This shop has a very cool vibe. It looks small from the outside, but it's a long store. It feels like it must have been a house at one time with all the separated, small rooms. It even has an outdoor area that could have been a backyard. When I first walked in, it felt like I was stepping back into the '70's. A lot of brown and orange hues. Once you pass the front counter on your left, you feel like you're stepping into someone's living room. There's a couch, coffee table, dial television set, and the record player is blasting '70's music from their collection of vinyl. The first room on the left sells clothes, plants, etc. The second small room next to it has a large picture of KISS plastered on the walls, between the selection of boots and jackets. If you keep walking towards the back, there's a room to your right where the record player is. After exiting that room, you walk into the main room and a large selection of vinyl for sale near the back. They sell used and new merchandise. Everything from used clothes to new jewelry, paintings, artwork, and everything in between. Like I said, there's a large outdoor patio where they sell patio furniture, pots, plants and other outdoor decoration. There is really a lot to take in, and everything is affordable. I saw something I liked that cost $9.50, but I asked myself where I was going to put it. The gal at the front counter was friendly. They take Apple Pay. They have a little bit of everything, and it is all truly curated and unique. Located on Orange Avenue, in the Eastern section of Long Beach California, this business is a little bit off of the beaten path. It's actually a truly unique neighborhood. Though it's basically a residential area, there's a number of unique businesses right around Goods on Orange. So, you can easily grab a meal, or a coffee, or a little bit of something else once you come to the area this business is located within. Once inside, you are overwhelmed with a plethora of all kinds of everything. It's truly a visual experience to walk into this business. They have a lot of great everything. I can't say that enough, because you truly never know what you are going to find when you go in. The staff here are all super nice, so if you have any questions, they're happy to help you out with whatever they can. In terms of pricing, they're very fair. Sure, you can maybe find cheaper prices at a thrift store. But, at a thrift shop you're never guaranteed that you're will find the best of the best like is available at this business. And, that's what this shop offers, the best of the best. In terms of parking, street parking is your best bet. On weekends, you may have to walk a little bit, because, as stated, there is a number of other businesses directly surrounding Goods on Orange. But, it's a good way to get your steps in. One of my favorite antique stores in Long Beach to go too! They have a little bit of everything for everyone here. Could easily spend hours browsing through all the stuff from toys to clothes. I especially like how they have an outdoor section with plants and succulents. I bought some Garbage Pail Kids stickers and the cashier who helped me was nice. I love a good curated selection from different vendors and some things were cute but I couldn't in good faith give a cent to this store. The vibes were so off, customer service was absolutely terrible and unwelcoming. Most items were overpriced and mixed with tacky pin, sticker, and wholesale dropship jewelry vendors. I visited this place a few weeks ago during a lunch break, and I was really impressed. I finally had got to make another trip today and lost all self-control. There are multiple rooms/nooks to explore, and I was shocked at how large the space itself was! There's even an outdoor area available to check out in the back. Goods on orange is a definite must if if you're looking for Vintage/Retro in Long Beach! The shop carries lots of decor,clothes and furniture ranging from the 60's to the 90's and 00's. There's so much to look at from all the different vendors and makers/artists. I've found music, posters, earrings, plants for my patio, and my most recent favorite, a harley davidson leather vest in amazing condition. In the back, you'll find the garden section with an array of different plants and pots for your garden needs. The shop also hosts fun small events with music, vendors, tattoos, and food. Lauren and Elena are incredibly friendly and welcoming as well as very helpful. Each time I've visited, there's always something new that catches my eye, so I'm always coming back for more. Really love this place for vintage jeans and unique, one-of-a-kind pieces! There are not a lot of cool thrift shops in my area that already has a curated selection of vintage yet trendy clothes without having to dig endlessly through old stuff. I like how it looks like a regular shop when you enter but then you go more and more inside and discover small treasures and fun knickknacks everywhere. There's also an outside garden in the back with cool and interesting plants, containers and tools. I wish there were more parking in the lot provided but street parking wasn't too hard to find. I have been here several times, there is another vintage store next door too, now, but this one is a very good size, they have several train-style large rooms leading to a garden aimed area, where I, personally, found a great wall mounting Medusa head shapes planter, and today, these cute flower shaped dishes and this Lincoln quote. Any trip here will cost you money, so come prepared to go in saying 'I swear I am just looking' and fail yet again . Talk about "retail therapy". I decided to check out Goods on Orange last month. I saw a post on IG advertising their shop. I needed a dress for a friend's funeral, I would be attend that weekend. All of the women working were very welcoming and helpful. It was so much fun to walk around and see all of the wonderful treasures. Two of the women helped me choose the perfect dress and belt. You can't beat the prices, the quality, and best of all the customer service. And this gallery is a treasure especially because it's so close and so packed with the addictive stuff. Room after room of it. It's easy to see how people get hooked. I always bump into them during my searches when they're not paying any attention to me but are focused solely on their next find-fix. You can see it in their wild deer-in-the-headlight eyes, hear it in their over-the-top discoveries with friends or as they mumble incoherent to themselves.
