BeMe Chic is one of the best boutiques I've ever been to! The experience and undivided attention that Linda provides is exceptional she made sure she took take care of me from beginning to end. She only asked a few questions and knew the color, shape and type of dress that went with me, my skin complexion and height and of course the occasion. I will definitely be coming back to her boutique for any special occasion events. The quality of the dresses she carries is worth the value! Side note: call in advance to book an appointment!

I made a last minute appointment with Linda at BeMe Chic for a rush on a dress needed for an upcoming gala. Not only did Linda have options in my size but she had options I liked. Linda was patient with me and was a great listener. When I said I didn't care for a dress with lace sleeves she didn't hesitate to show me another option and she never once made me feel bad for not liking something. Linda is very knowledgeable about fashion and has a gift when it comes to looking at you and knowing your size immediately. That definitely helped in making my shopping experience a good one. She's funny but also straight to the point. I am so grateful she was able to rush my fitting and alterations so quickly - I didn't leave her any time (sorry Linda), but she made it happen. She also had some great recommendations on other items such as jewelry, purses, and even less formal pieces (I love my Paige jeans - they fit like a glove and are long enough for me at 5'11"). Thank you Linda! I will be referring all of my friends and family to her at Be Me Chic!

I didn't want to write this review but after talking to my partner I felt it was important to let others know my experience. I came here to try on dresses for my sisters wedding. Linda is the owner, she was very outspoken, talks over you, and aggressive, but she's a good sales person. I felt so amazing and confident in two dresses Linda picked out she made a comment about my breasts (I'm a breastfeeding mama & 8 months postpartum). I won't say the comment because I am still in shock that she would think that's okay to say to a future customer. I never once asked her "how do my breast look to you?". It was very uncalled for and uncomfortable honestly. I didn't buy a dress but i was going to go the next day to make a decision. Once I was home I texted her and canceled our appointment. I should've left when I felt she was a bit pushy with selling. I can't believe I didn't speak up for myself in the moment. I'll rather go elsewhere like Downtown Los Angeles where I can find the exact same dresses for cheaper with alterations and better service. I love my mom bod I look like I never had a baby! I get compliments all the time but I do hope as an owner she realizes what she says and tells her future customers. With that said I'm glad I didn't spend $322 here. Thanks Yelp

I highly recommend this place for all your dress needs. The service was wonderful! Linda was very caring and knew exactly what I needed. I literally went to every other dress store around and found nothing. Walking in and having the perfect dress you needed just handed to you? Amazing!

Wow couldn't have been happier with this last minute find, she knew just what to do! Never had so many compliments on a dress before. You get what you pay for, and this truly was the best and so comfy. I tried on several dresses but this was the first and it was perfect! She really knows her stuff and how to style someone with something that fits them.

So I've been looking for a dress for a Black Tie Wedding. I wanted something perfect. On my lunch break I drove past this place. Ate my lunch in hurry and made sure to stop by. I ran out of time but I told Linda I would be back. Here's funny part, I told her what I was looking for and right away she grabbed a dress and I was not sure because it didn't look like something I would pick out. Anyway...3 hours later I came back and she grabbed dresses that she thought would look good on me. 2nd the dress and it was the dress she previously grabbed and WOW. It's like she knew! I would go to Linda for anything like this again. It's cute boutique in LB and I'm so happy with my purchase!

Looking for a nice dress for an event? Look no further!! Linda is simply the best! My mom and I were dress shopping for a wedding and started at the mall with no luck. I saw this place and decided to go check it out on a whim and it worked out perfectly! When we came in she looked at us and right away pulled dresses for us that fit us perfect! We were worried that we would be searching all week for dresses but at this shop it really was a one stop shop. I found not only my dress here, but also everything else!! Shoes, bracelet, clutch, and earrings! Deciding to stop at Linda's shop was a huge relief because she really is an expert and made things easy and stress free for us! She is very friendly and knowledgeable. Oh and ladies if you're worried about not finding something in your size she had plus size options for my mom that were great and were flattering on her! Like I said, she really knows what she's doing! We bought here fajas as well because they were good and better than the ones we had at home. If you need alterations that is offered here as well. I rarely give 5 star reviews but this place and Linda really deserve it!

