they will cost an arm and leg, esp. if you include shipping/delivery charges, tax, and the RH members program. RH outlets are a good compromise. You can get their stuff at more reasonable, although still expensive prices. BUT, it's very hard to find what you're looking for. You need to be lucky and snag it up right after it's delivered to stores before anyone else gets it. It becomes very hit and miss. Thus, shopping at RH Outlets take a lot of effort. Many phone calls and in-store visits before you can find anything. Exacerbating the problem, most outlets are in inconvenient locations and not within LA. This one in Long Beach is probably the closest, but still takes forever to get it, and you need to time your visits to avoid traffic on the 405. We've been to this outlet a half-dozen times and come away empty handed most times. But the few items we've gotten (a rug, mirror, and painting) we absolutely love and got decent prices for them. In the end, it's a very mixed bag. Like anything in life, there's you free lunch. There's great things to be had, but you need to be patient and work for it. read more

So much furniture! Discounted prices but it is not cheap whatsoever! There are definitely gems around so just take your time and look around. This outlet has a lot more products compared to the one in Irvine. There is a parking structure next to the building and if you buy an item, RH Outlet allows you to park behind their structure so you can pick up the item easily. They will phone hold items for 2 hours btw! read more

The furniture and the brand itself aside. This is about the drivers they recommend at check out. 1st driver canceled on me the night before and didn't give me any alternative days to deliver. The sounds of roosters and cows in the background should have been alarming enough. No one does business and talks to prospective customers like that. The other driver showed up the day he said he would. I pay him in cash plus $20 in tip. He counts the money, says thank you, walks to his truck and i go back to the house. 5 minutes later he comes back with a 20 bill missing and kept insisting that I didn't pay him in full.. WHAT THE F! And to think, this place used to be a night club. Anyone else remember Club V20? This store is beyond large. Okay, not Ikea large, but still, very large when comparing to average Restoration stores. There's the huge outside patio with patio furniture. Downstairs with the sofas and chairs. Upstairs with the beds, bathroom fixtures, and bedding and bathroom supplies. Two massive floors. They have storewide additional 30%, 40%, 50% off the lowest marked price sales, but you would need to check back frequently to find out when they are on. If you are buying a $3000 leather sofa, then this makes a huge difference. If you are buying an $80 lamp, then probably not worth holding out for an extra 10% discount if you live far from here. The day I went it was 30% off storewide. Quality of goods: Sofas/Chairs/Cabinets/Beds - Some of these are season end clear outs, but most of the one-off items you see have a small flaw, hence the big discount in price. It could be a dirt stain on a white canvas sofa that you can easily get a cleaner to clean out. Or it could be a small patch of leather that didn't get dyed properly on the sofa or love seat. A scratch on a cabinet. Or chairs... this is where it gets tricky. I only checked about five different chairs and four of them were unstable, like the wobbly table at the cantina that your server needs to fold up part of the cardboard from a case of beer and put it under the foot of your table to make it sturdy. My point is... the majority of the big ticket items are returns or irregulars. Inspect carefully to see if the flaw is something you can live with. Gift Gadgets - Restoration's take on Brookstone type goodies are first quality (not irregular) and probably just season end clear outs. The travel guide, the stainless steel cocktail shaker, the cape and mask in a box for your kid, etc. These are around 50%-70% off retail. Sheets - They have a lot of solid colored linen sheets and bedding at a discount (enough to make full sets) and mix and match leftovers for other types of sheets. I didn't know the retail prices so I couldn't give you the discount amount. Towels - These are an awesome deal here. If you were considering buying Restoration towels at the regular store, come to the outlet instead. The towels here are not irregulars, they are the same quality as in the regular stores. They do not have all the different towel designs, but they do have tons of colors of their most popular super soft and full 802 Gram Turkish Towels. The Turkish towels are priced at regular retail, but depending on what day you come, you can get 30%-50% off of that. For non-802 Gram towels, you might be able to get even greater discounts. I found some Satin Stitch towels that currently retail for $40, marked down to $27, add another 30% and it's only $19 for the same current season towel that you would have to pay $40 for in a regular Restoration store. That's a 55% discount. If you are restocking on home furnishings and you like Restoration's style, you should stop here to see if you can find that sofa you want at 40%-60% off retail. People were very nice, smart, and tried to help us pick bedding. When we went to find accent pillows we made a pile of buy and don't-buys. One of the things we were going to buy