I love Z Fabrique! The energy is very down to earth, authentic, and communal. Nancy and Gabriel are so warm and welcoming, I've enjoyed every interaction I've shared with both of them. This store feels like a hidden gem bc it's on the side streets off 2nd Street (Argonne Ave), but it should not be passed up! My first purchase here was a support Palestine sticker. I even bought a special ring here that I've never seen anywhere else. I've also bought a number of crystals here for myself and as gifts, and they always provide a cute bag you can select yourself. Their tarot selection is vast, and everything feels reasonably priced. They also do drop in card readings now with rotating readers. Check this place out, you won't regret it. My friend told me about their monthly Tarot and Psychic reading and wow, this is awesome. They go by donations so that's even better. They offer this only the third Thursday every month at 6:30pm until about 9ish. You sign up with anyone one of the readers and they talk to you for 10 min. You can't sign up for each one, you have to sign with one person at a time and if you want to go to another reader, you have to do it after each reading, otherwise, other people won't be able to get a turn. Definitely come here early because I got frustrated and couldn't find parking and when I finally did, it was a walk. They are near the Nick the Greek restaurant. I came to this store because I read how they have some stickers supporting Palestine, I had to come support! This shop is very small and packed with so many wonderful items. There is truly something for everyone here. You can really take your time and look at all of the oracle cards or sage or incense or spend time with all of the crystals in the back room. I loved how many of the crystals had little write-ups that you could take when you buy. The incense selection is incredible and priced well enough to pick up a few different kinds. I was introduced to this place by a friend years ago during high school, and I was impressed by the various selections and diversity of spiritual practice. I used to get a lot of bracelets and necklaces here, and it's still fun to browse around. Every now and then I'll come around for a visit and it's always maintained it's theme throughout the years. There's a significant array of incense and candles to look from in the room to the right, along with a variety of statues associated with different beliefs. There's also a back room that displays larger raw crystals as opposed to the smaller stones in the front display. While it is a small shop, it holds up larger cultures and practices where people can come to find. I've always had a good experience coming here and am usually satisfied with my purchases, as long as there is something to find or discover, it's hard to feel disappointed. read more

I stopped in here looking for some herbs to go with some candles that I had purchased at House of Intuition moments before. House of Intuition actually suggested this place and what a find it was! Went here for the first time a few days ago and fell in love immediately. Very gentle, welcoming energies - the sound of wind chimes fills the space and it makes you want to speak softly so as to not disturb the atmosphere (I mean this in a good way). The owner was very helpful and cheerful and the store had pretty much everything to suit your metaphysical needs. Well-organized, smelled amazing, and excellent selection. Decent price, too, from what I saw (I was checking out oil burners and candles). The layout is a little bit strange - there are actually 3 rooms when I had thought there was 2 - the third one is full of large crystals and I believe the space where she does readings for people. You'll also probably have to walk a bit to get there - since it's right by the beach, parking is scarce. Overall, 10/10, will visit again. read more

I had Z Fabrique bookmarked for a while and finally made it down there today. The store has a large selection of items and the woman that rang me up was really pleasant. I bought a cute dream jar and a smudge stick. Three stars because the space felt very cramped and disorganized. It also seemed dusty, like some of the inventory had been around for a while. An overhaul of the store seems in order. Maybe better organization and a more streamlined appearance would give the store a more pleasant, updated vibe. read more
