What an awesome store! Such an eclectic collection of home gifts and collective items. I checked my mother and her girlfriend out for dinner for Valentine's Day, and I stopped in the shop and the wonderful amazing Jordan helped me out and it was such a wonderful experience. I think because Jordan was so patient and wonderful. I spent more money.. I purchased several pieces of minerals from rose quartz to lapis spheres, and some court Cristol Towers. I also purchased some silver turquoise bracelet cuffs that were quite unique and beautiful. The customer experience that Jordan provided was on a different level. I ended up leaving to go have lunch with my mother and I came back and everything was packed up perfectly and ready to go. I'll definitely be returning to this business as they have so many hard to find one of a kind sort of pieces. If you're looking for that perfect gift for that special someone or if you want to treat yourself to some really nice high-end pieces at a great price I recommend rain Dance at 419 Shoreline Village Dr. in Long Beach. Came here to buy a love lock with my girlfriend for our 3+ month anniversary. The locks are reasonably priced and they even allow you to engrave your names now. We engraved our names and year. Service was great and so was the customer service they were attentive and made sure we got what we needed! read more

The employees lied or whatever but Maria came thru where they alll (including shoreline security) dropped the ball and that's probably why she is manager. The store sells knock offs of Andean style ponchos claiming them to be made of Alpaca wool. This is completely untrue- the ponchos are made of 100% acrylic, not even of good, soft quality. The ponchos of that size, made of real alpaca wool, cost $700 in Ecuador, because Alpaca and vicuna wools are very expensive. The owners of the RAINDANCE store should stop misrepresenting the nature of the ponchos, counting on a naivete of the shoppers. read more

This store has always been so friendly from their cashier staff whenever I visited them. They host super fun machines like 'Medicine Man,' 'Zoltar,' and 'Love Tester.' I can so live in that store as well. Cashiers have always been extremely efficient~they hold a wide variety of products sold in the store: crystals, candles, incense and other souvenirs. I'm about to head back in for shopping today on March/22/2024 because they are hosting a 10% off sale today. We aren't supposed to take pics from inside the store, so I ended up stocking pictures from these machines I go for. read more

And she yelled at her staff person (white) and told her to go help the English speaking customers only. She was very rude!!! Scam scam scam!! Beautiful store but the quality is terrible and the customer service here is really sorry. I've been coming here since I was about 3 years old, back in the 80s early 90s and have been buying rings here since. For the past 10 years I've bought numerous rings!! And they all broke! When I ask for the jeweler to fix it they just give me the run around and the owner never gives customers the time of day, always acting like they are so busy. I've seen the Route 66 sign a lot at of Shoreline Village stores as well as Santa Monica!! Raindance definitely sells touristy knickknacks. I purchased a cute Pink, Volkswagen Beetle with Route 66 on the side of the doors.. One of my favorite little souvenirs. The tiny gift shop has lots of coffee mugs, water bottles and lanyards with Route 66 on them! Rain dance was a nifty Native American themed place that also sells colorful jewelry, stones, magnets and other clothing and accessory items. It is a fairly cramped and small shop, so be careful not trip on anything! Haha. You'll find this beautiful shop because the aquamarine color of the front is super neon and very vibrant. It is right next to Twister's Coffee and has a seating area in front; next to the water port bay. read more

This store is a scam. My mom was visiting from out of town and wanted to buy souvenirs so I brought her down to Shoreline Village. This store had a large display with magnets and keychains that had multiple signs on it stating "Mix and Match. 1 for $3.95 2 for $5.99". My mom picked out a lot of them and checked out. When she told told me her total, the numbers did not add up for what she had purchased. The cashier told me that the keychains my mom had chosen were the only ones on the entire display that were not included in the sale. Why are they on the display? I think the cashier saw an older lady who was clearly a tourist and took advantage! She wouldn't honor the prices they had advertised. TOURISTS BEWARE! read more

Great little shop with lots of, (what at least appears to be), authentic Native American trinkets, turquoise jewelry, gifts and such. I'm a guy's guy, so shopping ANYWHERE for me is like a drive-by... Get there, hit what it is that you want and then get the eff out of there... So, I usually try to avoid these "touristy" type shops but somehow, I am always lured in here. Maybe it's the haunting, hypnotic music that comes from within? Anywho, the fact that I always go in when the wife and I are traversing Shoreline Village speaks volumes about the store itself!!! The male clerk behind the counter, (pony-tail wearing fellow), was super chill and extremely helpful to the wife and I... BTW... Don't forget to Check In on Yelp!!! I checked in, (for the first time), and received what I believe was supposed to be 10% off of one item, (or maybe it was it 15%??? Unfortunately had a terrible experience here. Racist store. I was on a afternoon walk, not looking my best, just in simple walking clothes. I came in to browse the store only to be met with who I assume is the manager, a middle aged larger woman. She greeted me once then proceeded to uncomfortably follow me around the store. I was out looking for new jewelry, but not anymore. It was obvious by my skin color and relaxed attire I was targeted by this unpleasant woman. What topped it off is the clear difference in how she greeted and assisted other (white) customers who walked in the store. Cheap product, horrid customer service, and bad vibes. This store is profiting off of Native art, yet treating people of color so poorly. I would advise to not support this dirty shop. read more

Went in here on my vacation trip with my husband and was harassed constantly by the store manager. The employees in this store need to pick up on when a customer just wants browse around and enjoy their time looking. The products in this store are extremely over priced as well. When I did finally purchase something, the manager was practically rushing us out because of a small two person line. Overall, a note to the business, it is not that serious. Fun little shop with a huge variety of gift items. This review is specifically for Valerie. She's a very genuine soul and explained the meanings behind the stones we were looking at. I ended up purchasing 2 necklaces from her. I won't get into specifics but I appreciate her plethora of knowledge and I would definitely visit the store again in the future. Worst experience ever. The young lady at the front was extremely rude and on her phone the entire time. She couldn't be bothered to answer 1 question about a stone. She told us "I'm not a geologist, that's a question for google" she said it in the most snobby way possible. We were just looking for a small gift and was treated poorly. Management- please do something about your poor hospitality. I for sure can understand why there wasn't much business in the first place. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE EVER! There's a super skinny, white woman with short hair who either works at this store or owns this store. I was shopping for crystals (I've collected crystals for years)with my son when I slightly opened a display case just enough to check on a price and was about to chose one of two crystals to buy when this woman comes to lecture me in a condescending manner about opening the case. She could have said something like "here, let me help you." But instead she was sarcastic, condescending and snobby. I was about to drop serious money at her store since I spotted stuff I liked throughout. I've shopped here before for many years and I've never been treated this way. ***Beware of extremely poor customer service and discriminatory practices*** The only reason this is being given a 1 star review is because there's not an option to give zero. Today my daughter and a couple of friends were in this shop looking at a cheap shell bracelet that they actually ended up buying when an employee proceeded to walk over to them and tell them she worked there and not to try to steal anything because they will prosecute. She then proceeded to tell them this story about someone else who had been caught stealing. These are young teens who are good kids and have absolutely no reason to steal. The fact that this employee thought it was ok to harass them and insinuate they might steal something is extremely infuriating and they will be hearing from me, not to mention this will also be reported to the BBB. Whether this treatment was based on age or on race, this is discrimination and I won't tolerate it. Advice to the owner, train your employees to treat customers with respect and get rid of those who feel they have the right to harass and discriminate before it ends up costing you for the long run. read more