didn't have a bag. It was a simple beautifully textured standard sized linen pillow case. Because there weren't two king sized pillow cases and they weren't available online or any other store so we put that king size pillow case of the same color in the don't -buy pile. When we came back to our pile they had put it nicely behind the register for us, except probably for presentation or trying to be nice they switched a standard size pillow case with no bag with a king sized pillow case with a bag, without noticing they weren't the same item. We didn't notice the switch until we started putting our bed together later that night. It's 1 hour to drive there and 1 hour to drive back without traffic. It's 3 hours of extra driving when I'm usually off work. They said they are willing to exchange the item which is nice but sending it to us would save us lots of time we don't have. We were willing to pay for shipping by or even for the new pillow case. No go. Apparently they don't ship to anyone for any reason so if they make a mistake expect to spend your own time and money to fix it. Customer service is fine in the store but it seems management or the workers have no sense of responsibility for inconveniencing people and making up for small mistakes. Possible if we spent $30000 on furniture? If not it would seem silly to shop there as there are better bargains at other stores and if you don't want a bargain then there are definitely stores with similar prices that will treat with at least a pretense they care about your time, and are willing to put an effort forth for your business. It's even possible you might find other stores who get it right and not sabotage your day off with worthless trips back to their store to correct a simple mistake THEY made. To cost us 2-3 hours of time to get a $20 item we can't get anywhere else and that perfectly matches the $400 in bedding we bought from them is pretty petty. When were there on Monday they had almost no business and people were folding things over and over. It's not like a quick shipment would ruin there workflow or destroy more important sales. Total fail for Restoration Hardware in Long Beach. About to drive back now. I had other plans for today. Very disappointed. After expressing that politely but firmly over the phone the woman on the other line didn't seem to care in the slightest. It sounded like offering to exchange the pillow case without cost to us was as much as anyone could expect. Possibly putting a sign on the door that says don't expect too much, we're self important and busy. Double check you cart. Wait that might be too much effort. Never mind. The customer should figure that out on their own For some reason I think someone at corporate read my initial review pretended to be a friend of the managers(maybe not a pretense but a harmless unassuming cover) and told someone who actually did care and sent us the correct pillow case. Thanks whoever that was. I let the bad review sit there for a couple months so as not undermine the purpose of a bad review and that is to affect change in undesirable customer service patterns. But if you don't change your review when they do the right thing to reward them then they'd have no incentive to correct their mistakes. Changing it to 4 stars and we love our bedspread. This is probably the biggest outlet I've seen compared to the Boston and Dayton ones I've visited in other states. However, the selection wasn't as ample as I expected from the other RH outlets I've been too. We came for a nightstand but there weren't many to choose from. While I understand that the inventory constantly changes, there were many even that many pieces. They did, however, have many couches. BE VERY CAUTIOUS, I purchased an Armoire just recently. It was labeld as a sample. It looked just like one of their regular armoire's. Unfortunatly for me the sales person didnt make it clear what a sample was. Samples are of much much lessor quality than actual production items. I didnt relize it till I got it home. Itt was in bettter lighting that I noticed all the minor detail in assembly and the wood they used, It is fiberwood, the screws cant be overtighten the board will not hold the screws. Very VERY DISAPPOINTED. $1000 PLUS TAX plus $370 shipping since it was oversized. I take full responsibilty for being an idiot. I put too much trust in RH's reputation. This review is for their linen beddings and customer service. There should be some sort of sign or labeling to indicate that these are made for outlets. They can't guarantee and stand by their products since it's made for outlets. It's shady for them to let consumers think they are buying regular Restoration Hardware quality linens at a discount. NO. You are buying cheaper rendition of the original and given the illusion that you got a steal. After one wash, following directions and using a brand new WD that never had bleach used, my linens were stained/discolored everywhere. One customer service rep said they were made just for outlets. Another said they can't do anything because everything is final sale. Another said to email them pictures and receipts. I took time out of my busy today to do that just to get an email saying "we can't do anything about it, it's final sale". Mind you, first rep said this is not the first time something like this happened. More than my defected beddings, I am disappointed with how they handled this situation.
