From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming, efficient, and attentive to my needs. The check-in process was smooth and quick, and I appreciated how clean and organized the facility was. The medical staff were knowledgeable, compassionate, and took the time to explain everything clearly. I didn't feel rushed at all, and they genuinely listened to my concerns. I had recently removed my review but I am adding it back due to the fact when I called back to ask why did they say I came in for a headache and unspecified vehicle accident when I explained to them it was work related and my job had me go there. The lady cut me off and placed me on HOLD for over 30 minutes. I had called to make an appointment and they told me to "walk in" I'm sure they saw how much pain I was in and there was barely anyone there. A man came in after me and they took him back right away. The front desk staff were friendly. When I was waiting to be seen by the Dr someone gave me a heat pack to put on my back because I was in pain. The dr said no let's get you an ice pack because of the inflammation. I would have thought that's what they would have given? Again still long wait times I should of went to my drs at John Muir but I came here because my HR person at work told me to come here read more

Horrible follow through. I was supposed to get a call about lab results - not only did they not call but I even called to ask for it and they said they would contact me but never did. Disappointed in how difficult it is to contact them even via phone - long hold times. Horrible experience, and so slow considering if people come here, it's usually for a relatively urgent reason. I came in to have my TB test results read and was told there would be no wait. However, after checking in, I waited about 5 minutes while another patient who arrived after me was helped first and received their results before I did. When I asked about the order, the staff member did not provide a clear explanation and instead had me wait an additional 10 minutes. After that, my paperwork appeared to be ready, but the staff member stood behind the counter discussing her weekend plans and delayed giving it to me for a few more minutes while pretending to be occupied. Overall, the interaction felt dismissive and unprofessional. For a simple and quick service like a TB test reading, this experience took much longer than expected and could have been handled with basic courtesy and communication. I hope the clinic improves how they manage patient flow and treats patients with more respect. DO BETTER!! read more

Arrived earlier than appointment around 3:30pm since they do state they take walk ins... still did not get seen until after 4:45pm. This is one of the few urgent care clinics my insurance covered. They take in walk ins till 8 pm I believe. I have a foot stress fracture more than likely. The doctors, x-ray tech, nurse, and all staff members are very sweet. The appointment took in total including x rays 2 hours. Quicker than the ER. The doctor gave me recommendations for local podiatrist to get a mri and follow up care. I would recommend this clinic. read more

After my UHC app and Apple maps took me to a different urgent care clinic that no longer existed, i was relieved when the staff here were very nice on the phone and in person, and i was able to get a walk in appt with only one person ahead of me on the morning of Easter Sunday. It was relatively easy to fill out paperwork on my phone after scanning a QR code rather than using a publicly used tablet or actual paper and pen. The front desk staff were also very nice in helping me find a pharmacy that was still open on Easter Sunday. Collectively we looked up/called almost 10 pharmacies. The clinical staff were also very kind, and i didnt have to wait long in my waiting room for a swab and test results. The Doctor was also very personable instead of just treating me like a number, and took the time to help me understand many different medication options and the pros/cons of each. I had a bad case of strep throat that caused enough pain to not let me sleep or have any desire to eat for the past two days. I'm already feeling much better after i got my medication. Overall, i had a great experience, and would return again for urgent care needs read more

Stat Med is awesome! Easy to get an appointment and very friendly doctors and staff. I am always impressed by their friendliness. And unlike other reviews, I've never waited more than 15 minutes, which is significantly less that JM Urgent Care or the ER. The first time I went there was to get a covid test, during covid, for my mom when she was moving into assisted living. My son had cellulitis on Easter and we were expecting 30 people over! So I took him there. So much easier than the ER. Now It became our families go to place for covid testing. Now it has become my goto place for a uti. Same day appointment? No problem! Friendly staff? Definitely! Quality care? For sure! The doctors take the time needed to provide real care, not just pop a pill kind of care. I get so frustrated that Sutter takes 4 days to prescribe an antibiotic for a uti and with John Muir, I have to go to the ER since their Urgent care is full by 10 am and my PCP can't see me for a week. Neither are acceptable for my chronic infections. But now I skip the frustration and go online to Stat Med where I make an appointment, and have a prescription within 3 hours. read more

