Very cute boutique shop in East Village! I didn't catch the owner's name but she was so sweet. Love the style of all the clothes and accessories. Bought a gorgeous silk scarf to tie onto my purse and a greeting card with Villa Riviera on the front, which I plan to frame because it's such a beautiful piece of art :) I believe the shop is only open on weekends which is sad, but understandable for the size of the store. This is my go-to spot for local, handmade body soaps. It's a family-owned business that has some clothing, but mainly skincare. For those familiar with downtown Long Beach, the company used to be Ash Bay Soap Co. and used to exist on Broadway. They're rebranding as Saffria and this is their forever home. They consistently run a special on soap bars where you get 4 for $25 and you can mix and match. You really have to plan ahead though as they sell out fragrances rather quickly, and if you don't have your stock, you have to explore other options. *we buy in bulk and stick in the fridge. They also usually have bath bombs, oils, etc as well. If you're looking for quality and care about ingredients, this is the place for you. read more

This place is a gem! Well curated modern day, casual outfits with a great price point. The owner tries to keep her price point under $50. I got a three-piece outfit today for $80. This store is actually two different companies in one space (Anneise & Peacock). I think it's a neat and unique concept to have clothing & plants in one shop! After a quick browse around, I picked up a dainty gold necklace and a small plant. They had to ring up the items separately. Was super disappointed...shop hours says they are open 12-5. I made a large detour specifically to get a dress I saw them post on their social media. When I arrived at 4:20, they were already closed. Honestly, I'd always wanted to go into Anneise because the aesthetic is so beautiful; however, that aesthetic also reads as expensive. Finally visited the store recently and was so surprised to find such reasonable prices! I found so many pretty things that I wanted to take home that I had to narrow down my selections and make some tough choices. I even wore one of my new necklaces out of the store! Come here if you want to look chic without going broke! Prices are very reasonable for gorgeous clothes and accessories that look like they cost a lot more than they do. The inventory sold here is simple but elegant and very cute. You won't find a lot of neon-colored clothes here. Clothes are mainly in neutrals. I was really excited about this shop but my experience was subpar. I was near the shop shooting a commercial yesterday as a background extra. Apparently the production company did something to upset the shop owner, something that had nothing to do with me but I get the feeling she knew I was with the production. When she rung me up I said I didn't need a bag and she sorta just left the sweater in a pile on the counter and turned around to do something else as well as continue talking to a friend that came into the store. No thank you, no have a nice day, no acknowledgement of any sort. Just to be clear I don't feel the need to be catered to in shopping situations. This was just a blatantly uncomfortable response to me. Super cute stuff but i was not treated in a way I felt was right for a patron to be treated but an employ/shop owner. Too bad because I felt like I was paying a price for something I don't know about or do. read more

The stuff here is so cute, so I was really disappointed when I went in and almost nothing fit me. The majority of the clothes they had in stock where a size small or medium, and the clothes ran much smaller than those sizes normally do on me. I know it keeps a small stock, but it's really disappointing to see stores cater to only very thin women. On top of that, the two times I have been in, the woman working there was not very friendly. I will say, the accessories and shoes are super cute and I'm glad to have a locally owned shop like this in LB, but I wish they would make an effort to be more inclusive. read more

Last November I moved to Long Beach and have been looking for a store like this. Prices are definitely reasonable and the items in the store are amazing. My girlfriend and I were walking around and stumbled upon this shop. The shop is owned by Kimberly, who is super nice! She even recommended some good places to eat. It looks like a high end boutique without the high prices. This is my favorite place to shop! It has unique finds and is very artsy. I purchased three stud earrings for less than $30.
