    Pastor tacos
    Jan C.

When they first opened I said wouldn't be back. Well we have been back several times. The food is delicious. We had the pastor taco's and pastor tostada. The flavor was excellent. My husband leaves off the cilantro. The meat was tender and not burnt. I appreciate the free chips and salsa. They have their fountain drink machine in now and yes you can get water. The lady working there is always warm and very friendly. I can now recommend eating here.

This place is a hidden treasure. The torta ahogada was exceptional, the birria pizza was delicate and delicious (not greasy or fatty) and the quality of the shrimp in the quesadilla was perfection. This place deserves all the praise it gets. Pleasant service as well.

Always love coming here. Salsa bar is my favorite! The service is top notch. Only thing I would change is less sour cream on the food but next time I'll order in the side

Today was their opening day in Paso Robles! I was already a fan of their restaurant in Atascadero, but now very thrilled that the same quality of food and service is walking distance from my home. Check out the pictures of the food we ordered. It's our new favorite place for Mexican food.

Ordered the carnitas super burrito. Delicious. Was already a fan of the Atascadero location and happy they expanded to Paso Robles. Chips and salsa bar complimentary with food purchase.

We were passing through Passa Robles and we were looking for a good place for authentic tacos. This is a rather new business which from the good reviews, we decided to give it a try. All the great reviews before us are absolutely true. This place has amazing, high quality, delicious tacos. We will aim to always stop here on our way to SoCal or back.

Very good carntias burrito, lots of indoor seating with a few outdoor seats, friendly staff. It's a very relaxed location and popular.

Excellent shrimp burrito at a little cafe in a strip mall. Mexican coke, fresh salsas & unlimited chips - what's not to love?

They also fry the tortillas a little bit which is always a touch I appreciate. The birria ramen was amazing. Hot (not spicy) filling, and super flavorful. The birria was tender and juicy. I kept expecting to get to only broth, but kept getting pleasantly surprised to find more ramen. The cooking area looked very clean. The seating area was clean too but I noticed a few stains on the table I sat at. Minor nitpick. I was getting takeout anyway so it wasn't a problem. I will definitely become a regular. If for whatever reason the food doesn't sit well, I'll update my review!

It was sprinkling that day and this patio area was covered but had openings. So I had to get a hoodie and blankets to stay warm. We were the only ones there so surprised that it took awhile but I'll wait for good food. We started with chips and salsa, which were really crispy and freshly made. They also gave us a tray of three sauces and napkins. We ordered a carne asada quesadilla. Great portion and not light on the meat. We also had kiss Siberia plates three of those and we shared this came with five Quesabirria tacos. I'd say about the size of a street taco it came with of course the consume. It was delicious crispy lots of meat. My daughter got the kids quesadilla also a nice serving we drank water, but my one son got Horchata and that was fire.

Not knowing where to eat on Good Friday, we decided to try a small hole-in-the-wall spot after…read morereading several positive reviews. There are a few things worth noting. First, the restaurant is quite small with a very quiet atmosphere--surprisingly so, especially with a jukebox that wasn't in use. The space didn't feel particularly clean, and the chairs were outdated and could definitely use some refurbishing. When we received the menus, I was honestly shocked by the prices. This is something I wish more reviewers had mentioned. We ordered a shrimp tostada (about $13) and shrimp fajitas (around $24). The shrimp tostada was disappointing--the shrimp was chopped so finely that it was hard to tell it was even there. It was overwhelmed by cucumber, tomato, and cilantro. The fajitas were similarly underwhelming: the shrimp were cut in half and curled up, with maybe around ten pieces total, but there was an excessive amount of large-cut onions and bell peppers, which made the dish less enjoyable. On the positive side, the staff was friendly, and the horchata we ordered was excellent. I did mention that the bell peppers were overabundant and cut too thick, but my feedback didn't seem to go anywhere. One concern I had was seeing staff handle multiple tasks--taking payments, cleaning tables, and serving food--without ever noticing handwashing, which was a bit off-putting. I'm not completely writing this place off, as I'd like to return and try their breakfast. Most reviews are positive, so perhaps this was just an off night. Still, given today's prices, I expect the quality to match. Beans were bland and rice was cold, I'm sure made way ahead of time. I'll update my thoughts after a second visit--judge for yourself in the meantime.

I had the short rib taco, which was really good, but the Ahi Crudo was definitely my favorite. Lily was very knowledgeable about the menu and recommended some local beers, which convinced me to try something different, and I have no regrets. The food and drinks were excellent. As someone who has worked in the restaurant industry for over two decades, I have to say I was very impressed by the service from the entire staff, from the moment I approached the host stand to the moment I left. It truly felt like everyone paid attention to detail. Lily's service was outstanding. I hope to come back soon and try some of the main dishes.

Hannah is a wonderful server who went above and beyond , thank you! Casual atmosphere for sure. We ordered the ceviche for our appetizer, messy but so good. Nice pieces of shrimp in this dish. For dinner I ordered the tacos, two carnitas and two of the short rib. Omg these were so delicious, I was licking my fingers after. The meats were juicy and tender and the toppings put them on cloud 9. My husband ordered the carne asada , meat was sooo tender, it came with mashed potatoes and sautéed veggies. Sooo good also! We ordered a side of rice and beans , plenty for two people to share. Since we were celebrating my birthday , I received a wonderful birthday dessert and shot. The dessert was a chocolate tres leches cake, which was so moist. The shot made this birthday extra phenomenal!

Tucked into the corner of a Starbucks location, this cute little spot is small but super inviting--and definitely lives up to the hype. As soon as we walked in, the place was clean and filled with the delicious smell of spices and fresh food. I ordered the chilaquiles (not listed on the menu, but they'll make it for you with your choice of meat or traditional eggs for the same price). I went with chili verde, and wow--I was not disappointed. It was loaded with meat, sauce, cheese, cilantro, onion, and sour cream. Absolutely worth the $13, and I'd 100% order it again--next time with al pastor! We also tried the chicken enchilada plate ($13), which was just as good. Great flavor, the perfect amount of sauce and cheese, and it came with rice and beans on the side. For drinks, they've got a wide selection, including alcoholic options. I grabbed a Jarritos--just a heads up, they're $3.50 each, a bit pricey, but ice cold and refreshing. Overall, this place was a hit for us. The waitress, Erma, was friendly, polite, and attentive--which, let's be honest, isn't always easy to find. The restaurant is clean, has plenty of seating, and judging by the steady flow of customers, it's definitely no secret anymore! Give it a try and see for yourself--I'm pretty sure you'll love it too.
