My need at the moment required her to look through my multiple lab test requisitions for a few minutes during which time she maintained the nice atmosphere with appropriate "chit chat". She completed her task with professional composure then asked Dezyre to tend to my blood-drawing. I was pleasantly impressed to observe Dezyre demonstrate the same refreshing welcoming warm personality and professionalism. I'm a dermatologist, currently with a small practice in Lafayette, but formerly with a large practice, with lots of employees, etc. If I still had such a place to offer them employment, I would try to steal them from Labcorp!

The lab tech, Maryam, who was also the contact for this location, was patient, compassionate, friendly, and adept. She has since transferred to the main OMI facility. Her assistant, Lynisse, is now the current lab tech and she is also kind and professional. *Note: Call ahead to confirm if they're closed for lunch between 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.

Almost every phlebotomist I've worked with, says I'm the most difficult they have ever seen. After going into the draw station yesterday morning and having difficulty, Arina was able to come to my home this morning, and she was very prepared for the challenge. I was able to lay on my couch, she found a vein right away, she asked me a ton of questions about my work to distract me, and I didn't even feel lightheaded afterwards!! Amazing service, I will definitely be calling on Arina again for future blood draws. It's a huge relief to have finally found such a kind and caring phlebotomist.

As a pregnant patient, I had a fasted draw at 1:45PM because all of their morning appointments were taken for weeks out. They got me in at 2:45pm and it was like being herded like cattle - called up a handful of names and brought us inside to wait in a line for a room My phlebotomist was kind, but felt very inexperienced. When she saw how many vials she needed to fill, she got some one else to double check which did not make me feel comfortable. She missed my vein for at least 2-3 minutes and after expressing it was very painful, I had to have her remove it and ended up leaving because the pain radiates up my entire arm. It was one do the worst bloodwork experiences I've had. I've never had issues with my veins and I've even had an IV put in during transit! Esp being pregnant and having to fast for so long, on top of them not getting me in for another hour after, it was very hard to stomach. I decided to use GetLabs and pay the extra money for a phlebotomist to come to my home, which was a much better experience.

This is an incredible service for anyone who is sick, homebound, or simply unable to get what they need done at a lab. In my case, the lab actually wouldn't do the bloodwork I needed to donate a kidney, so having someone come to me made the whole process possible. Charity was professional, very communicative, and incredibly gentle and kind during the draw. She made me feel at ease and took care of everything (she came to my house, drew my blood and even took my bloodwork to FedEx for dropoff) I plan on using her services in the future not only for myself, but also for my kids. Having someone trustworthy and skilled come to the house is such a relief! Highly recommended.

Based on my experiences, I would definitely recommend Labcorp over the other two.

The breath test took some waiting of certain amounts of time pre and post drinking of a special drink you have to drink. Its was really easy and streamed lined and I was out very fast. I have been to this lab twice, both times I have left with significant bruising following…read morebloodwork, however my most recent visit was especially bad. After being unable to find a vein on my left arm, the tech decided to draw blood from my right arm. After struggling but finally getting the needle in my arm, the tech had trouble getting enough blood, and began to wiggle the needle around inside my arm. Not only was this painful, blood began splattering out and onto my arm. After failing to draw enough blood, the tech then tried to draw blood from my left arm, which she previously had failed to find a vein in. Expectedly, barely any blood was drawn from my left arm. Following this the tech brought in, who I assume to be their superior, who had to draw from my forearm as the normal blood drawing spots on both of my arms were now both punctured, bruising, and my right side covered in blood. The first lab techs incapability not only lead to severe bruising following this ordeal, they were quite rude. While I understand procedures such as drinking more water can help, there is absolutely no need to repeatedly blame your patient on your own inability to perform your job. A small reminder once is plenty.

Response: Lauren, I believe you failed me as the manager of this facility. After 6 months post hip replacement, your clinic failed to even do ROM tests. I was coming in twice a week for 6 months and not only was my surgeon confused with my progress, he said my hip would have worn itself out within 2 years... the new hip that supposed to last 20. Put yourself in my shoes thinking you're going to live at 60% forever. I'm finally feeling normal. How many sessions would it have taken for you to jump and intervene? 100? $10k later? Nothing to discuss.
