The restaurant was open until 9pm. We arrived about 15 mins before they were closing. We asked if we could place an order to go and the guest representative at the front counter was friendly and accommodating. One of the individuals, who was working in the kitchen, was not as friendly toward the idea. That person made it obvious that they were not really in favor of taking an order at that time. This despite that we ordered off the menu of available items (already made and not requiring kitchen service). The location was clean and our food was quickly assembled and we left and ate at our hotel, We are fans of La Madeline and they met our expectations in every way - even if the one person did have a bit of a bad attitude. Kudos to the rest of the team for keeping on going with great customer service - and I hope the kitchen attendant was just having an off day and they will be better tomorrow!

Very disappointed with the quality of food at LaMadeline Grapevine, Tx today. The bread was stale and we got 3 slices for 2 people. I was not impressed with the chicken lamadeline. Broccoli was cold and flavorless. Did not care for the rice it came with. I did not like the flavor of the mushroom sauce on the chicken. The ham and cheese sandwich was not very good. Bread was cooked so hard you'd have to have beaver teeth to cut through it. LaMadeline used to be so delicious. Lately their quality has really suffered. We will try again another day. Maybe it's just a bad day for the chef. The mango and sweet teas were really good. The strawberry rhubarb spread was great. I considered a chocolate eclair and even those did not look appetizing. Establishment was clean, silver ware and glasses were clean. Restroom was clean. You can see the attached photo how much food was left on the table and for a tab that was $34 I just expected quality food/experience.

Fireplace

Great service tonight. This is a favorite for my mom and I. They didn't have the fire on probably due to warmer weather but quickly got it on when we requested. Food was wonderful. Love coming here! The fire is my favorite. Don't understand all the bad reviews.

I've never wished for a 0 star option for a rating until today. La Madeline is nothing like it was. This place was dirty, food poor quality and service was lacking any type of personality or welcoming nature. I took two bites of the chicken friand and knew I was going to be sick and now I am. Food has no flavor and tasted left out and old. Such a disappointment. Will tell all the Yelp folks to skip this one!

Usual shit from this company. " Bonjour" sorry to hear about your experience, yadda yadda Go to the website fill in the form then never hear anything back. Twice they've done this to me. Clearly this company doesn't give a shit about their customer service or the state of their restaurants. Shove your " Bonjour" where the sun doesn't shine

Almond croissant warmed up. So tasty I took a bite before taking a picture.

Seriously, I'm not sure why anyone would eat breakfast anywhere except here, in Grapevine. The only…read morereason I can think of not to, is they are so good, sometimes there's wait time to get a table. Oddly, to me, there was a survey where a different breakfast place won the award as best place in Grapevine. No chance, I've eaten there, and you get twice as much food here for the same price, and what you get is of a higher quality, here. The other restaurant, I asked for salsa, and got a tiny little cup, which they charged me a dollar for. If you look at the picture, the wild west omelette comes with two large sauces, and I asked for another, and it was at no charge. The wild west omelette, is huge, I took a picture with a fork laying next to just so you can see how big it is. It's a four egg omelette loaded with four kinds of meat, hashbrowns and several vegetables, to include jalapeño peppers. It comes with two sides, of your choice. The service is great, with nothing but friendly folks! The atmosphere lives up to the name, it's an old West feel, well-maintained! We will absolutely be back, suggest you read my last review as it has a few other points in it that I did not make here. Highly recommend this place over all others in Grapevine for breakfast!

You can tell when a place has good management, and this definitely felt like one of those places with both great leadership and amazing staff. And the food was great! I ordered the breakfast burrito and chose wisely my four fixing, bacon, sausage, hash brown, and cheddar. It's really not expensive and it truly filled me up. We also tried biscuit and gravy and a stunning omelette. The restaurant was packed when we arrived, but the system was incredibly well organized. We left our name and phone number at the door and received a text letting us know our table was ready in less than five minutes!