If there were 0 stars that is what I would give them as there is absolutely nothing urgent about this urgent care clinic. Upon making an appt online I waited 45 mins pass my scheduled time to be invited in the back and another 50 mins for the doctor who never showed up. Upon checking in with the staff, medical assistant Jackie said to me that I just got there, and how Dr. Connie is the only staff member at the clinic and how she has another patient ahead of me... Wow! A place to Go when Kaiser fails! I've been here 4 times 3 with family (children & teen ) sports physical went quick , and once for myself. Each time it was quick convenient and cheap ... headed there again this morning since my sinus infection isn't going away with over the phone Kaiser method... super cool to find this place... same co pay as Kaiser ! Went to the clinic at 2:30 pm this afternoon for a Covid test. I tested positive and they told me I could go and the doctor would call me and discuss a prescription. I waited patiently till 5:00 pm before I called to follow up. Was put on hold for 15 min. They then told me the doctor was busy with other patients and they would put a note on her desk! I waited till 6:00 pm to call back. Called 5 times in a row before they answered just to be put on hold for another 15 min. I had informed them the Costco pharmacy closes at 7:00 and I need the prescription called in asap! I told them I am still a patient since the doctor hasn't called me and I take as much priority as anyone there. They hung up on me!!!!! I drove down there and demanded they get a doctor now. Oh look there's a doctor! Oh look it took all of 5 fucking minutes to talk with the doctor and get the scrip called into the pharmacy. Before I walked out I told the front desk girl that it's complete bullshit to get gaslit by the clinic and have to come back down here and force them to get the doctor when I waited a reasonable amount of time to follow up with them. On top of that it took 5 min! You're telling me the doctor couldn't pause between patients to call me back when it only took 5 min to discuss everything. They should be fucking embarrassed and ashamed of themselves! read more

Of the 3 doctors my girlfriend and I have seen here for our various issues over the past year or two, 1 was good, 1 was great, and 1 was horrible - medieval butcher levels of care, in my opinion. The horrible doctor was dealing with my girlfriend's Bartholin Cyst but very clearly had no clue what she was dealing with and asked for no assistance from her nurses, cutting into my girlfriend's sensitive areas without any care, and not even in the correct place. I had to basically beg her to actually put effort into putting a drain in because they kept repeatedly falling out and she was so dismissive of the fact that my girlfriend was suffering and had repeatedly put drains in that would fall out. We had to go back 3 days later and the next doctor we saw seemed very confused why it hadn't drained at all if it was very recently cut into. I don't know if the medieval butcher level doctor was just extremely tired, or if she was simply not well educated and unwilling to admit that she had no idea what she was doing. That said, the staff are very nice. The nurses and receptionists are kind and gentle and efficient. The two good/great doctors were very empathetic and intelligent. But when it comes to someone not knowing what they're doing in a medical situation, it is unacceptable for them to not simply say "I can't handle this" and refer elsewhere instead of actively making a situation worse - which she did. My girlfriend went from suffering, to extremely mild relief, to even worse pain. Eventually she saw a gynecologist and they said the people at the urgent care should never have acted as if they could handle it if they didn't have the tools, but that's somewhat besides the point. read more

I have used their services twice now. Highly recommend . Dr. Connie is wonderful. They accept kaiser insurance too which is great since Kaiser doesn't have an urgent care around here. So much easier to get the care you need without waiting a week to see your primary care doctor. read more

My two year old was turned away because they refused to accept his insurance. They even refused to bill me. I understand that in our country, people are not entitled to health care. Even though I had an appointment, I wasn't seen until 1 hour and 45 minutes past my appointment time. It wasn't busy, and there was only one other person in the waiting room and one patient in the back. Some of the staff had time to goof off with one another which wouldn't happen in a busy healthcare setting. This isn't something you want to experience when you aren't feeling well. The front staff treated me nicely, however, it seemed like they hated their job, or the morale was low. While they tried to keep their voices low, they could be heard complaining from the waiting area. There was one girl who had straight shoulder-length hair who was working hard and did not partake in the nonsense. She remained professional and kept herself busy. The tall, flamboyant, skinny, male with reddish-brown hair and glasses was my 'triage nurse' and he was unprofessional. A degree doesn't reflect professionalism. Trash comes in all formats and he was definitely trash. He was catty, rude, and impatient. He was rushed in obtaining my medical history which later caused mistakes when I was assessed by the physician. Then he tried to gaslight me by saying I never stated the information when I did, but I reminded him that he didn't want to hear what I had to say and kept cutting me off during triage. The nurse rolled his eyes and left the area. This nurse is incompetent and he is a lawsuit waiting to happen. People like this work in a clinical setting because they don't possess the necessary skill set to work in a real hospital setting. This subpar "nurse" works in a controlled environment but still has zero patience for patients. He was more interested in rushing to the back so he could continue talking about his personal life and future travel plans with the female X-ray tech, and I heard all of it. My medical complaints weren't properly documented and now this visit is going to be audited because it resulted in a lawsuit. This is why it's important to document everything including who you saw, what was said, what was prescribed, and what for. What tests were done and why. The medical community has broken its trust in people, especially in the last few years, so keep that in mind when choosing a treatment facility for yourself or a loved one. read more

