This came up as a thrift store. I guess it fits the description although most of the store was not thrift. My brother did find one new item offered to purchase as a gift for someone back home, but really, if you are looking for a good thrift store, you may want to go somewhere else. It felt more like a really nice consignment store that also had knick knacks for sale. read more

I was in town for a conference and passed this shop a dozen times before I finally had time to go in. What a cute place! Definitely my favorite store in this particular area. Kathleen, the owner, is SO sweet and you can tell she really cares about her shop and customers. The shop has a very bright and welcoming aura. I love the variety in the items she sells: crystals, home decor, plants, incense, vintage clothes, new clothes, fashion accessories, etc. The clothes were very reasonably priced considering the location, quality, etc. and I purchased an adorable top. I didn't look too much at anything else so I can't speak to their price but everything was really cute! I just moved to the area so she was lovely enough to recommend some other places and events going on (we love small businesses supporting other small businesses). I'll definitely be back whenever I'm looking for more particular clothing pieces :) read more

Soooo Cute! I might need to move to Long Beach and open up my own cute shop because I couldn't get enough of this place! It's a mix of vintage and new items that are well picked with a good variety of sizes. I came in here twice and the second time my girl that I was with had a field day of fitting every single dress she tried on! Ah, I love days like that! The furniture was a great aspect too, with really affordable danish modern items for sale at great prices. There are also records for sale for the guys...and gals. I wandered into this boutique on my way out of another store. It has a very artsy, vintage vibe. I loved the overall decor and the employees were warm and welcoming. As you can tell from my photos, I am a huge supporter of this place! I have been a supporter of Kat and Matt (the owners), even before they were married. I used to shop with Kat when she strictly did clothing, bags, and accessories. I love that they have blossomed and evolved into what they are now. Now that I am a home owner, I noticed that I have started to shift my spending to home goods. I believe decorating your home is also another expression of one's style. Just as you dress yourself, you also dress up and accessorize your home. The items that Matt and Kat make are customized and carefully hand picked. Matt also designs and builds some of the furniture they sell. A couple years back, I picked up a turquoise steamer trunk from here. It is super fun and brings some color into my home. I use it for storage and also as a night stand in my bedroom. I get a lot of compliments from visitors. It's too bad it's one of a kind... However, if you let MAKE know you are in the market for something, they may be able to help you find it! Kat is actually helping me find some items that I need for my upcoming wedding engagement shoot. She was able to find some of the items that I sent her photos of as my "inspiration" for some of the props that we want to use for our shoot and wedding day. Talk about awesome customer service! They are super accommodating and willing to work with me on all of my needs and wants! Just yesterday, I stopped by the store to pick up a handmade/painted Long Beach local made planter. Kat also gifted me some plants! I hope that I can keep these succulents alive. In addition, I picked up a Long Beach local made soy candle as well as some cute sunglasses! Where else can you shop for all these things that are super cute and reasonably priced? I've also found some really cute clothing pieces to wear. I am not one of those girls who always wears what's trendy and in the stores. I actually like to wear things that I am comfortable in, and things that I think are cute. Luckily, I've been able to find a ton of dresses, tops, belts, shirts, and shoes here. I always get tons of compliments from folks on how "cute" my top is or how "lovely" my dress is. Also on how "fabulous" my shoes or bag is! I am also a lover of vintage bags (Gucci, Dior, Chanel, Fendi, etc.) It's a bad habit I picked up from my mother. I was surrounded by this growing up, and it's an accessory that I just adore. I've picked up some awesome clutches, bucket bags, and handbags here. I don't have all the photos posted, but I will definitely add more when I change my bags/outfits. I love that Kat informs me when she has new finds for authentic vintage bags! Sometimes she will post the photos on Instagram or she will personally text or call me to let me know if it's something that I will absolutely love. Just because I am not in Long Beach or SoCal, it doesn't mean I still can't shop here. MAKE Collectives also ships! I can't wait until they have a website that I can purchase directly from. I look forward to the day that I can shop from my bay area home, and have these goodies sent directly to me! There have been a lot of times that I wish I could just walk into the store and pick up some of the items that I see posted on Instagram. I also saw some changes in the store yesterday! They are building a section for men's vintage clothing and accessories! So ladies, bring your man when you come shop. They have a section for themselves, too! They can look at some fits, vinyl, or furniture too! For you vinyl lovers, they have an extensive collection of vinyl available at the store as well! One more thing... I love that they are all about supporting local artists and businesses! They have some jewelry, hand painted pots, shirts, handmade cards! All are super cute. Love love everything about it... I've stopped by her many times and never felt really inspired to buy anything before even though I like the eclectic mix of home furnishings, music, and clothing. However, I finally found a blouse I just couldn't get over. A vintage french connection floral blouse ! It's more than I would pay for a shirt, but I knew right away it would look good with everything in my closet. I hope to find more gems like this blouse there and some other cool pieces. This shop is amazing! Purchased a vintage Gucci clutch and Chanel bag online, requested to have bags shipped by Tuesday and received it on Monday. Love my vintage bags! I'm already addicted to this store, they have great finds. Everything went so smoothly, Kat is extremely friendly and helpful. Fantastic little shop run by fantastic people! Service has always been warm and friendly and the vibe feels like you're just popping over to a friend's place. Fantastic selection of vintage ranging from the 60s to the 90s with great prices! Inside Make Collectives is Le Femme Vintage known to carry vintage designer purses like Chanel and Gucci. I'll have to stop in again soon since I've just moved to the neighborhood and see what vintage furniture finds they've gotten since my last visit! This is my new favorite place on my lunch break! A really cute store located in the heart of boutiques and eateries, you can't miss it! Big windows with mid-century furniture displays and vintage clothing on racks behind the glass. Her picks on vintage is on point, on trend and must haves! I wanted more than what I left with but that doesn't mean I won't be back. I snagged this gorgeous, short sleeved, button up with green and ivory stripes. It's going to look so cute with high waisted shorts or even cut-offs, perfect summer staple! I can't wait to see more furniture come in, as I have key pieces in mind. New succulents in vintage pots and other creative vases have been added all over the store and I wanted to take all of them home! Love this store! Not only can you find vintage designer goods, but you can also find really nice refurnished furniture! Kat and her husband, Matt, obviously have a good eye for finding really good pieces to put around the house (big or small)! Everything in the store is priced very reasonably for both the furniture and the clothing/accessories! The best part is that there is always new inventory almost every week, the bad part is if you snooze you loose! LOL. Superb collection of records. Nice little 10 records for $7 surprise pack. You never know what you're going to get and they offer a wide array. Every Friday is free record Friday and you can stop by to pick up a few records to add to your collection. Kind shop keeper and she has steez for days. Offers beautiful jewelry and clothes that keep you fresh. Purchased a little air plant, records, jewelry and a few greeting cards. I love this place but man whoever is supposed to be there at the hours posted sucks. I have come by at least 5-10 times and each time the boutique has been closed. I'm here now and the sign says open at 12p, it is now 12:50 and the doors are still closed but I can see someone just casually walking around inside. What's the point of posting a sign that states the hours of operation if they're not going to be honored. Might as well just post a sign that says, "MAY THE ODDS BE EVER IN YOUR FAVOR." Truly frustrating to stop by during my lunch break only to waste a trip plus time. Again, I love this place just wish it were open more often. =/ read more