I arrived during the lunch rush, and both the parking lot and the restaurant were packed. Even though they were extremely busy, we were immediately greeted by a courteous and polite young man who quickly escorted us to a booth. We were seated in Ms. Maria's section, and she was a wonderful server. She greeted us with a warm smile, brought us menus along with the lunch menu, chips and salsa, and promptly served our water. She gave us plenty of time to look over the menu and was friendly, attentive, and very courteous throughout our meal. The chips and salsa were very good. My only suggestion would be to offer a salsa without cilantro for those who prefer it. We ordered the Create Your Own Combo Plate, which included a chicken flauta, a crispy taco, rice, and refried beans topped with cheese for $15.50. The taco was perfectly crispy and well seasoned, while the chicken flauta was covered in a flavorful red chile sauce that had just the right amount of heat. The rice and refried beans were seasoned perfectly and complemented the meal well. We also ordered the chimichanga, smothered in cheese sauce and served with rice and refried beans, for $16.00. It was well seasoned, delicious, and satisfying. The flavors weren't overpowering--they were balanced and enjoyable, making it a dish I would gladly order again. This was my first visit to Mi Dia From Scratch, and I came away very impressed. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was lively, and the restaurant also offers a nice outdoor seating area. Between the excellent service and flavorful food, I will definitely be back. I hope you'll give it a try too!

I also noticed the bakery is connected to Chez Fabien, with a kitchen in the back and delicious-looking food passing through. That's definitely another spot I'd like to check out. I met there with friends and we each had something different. The waffles looked fluffy and stacked. I had the avocado toast-added eggs over medium and bacon. Generous spread of avocado on just right textured brown bread-not too thick or thin-or soggy-could handle the toppings.the bacon was crispy and crumbled over the avocado. The eggs-medium-perfect!!! It was served with a small arugula and cherry tomato salad!! YUM!! One friend had the lemon ricotta pancakes which were not as tasty as she expected. The la Parisian breakfast-scrambled eggs, bacon, home fries, and a huge croissant was delish. Large Bacon slices and nicely scrambled eggs-very nice. The mimosas were generous and served with a strawberry garnish-we had the pomegranate. Very refreshing and did I mention generous!! The coffee was replenished without prompting. The surrounding area is charming and enjoyable to walk around. Our server, Macy, made some excellent recommendations, and everything we tried was delicious. What really made this place stand out, though, was the exceptional attentiveness from the entire team. It wasn't just Macy; staff members regularly came by to refill our water, add ice, and refresh our cold-brewed tea. The manager herself stopped by several times to make sure our drinks were topped up and that everything was going well. That level of genuine care makes such a difference. It's the kind of service that makes you want to come back again and again and eventually make a place your local favorite. The portions are also huge Our server was wonderful from start to finish. He was friendly, attentive, and checked on us often without being overbearing. The service was honestly the best part of the experience. We started with the Sichuan calamari, and this was easily the highlight of the meal. It was perfectly crispy, the glaze had just the right amount of sweetness and heat, and the seasoning gave it a nice kick without overpowering the calamari. It was one of the best calamari dishes I've had and definitely raised my expectations for everything that followed. Next was the tenderloin bruschetta, and unfortunately this one just didn't work for me. The flavors didn't come together, and it was much saltier than it needed to be. It felt like there were too many things happening on the plate without much balance. I wouldn't order it again. For the entrées, the Chilean Sea Bass was very good. The fish was flaky and cooked well, the risotto was creamy, and the sauce brought everything together without being too heavy. It was one of the stronger dishes we ordered. The lobster stuffed ravioli was another solid choice. The filling was generous, there was plenty of lobster on top, and the vodka sauce complemented everything nicely without taking over. It was rich but still well balanced. We also tried the New Zealand rack of lamb. This one had mixed reviews at our table. It wasn't as tender as I was hoping, but I didn't dislike it and again I didn't love it! The blackened exterior and the wine reduction gave it good flavor, but it just wasn't particularly memorable. My favorite entrée ended up being the tomahawk pork chop. The pork itself was juicy, flavorful, and cooked really well. I wasn't a huge fan of the pineapple bourbon glaze since I didn't think it added much to the dish, but the quality of the meat made up for it. We also had the strawberry spinach salad, which was fresh and a nice lighter option alongside all the richer dishes. Then there was also a side dish with green beans and almond and again no complains there. Overall, I left feeling a little conflicted. The service was outstanding, the atmosphere was great, and the portions were very generous. The food itself was a mix of really good dishes and others that completely missed the mark. After such an incredible start with the calamari, I expected the rest of the meal to be on the same level, but it just never got there. I'm glad we tried it, but I don't think it's a place I'd rush back to.
