A very friendly staffer helped me with searching for my wife's birthday. I was unable to find anything however I felt their selection was rather fun and true to the vintage era. Items seemed fairly priced and I would definitely cruise back in to shop and look at the cool posters on the wall. Dropping in at Goldies is good fun. read more

India if you're reading this this is for you - i came in today and knew exactly what I wanted. I had very little time. I have a gift certificate. Despite my helping your store clerk digitally enter the certificate numbers for almost 7 minutes, it did not work. She called you for help... you also couldn't make it work. I notice you have all kinds of discounts (including 15% for a Yelp review lol) and 20% for online purchase and $10 just because. Because I was going to order this item online, and because this was taking forever, I wondered if you could honor the 20%. You said no. The system was still not working. Check out was going on 10 minutes, so I left. I then realize I left something in the store and I came back in to hear you guys talking about me on the phone - that I was "nice" until I asked for 20% off. I left because your clerk and your system weren't able to check me out. Very unprofessional! You've made a terrible impression. Why were you audibly speaking bad about a customer? Why is your checkout system broken? Not cool at all. read more

My love for Goldie's started during a weekend trip to Ventura in 2016. I bought a whole bunch of cool things. The salespeople told me there is one in Long Beach and I was like, "What???" I have since been a "regular" at Goldies on 4th. I have built and added to my wardrobe with all types of Goldie goodies. I moved to Long Beach in 2017, and Goldie's is within walking distance. (((LOVE))) I popped in a few days before the Covid-19 shut down and bought a few items. However, I see that Goldie's on 4th might be closed for good? There is blue paper covering the windows and a "Shop Goldie's Online" sign on the window. I will be hella sad if Goldie's is gone for good. Please say it isn't so. read more

I discovered this wonderful shop recently after I had gone to the Assistance League Thirft Store. I found a beautiful flowing top on the sale rack and an even cuter top inside the store. The sales associate was very nice and helpful. I also purchased a gorgeous clutch! I don't need anymore purses, and I couldn't resist. I live just down the street and I've been dying to buy something here. The occasion presented itself for my best friend's wedding. I went in and was immediately greeted by a sweet young lady. She was super helpful! I decided on a beautiful gold dress. The next day I came back to complete the look with earrings and a necklace. Again I was helped out by someone kind. My sister introduced me to Goldie's because she thought it "was my style." Goldie's has a great selection of new-vintage clothing and comfortable chic wear. Best store ever! They have a fantastic selection of clothes and accessories at an affordable price point. This cute store stole a piece of my heart with the prettiest dog print halter dress. I was also tempted to get a cat print one too but I controlled myself. They also have a sales section, including a rack outside where everything is under $20. Love love love this store! Went yesterday with my friend and I spotted this really cute fringe bag that I fell in love with and I came back today to pick it up; I also browsed a little bit more and ended up buying the bag, plus a shirt fro the under $20 rack outside and a couple of rings. I have been searching for a store like this for I don't know how long. The clothing is sustainable, really cute, made in the United States, and get this...affordable! Dream come true! I love unique clothing, but buying clothing that comes from sweatshops or hurts animals is something I can't get on board with. And I also can't afford to spend $100 on a t-shirt. Everyone who works there is insanely sweet and helpful. The selection of clothing is perfect for any lifestyle. I purchase clothing and accessories for myself and my 18 year old daughter. I really like the clothing and Alessandra is super friendly and helpful. As of now, I've decided that I'm only going to buy the jewelry because I bought a beautiful black chiffon blazer that had the entire left arm seam rip. I hadn't noticed a couple of loose threads when I bought it, and the first time I wore a couple of months later, a gaping hole ripped through it.. I would've chalked it up to an isolated incident, but I've also had a dress rip after wearing it three times and gently handwashing it and following directions. They have beautiful clothes, but I feel the boutique prices don't justify the Forever 21 quality. read more

Goldies has been my favorite store for awhile now! They always have what I need, whether it is a cute cozy sweater or a birthday dress! Today I went in for a last minute NYE dress, for a prohibition era themed party, and the woman working was enthusiastic to help and even took the time to Google the eras style! Her name was Ashley and I can not thank her enough! She helped me find the perfect dress and the perfect accessories! Everytime I have come the employees have been extremely friendly and helpful. I always look forward to shopping there and it's the one place I never feel bad about treating myself. I always go home loving everything I buy there! Best store ever! read more

I stopped in here about a month ago for the 4th Friday event on 4th street. It's a cute little boutique with decently priced clothing. Right when I walked in, I saw this beautiful mustard yellow jumper I had to have. The reason I'm giving 4 stars is because one of women working repeatedly kept insisting that the yellow was NOT my color and didn't work well with my complexion. Had she mad one comment about it I probably would've let it go, but she said it like 3-4 times! I still bought it because it was an awesome jumper, but if it was someone else I'm sure they would've been offended and walked out! Just flat out bad salesmanship. Anyways, it's overall a cute place with nice clothes, just be warned you might receive some unwarranted fashion advice. read more

All the decors throughout the stores are fun. Vintage mannequin heads, the dressing rooms doors made of old vintage refrigerator doors, they were great. There's a huge selection of vintage jewelry on displays as well as loads of fun sunglasses. Beside the clothes, the vintage signs which I assume are display were fun. Now that'll be great for home decor. Not sure if they're for sale though. Basically this is another gem along the art district that worth a wander. So much amazing and fun pieces.

Goldie's on 4th was an absolute gem of a find! Beautiful, unique, WOW factor clothing located on LB's fabulous Retro Row. Christina was working this past Sunday and could not have been more delightful. The floral, goddessesque romper/dress I purchased was nearly a perfect fit. Christina kindly gave me a seamstress credit on my purchase, and after a quick and painless alteration I felt like a dime diva on date night! Service was wonderful. Prices were fine. Dress I bought was and still is amazing. Just recently my hubby commented on how much he liked that black long button up dress I bought. Material: cotton, as I cannot wear polyester due to allergies. Going back to buy more! Can't say enough about a small neighborhood store that carries clothes I can wear in size, price and material. Best store on 4th!! Super cute stuff and very friendly staff. Keep up the good work guys!! What i like about this store is you dont feel like youre being watched or you dont have anyone walking around following you. Most stores on 4th do that, I understand they try to take precautions with theft but that is not the way because it makes the customer feel very un welcomed. This place has all the essentials! The buyer has a knack for great items in tune with the season! Every time I come in to this store, I find something I love. Price is reasonable for the ease of shopping and items you get. Parking is very hard in the area though. But surrounded by great shops, food places, and coffee house, so a nice way to spend an afternoon :) I recommend checking it out! read more

Absolutely love this store! Goldie's on 4th has such a great selection of clothes and accessories! I am a tall girl, all legs and it is so difficult finding dresses and skirts that are appropriate for me to wear at work. Love this place! It's one of my local go to's for gifts as well as affordable, gorgeous clothing. AND they're even puppy friendly, so I always feel welcome, even when I have my two pups wth me. Shortly before closing, I was in the area and finally had a chance to experience this shopping gem. What a beautifully laid out store.
