Nothing sacred, nothing real just overpriced clutter, dead energy, and a bitter owner who acts like she's casting spells but couldn't clear a room with bleach or couldn't banish a fruit fly, let alone bad vibes. Second time coming in. Got there at 3:30, turns out they opened at 4pm. Really needed help with a personal problem. I am so thankful and glad I trusted my gut and decided to stay and wait. Coming into the store is always nice, smells amazing and just feels homie. When Sandra came up to me and asked if I needed help, I was nervous since I have never met her but I opened up to her and told her the "dirt". Two stars because I found what I needed at a reasonable price and this is a woman-owned business. But please believe me when I tell you this is the most chaotic, disorganized, filthy store I have ever been to. I was shocked to see their city trash can (you know the huge gray can that is supposed to live outside?) sitting inside the store. Inside. The. Store. Just sitting in an aisle blocking all the merchandise. POL is next to a bar, so you know that can has been peed on and puked in. That took me out. I could not wait to get out of that place. Such a bummer. I bought an aquamarine stone ring last night from POL and was so excited to wear it. I put it on this morning and went to the grocery store, pretty uneventful. When I got back in my car the stone was missing from the ring. I looked :( Looked in my car, bags, store, but to no avail. When I called the owner, she seemed dismissive and in no way helpful. When I asked her for a credit, she said she would not. She related it to buying a pair of tights, walking out of the store and putting a hole in them then trying to return them. Ugh.....
