We're thrilled with how everything turned out and just wish we had done it sooner. Capistrano Electric put in an LED light above our front door and added new LED lights in the kitchen and family room. He also fixed the lighting above our staircase, which was a big relief since it used to be hard to see going down the stairs. In regards to Capistrano Electric - I emailed Michael Deantonio late Tuesday nite - close to 10:30PM and asked if he would come out to my very elderly Mom's home in San Juan on Wed. I phoned him at 8:30AM (WED) and we ball-parked between 11:00 and noon. Mike showed up - a polite and reserved young man. When talking about his fee I said - your positive reviews speak for themselves I just want a job well done for my Ma. We replaced a couple of faulty ceiling lights to go with the set of four that didn't need changing - so Mike jetted off to Home Depot and returned with a pair of lights that contrasted quite well with what we had. I am more than happy with the result and my 99 yearold Mom loves her new lights with 3X the lighting output she had before - her eyeballs are swimming with 'de'-light. The morning I called Capistrano Electric started like this. I smelled a burning odor. I know there were no fires in the immediate area. The sky rained the night before. The air was fresh outside. The smell lingered. I used the nostrils to track it. I tracked it to an area near an outlet that had a surge protector connected to it. Upon removing the surge protector, there was a flash of light, and the outlet now showed charring. Investigating further, we determined that power outlets in the nearby bathroom and upstairs stopped working. I thought, damn, this is an issue! I resorted to Yelp and submitted this issue as a project. Several electricians auto responded. Capistrano Electric was the first to humanly respond. Michael DeAntonio and I exchanged a few words describing what's going on. Within 5 minutes, we were on a phone call together discussing the issue. We spoke for 5 minutes on the phone. Michael then promptly indicated that he could be on his way to the home. I obliged. Michael appeared within 30 minutes. He was professionally dressed, mannerable, polite, courteous, caring, non-judgmental, made suggestions, and performed the repair. Michael completed the repair within minutes. He then tested the problem areas, confirming everything worked properly. He pointed out that when wired properly, the problem outlet should have been the isolated issue. It should not have affected other outlets. Michael's repair and the rewiring to ensure this problem never occurs again, were quoted at a fantastic price. We asked Michael for outdoor lighting. electric vehicle charger, and interior suggestions. He provided some good knowledge. We have another project booked as a result! I am impressed by Michael's professionalism and for going above and beyond the initial repair. He takes pride in his craft and is beyond reasonably priced. I'm excited about the next project I have booked with Michael. I am so excited that I shared his information within our company Employee Forum.
