I would give this place less than 1 star if I could. I purchased a bench from here right before closing and it split in half as I was driving away. Spontaneously , with no pressure on it whatsoever. After discussion with the business, I was offered a 40 % discount on a future purchase . No offer to assist in the repair or any type of discount or refund on a faulty item. In a time where there is endless choice and your money is your vote, I'm shocked that after spending 400$ on a piece this is the level of service given. I'm basically SOL for the cost of the item and now the repair . I also bought a shelf from here via IG stories. While beautiful, it is cheap quality. Also wasn't worth the money and is a tipping hazard. Would not recommend purchasing from here at all. read more

Found this place on instagram, adorable vintage furniture, home decor, and clothing store. We had our eye on this beautiful vintage rocking chair (in great condition) so we popped over to the spot, tried it out, bought it for $195. The gals who worked at the shop (one was the owner, I think?) were extremely friendly, courteous, and helpful. The shop (at least at the time we visited) had a heavy focus on teak wood and bamboo things -- had a tropical esque vibe to it. Highly recommended, we will be back! read more

I wish I could pay 6th and Detroit to hunt for furniture to replace all the icky furniture in my apartment. The taste and quality - it's that good. I have bought a dresser and a mirror from them over the past few years, and both pieces are so amazing. I obsessively check their Instagram for new pieces to refresh my apartment. I have not yet made it down to LB - but their instagram feed is so beautifully curated and easy to browse. I recently (finally!) went into 6th And Detroit for the first couple of times and had great experiences during both. Shopping the ever-changing curated collections was such an enjoyable experience from every aspect. First, the shop interior is aesthetically appealing, interesting and nostalgia-inducing. I found several items that fondly reminded me of another person, time or place in my life. The playlist certainly contributed to my shopping enjoyment, too. :) However, it's the customer service that I've found to be what will keep me coming back. Made the trek up to Long Beach from San Diego when they told me to come over this weekend because they got the greatest haul ever. So I'm looking around the store and only 1 shelf was really for sale the other 2 were housing other items that they were selling. It's really disappointing when you've already called the store and asked for pictures and they just tell you you'll have plenty of options when you come in.