This place saved me for last minute dress shopping for a destination wedding in Hawaii. I walked in and Linda asked me questions about the occasion. She knew immediately what to recommend and also had a good idea of my style and sizing. They have dresses for every occasion, and even offer in house alterations. She helped me find the perfect dress for an outdoor wedding, and even helped me pick out jewelry to go with my dress. I initially didn't feel confident wearing a bright colorful orange but she opened my mind to trying something new and fun. I'm so glad I found this place, and met Linda, she's the best!!

I highly recommend visiting this location if you have a special occasion coming up. I had a prom going on last minute and she was nothing but helpful! The results were amazing and she was with me almost every step of the way. Sure it's easier to come to a local shop at the mall but coming to BeMe Chic makes it your worthwhile to come, extremely attentive and help bring together everything for you. I even had some wonderful photos taken by her on the special day and she is a very good photographer! Aided with poses, lighting, angles, and well, everything! At this shop is a special care and dedication that you won't find anywhere else, absolutely no regrets here!

Wore this dress to a Luau in Hawaii last year and it was perfect FYI..it's not really supposed to be that open...I gained a little weight.

I haven't left a negative review for a business in years, and I really hate to do so about this…read moreestablishment. The clothes here are on point, and the atmosphere is really chill. The problem is coming from the most terrible customer service I have ever experienced. I picked up a pair of boots here a little over a year ago, and about 5 months in, the sole of one of Jen started to come apart. No big deal - things happen. I brought the boots in several months ago, probably early January if not earlier for repair. They said no problem, and sent it to their shop and said it would be ready in a couple weeks and that they would call me when I could pick them up. Seemed like a bit of a wait, but ok. A couple months later, I decided to call and see where they were at. "Still not ready, we will let you know." A couple weeks after that, I go into the store. You'll never guess: still not ready. I called almost a month later. Still not ready. At this point, I have had enough and ask for my boots back. They say they will have to make some calls and they will call me back within a day. A week and a half later, and I haven't heard back and now can't even get a hold of them. I paid over $300 for a pair of boots that started falling apart in less than a year, and it has taken 4 months (and counting) to repair them and now I can't even get them back or get a hold of the people at the shop. Absolutely unbelievable.

Vibes | You're in Downtown Long Beach, so there are a lot of things to do in the area, from enjoying the beach, enjoying the food scene, or enjoying artwork. The spot itself is nice. I dig it's steaze and organized arrangements. Products: They had some pretty creative and unique clothing for staying warm or looking cool. I dug their personal care products but what attracted me moreover was their candles. Great variety and scents. Customer Service: I got to meet Rich; he's a cool dude! He is friendly and knowledgeable about his stuff. TL;DR Overall: 5 Stars | I had a great experience. Reasonable prices for boutique prices and good energy. It's been a while since I last reviewed ButterScotch LBC, I think my last review was in 2020. So…read moreI'm long over due for an update. I've still been coming in to the shop about 2 to 5 times a year on average since about 2018. In fact I own all but 1 of their motel anniversary key chains at this point. I still think it's a great store, and Tommy's aesthetic and eye for detail (on the decor and hand-picked items, and colabs) is far above any other men's moto-centric fashion retailers out there. That's what makes this update hard; the main issue I currently encounter with the shop is on the customer service side. I'm likely a bit bias here as I've worked on the service side with multi-billion dollar companies for a couple of decades now and have high expectations, which I even put on myself but I don't believe they're at all unreasonable, considering the cost of the items that are sold at the shop. I'll start with a few months ago; I reached out to the ButterScotch LBC instagram account via DM (which I've done in the past without issue) and ask if they'll be stocking a new item (gloves) from a retailer which I know they've sold in the past/currently, someone reads my message (confirmed via instagram 'read/seen' verifiction) but I get zero response back from them to confirm/deny if they'll be having said item in stock...Fine, no biggie maybe someone forgot to reply, I count it as a miss on there end. Fast forward to today, I stop by at the shop at 1:10PM after about a 40-mile group ride with friends, and I was excited to introduce my riding buddies to the shop. After circling for parking (which is pretty difficult btw) I see the lights all off in the shop and the bars on the front door. Odd because I checked the site and instagram profile, and it says they are open from 1p-5p on Sundays. I also checked the stories to make sure I didn't miss any news updates about closure today, and nada. My assumption is Tommy or one of his workers is running behind on opening the shop. Not a biggie we continue the ride with my friends to BA Moto to meet up for an event and I tell them not to worry I'll DM the shop and see if maybe they're just opening later today. I messaged the shop 20 minutes later and ask if they'd be open later instead or at all today so we could swing by on the way back from our ride, and once again the message is shown as 'read/seen' but no sign of life nor response. So I had to tell my friends that I'm assuming the stores closed for the day, and we can't stop by, total missed opportunity for some new customers. So here's my dilemma, in the past I've corresponded with Tommy directly via instagram DM with zero issues, now I'm not getting any response and I'm not sure if it's because they don't like to use instagram messaging as a means of communication now if they simply don't want my buisness any more (if that's the case it's totally fine) it's just a really odd customer service experience regardless. At this point, I'd give the unqiue clothing/items a 4 out of 5, the shop decor a 4 out of ,5 and then customer service a 2 out of 5 so they land currently at a 3 out of 5 overall for me at the moment. For what it's worth, I do hope to update this to a better review at some point if the situation can ever be clarified for me.