Staff are very misinformed, we called ahead of time to ask if they are accepting our insurance and we were told "Yes" but when my wife got there she was told to call our own insurance to get authorization while waiting at the lobby, this is an urgent care facility and they should know which insurance have contract with them I've never seen an urgent care facility that operates like this. I would not recommend anyone coming to this facility if this is how they operate business. read more

Called ahead of time and were told they don't take appointments. Just walk-ins. We checked in for a simple sports physical. We paid in full upon check in and we're told the wait was about 15-20 minutes. After 45 minutes of waiting and other people going ahead of us that we're here after us. Now the waiting room is EMPTY. They called us up and told to come back in 3 hours because they were too busy! We have already paid in full and they asked us to leave and come back later! We came back and got it over with, but this is the worst run business that I've ever seen. read more

I went to the drive thru COVID test for my trip. What they sent me for me to send to the cruise line was an XML file, not a certificate. They did the swab test and told me they would call me back around 1 pm which they did. And just like the girl who did they test, I was told my my results would be posted on the portal so I could download and send to the cruise line. When I got home home 2 hours later I downloaded the document from the portal and it was not the certificate. It was an XML file. The cruise would not accept that. The website shows they are open until 5 pm on weekends so I called several times from 3:15 to 3:30 to let them know that file is not accepted nor are screen shots from the Web view, which was 10 pages long after trying to download that, but no answer. I had to get the test done again somewhere else that actually gave out real certificates. This morning I called and they told me their website hours are not correct. And that I could come in today for the certificate. It's the day before I leave. Are they crazy!!!!! Why didn't they load the certificate on the portal yesterday like they said they would!!!! They are going to charge my insurance even though I told them my insurance will not cover 2 COVID tests on the same day. If you need a same day COVID test, go elsewhere!!!!!! read more

Lets face it, you don't go to the Urgent Care because your having a great day. Most visit urgent care for an acute illness or injury, complicate that by the fact that the symptoms of many illnesses mimic those of Covid-19. In the medical care arena, I can be a tough critic. As an emergency responder and Paramedic for 29+ years that has interfaced with thousands or Doctors and Nurses in my career, I hold medical providers to a high standard. I always feel like the patients that I treat should be treated like a close relative, if this was my mom/dad/sister/brother/son/daughter, how would I want them treated. Put simply, bedside manner goes a very long way, it doesn't cost anything to be nice. I felt that the front desk staff, medical assistants, nurse, and physician were all extremely kind, patient, and overly accommodating. The whole staff made me feel comfortable, explained the care and treatment, and provided rapid test results. Bedside Manner is so important, but also the technical aspects of medical care need to be considered also. When you go to the ER, Urgent Care, or even call 911, the clinician needs to examine the patient, obtain vitals signs, then start honing in on a suspected diagnosis and treatment plan. Blood Tests, EKG's, X-Rays, vital signs are all tools to get you there. At Stat MED Urgent care they were not afraid to run several tests to determine a cause for my illness, they provided prompt results and the physician came up with a plan of treatment. Education of the patient is another important feature, and I felt like the staff and physician did their very best to explain and educate as they proceeded with the plan. I would highly recommend STAT MED at the Sun Valley Mall for non emergency care and treatment. Patients that have chest pain, shortness of breath, seizure, poisoning, stroke like symptoms, altered level of consciousness, critical trauma injuries and burns should go to their nearest emergency room or call 911. read more

This place used to be great and my go to urgent care, but recently it has gone downhill. I went in for an appointment recently, was misdiagnosed and prescribed medication that could made the condition worse. I attempted to contact them to speak with the head physician to discuss this matter and avoid having to leave this review and taking this further of the chain, but no one called me back. The physician I was treated by was obviously rushing, ignored my concerns, ran no tests and proceeded to prescribe medication that actually would've made my condition worse if I had taken it. I have never been treated in that manner by any physician. The other staff were great. I will continue to call to have this matter addressed with the urgent care directly and if I do not get a response, it will have to go beyond that. It's unfortunate because this place really used to be great !!! read more

