The person who received my call was very pleasant and nice. I was able to schedule an appointment at my home for the blood draw the following morning. The person who I spoke with, Bernadeth, explained the blood draw procedure and told me she would be at my house at 8 AM the following day The following day I received a text from Bernadeth telling me that she was on her way. Bernadeth arrived at my house a little early and messaged me if it was OK to do the blood draw now. I told her it was fine. I opened the door and was met by Bernadeth who was dressed appropriately and in fresh scrubs. Bernadeth presented me with her business card and politely asked if she could come in. She entered my house and asked me if there was a place I felt comfortable for the blood draw. I directed her to my kitchen. Bernadeth was very professional, put on rubber gloves, laid out a sterile pad on my kitchen table, and explained the procedure to me. Bernadeth found a vein she liked and carefully cleansed the area where the needle was to enter my vein. Bernadeth's skill in placement of the needle was fantastic and I didn't even feel the poke nor any pain at all! After the draw, Bernadeth placed the needle in a sharps container, gathered all the equipment she had used for the blood draw, and put them into a plastic bag. Bernadeth explained the procedure for the results, thanked me, and left my house. I would like to pass on that the level of professionalism, communication, attention to detail, and sanitation and safety practices were greater than I expected. The in-home service was so convenient for me and the cost was extremely fair compared to if I had to travel to a clinic for a blood draw. Nevertheless, I highly recommend Lay Lab for any blood draw procedures you may need!

This is an incredible service for anyone who is sick, homebound, or simply unable to get what they need done at a lab. In my case, the lab actually wouldn't do the bloodwork I needed to donate a kidney, so having someone come to me made the whole process possible. Charity was professional, very communicative, and incredibly gentle and kind during the draw. She made me feel at ease and took care of everything (she came to my house, drew my blood and even took my bloodwork to FedEx for dropoff) I plan on using her services in the future not only for myself, but also for my kids. So thank you to the staff here. But if I had come in any later I doubt I would have gotten in. I had to fast for my blood testing and also this weird breath test thing I had to do. I didn't wake up and not drink even a drop of water or brush my teeth for nothing. So yes I am very thankful they let me in. Blood tests are fast. The breath test took some waiting of certain amounts of time pre and post drinking of a special drink you have to drink. Its was really easy and streamed lined and I was out very fast. I have to come back for further follow up testing and yes, I made an appointment.

As a pregnant patient, I had a fasted draw at 1:45PM because all of their morning appointments were taken for weeks out. They got me in at 2:45pm and it was like being herded like cattle - called up a handful of names and brought us inside to wait in a line for a room My phlebotomist was kind, but felt very inexperienced. When she saw how many vials she needed to fill, she got some one else to double check which did not make me feel comfortable. She missed my vein for at least 2-3 minutes and after expressing it was very painful, I had to have her remove it and ended up leaving because the pain radiates up my entire arm. It was one do the worst bloodwork experiences I've had. I've never had issues with my veins and I've even had an IV put in during transit! Esp being pregnant and having to fast for so long, on top of them not getting me in for another hour after, it was very hard to stomach. I decided to use GetLabs and pay the extra money for a phlebotomist to come to my home, which was a much better experience.

It's a convenient location with ample off street parking. The facilities are clean, well lit and comfortable. I have worked with Shawn - who is fantastic. I also had Brenda for a session - also fantastic. Both - really listen and hear what's going on and give great advice. I am a recent cancer survivor trying to deal with major changes to my body after undergoing chemo, radiation and surgery that impacted my pelvis, hips, periformis. On top of this I already had lower back issues and was developing shoulder problems as well. I could not walk 10 minutes on a treadmill without pain. Over the course of the past few months I went from not being able to walk more than 10 minutes at a slow pace on the treadmill without pain to walking 3 miles in a little over an hour without pain. Shawn has helped with my neck issues and my lower back issues by looking at my body as a whole. With some massage, stretching and prescribing exercises he has helped me rebuild strength and balance.