May 22, 2024 Opens at 11 am…read more My family and I came to eat locally. The business was closed, so I took the opportunity to go window shopping, so I thought of private sneakers. I'm a huge fan of New Balance shoes, low and behold they had multiple on display, even a new style new balance I have often wondered what lies behind these closed doors. When I say closed I mean locked ! As we went to open the door. Low and behold, Manny unlocks the door! I had to ask why they were locked. Unfortunately, folks can walk in and out without paying. So doors are kept locked. Personally, I enjoyed my 40-minute shopping experience alone with my family having Manny to ourselves to ask questions regarding New Balance shoes. I may have never bought one pair, let alone two pairs, without his personal assistance. I seen these very new new balance shoes, half open grey shoes on the shelf. Manny mentioned these were their newest in store. He brought me 3 different pairs until I had the perfect fit. I'm taking them @ $150.00 Manny did the same for my mother in law. She was a bit more challenging in shoe. You see, she is petite with the smallest foot I've ever known for an adult. Manny brought several different new balance shoes. He finally brought out a 4 1/2 new balance 9060 in dark blue shoe (kids) @ $110.00. Add those to my order as well. Why I like new balance shoes they come Wide, I have a big wide foot. The stability, balance, and shock absorption. Overall, quality shoes are out the door. Overall experience with Manny and Johnny 5 stars, Atmosphere was poppin' when I was not taking photos I was dancing. The beats were great. 5 stars .

I went in on my birthday to use my $25 off on my mission for jeans that I LOVE! When I walked…read morethrough the door I was greeted by Brianna who was clearly happy I was there and eager to help. I explained to her that I was there on a mission to find jeans that fit me well. I was embarrassed to admit I wasn't even 100% my size is and I want to fix that today. Brianna seemed stoked for the task! I explained the kind of cut I think I want and she asked me to look around while she went to work on selecting sizes, styles and different washes for me. Once she had a solid line up for me I started trying them all on. Her and Chelsea came over a few times to check on my progress to see if I wanted any different colors or sizes in what was picked out for me. One of them also mentioned that with the pair I end up picking I get a free hem to help get the length just right for me! I was instantly sold on the curvy flare jeans once I knew I could get them hemmed for my short legs. Once they pinned my pants to be ready for the hemming, I checked out and they let me know when they'd be ready for pick up. A few days later I got a call they were ready and when I went to pick them up I was greeted with a smile by Brianna again! I honestly don't think I can get jeans from anywhere else after such a positive and custom experience at Madewell. I'll be back for suresies :)