I had an emergency sprained ankle while running and I was seen quick. Under 10 minutes. Unlike other urgent cares they have an X-RAY machine onsite. That's a major PLUS PLUS!!! The times I needed urgent care with a X-ray machine in the bay is very difficult to find. They usually send you to imaging right after that takes time. They were highly professional and the building was modern and clean. Just so you know due to Covid they have the doors locked and are triaging are the door. I would not go there if you have Covid-19 or think you have it. That's more like an ER thing that has the capacity to accept you into the hospital. I might be wrong though. I recently visited this location with my toddler in the evening without an appointment. I didn't realize you could make an appointment so I mentally prepared myself to wait for a long time (and with a sick toddler, yikes!). I was pleasantly surprised when we were seen and out the door in an hour and a half. The staff was great with my son and very thorough. My spouse and I have been using this Stat Med location for several years. We appreciate the same-day appointments and the kind, professional, and attentive staff. They take my insurance and have often filled my prescriptions right there on site, which is super convenient. Their waiting room is comfortable and spacious. They have masks and hand sanitizer available. Most recently I had a video visit with a doctor for a bad sinus infection, for which he gave me a prescription. The following day I had a drive up covid test and they called with my results (negative!) an hour later. Even though I have a pcp, coming here is usually more convenient, especially when I'm sick. One time I had to wait a while to be seen, but usually if you take the time to book a same day appointment, you won't have to wait very long. Less expensive than the emergency room and more convenient than my regular doctor...highly recommend! read more

Don't ever go here. They do not respond. I had a covid test and they said they would call with the results that day. They didn't. I needed the results for surgery I am having. I called, after waiting on hold for over 10 minutes they said I as negative and said they would send the results over email. They didn't. Waited another day and called. They didn't answer the phone. I will probably have to go there with my husband to get the results in writing. Perhaps they only respond to men. I would never use them again for ANYTHING. They are incompetent, unresponsive and obnoxious. I called their main number too and no on answered nor returned my call. There are many other choices. Try someone else. read more

I took two stars off just for the receptionist and the guy that did the discharge part! The receptionist was standing by the entrance door asking questions and filling a form. I wish they could have people with a bit of information about disease states instead of someone completely blank like her. She asked about my symptoms, so I have UTI and what are the symptoms? Frequent urinating, headache, nausea, fatigue, fever, headache, etc. Because the symptoms overlap with COVID 19, she called me high on ranking and kept asking questions like interrogating me, WHY are you fatigued? I said due to UTI. AGAIN why do you have a headache? I said due to UTI. WHY do have muscle pain? I said due to UTI!!!!!! Like she has never even read a line of medical magazines or never heard of UTI! Coming from another planet! Why would she be qualified to fill a form when she has no knowledge about disease states and symptoms? And then I met the lovely PA, everything was great up to discharge part. A guy stepped in, had me sign a paper, and discharged me and sent me home while I was supposed to receive a shot of antibiotics before leaving!!!! I said but I think I am supposed to receive a shot, he seems so confused, left the room and someone else stepped in to give me the shot! What if I had left without that shot? My whole point is that their office was almost empty and all these incidents are just due to hiring unqualified/untrained people. One patient only, two incidents, unprofessional and not good!    P.S. On my previous visit I was diagnosed wrong by Dr.Samaniego, He is such a caring lovely person. But I had UTI and he diagnosed me with sinusitis. Two days after I developed pyelonephritis and had to go to the hospital. Almost put me at risk of losing a kidney. Thank God I was alert and had a bit of knowledge in medicine. read more

Came here for the Flu shot for my 6 year old girl. We were at Walgreens, after checking multiple times/multiple locations, we finally found a location with a supply of Flu shots. Anyways, after getting there, we found out min age for it was 7. Boo. I called around and found that STAT MED did have a supply and we can walk in and get her the flu shot right away. The only downside, was they did not take our insurance for he shot so it was out of pocket, $30 for a flu shot vs. $0 at Walgreens. Quick check-ins. Found out that you can even check in online to make the process faster. The staff was friend and they made us feel welcome. It was Saturday morning, so it was not very busy and we were in and out within 30 mins. All smiles from us. read more
