I will never consume food (if you can call it that) from La Madeleine again after discovering the ingredients! I am so shocked. I have been a La Madeleine customer for 30 years, our family mainly going for special occasions, especially breakfast, and ordering a whole Sachertorte cake for birthdays had become a tradition. Yesterday (3/15/26) I was going to order one and for some reason decided to look up the ingredients and couldn't believe what I discovered. I've always considered La Madeleine a 'home cooking' kind of place. Wow, look at what's in the Sachertorte which is just chocolate cake, raspberry, and a ganache top (should be 8-10 ingredients max). And all those dyes, why? Im a baker and can guarantee that 2/3 of these ingredients are completely unnecessary and many have been proven to be harmful to your health! I no longer trust anything they make. Came here for dinner for the first time and was honestly impressed. La Madeleine is essentially a French version of Panera. Food here is solid and service was great as well. Only complaint was that my food did not come over very hot. read more

Walked in today 7/1 at 8:52 since it said they closed at 9:30pm. Party of 6. Walked in they had everything completely off the line nothing ready to be served, but the first thing we noticed was one of the "cooks" in the back saw us come in and his face said it all. Rolled eyes, tilted head back and then walked off. We asked if they closed at 9 or 9:30 the foh lady said they close at 9:30 but that our orders had to be placed to go. We just ended up leaving. The cookies were delicious. I did not start off with a very good experience. There was some miscommunication and trying to be helpful that didn't go the way I expected. I asked to talk to the manager and she gave us a refund immediately and gave us free cookies. Lunchtime on a Sunday: 1.) I tried to order the pick 3 lunch with quiche florentine. They said they didn't have any quiche florentine. Never in my life has this happened at a LaMadeline restaurant 2.). Ordered French Toast breakfast. French toast was burnt 3.) Server slapped down the plates in front of us and dashed off immediately. Having just had dental surgery, my food choice was VERY limited. Monique identified the treat that met my dietary specifications, so very kindly; she was very sympathetic to my situation. Located in the large shopping complex with plenty of parkings, this French themed cafe has decent choice of comfort food. Along with hot beverages, pastries, the place also has many options for soups, sandwiches, pastas and crepes. They have plenty of seating both in patio and inside. Just went in for lunch after being at the mall. Arrived at around 1:45 to order some tomato soup and quiches along with some bread. The young girl behind the counter was beyond rude and we end up canceling our order and walking out. Every item we asked for she just glanced over and say nope we don't have that. Instead of saying it will just be a few minute wait or just one second let me go check in the kitchen. This is the exact reason so many businesses go out of business. It wasn't the fact they were out of food it was that she didn't care and find a respectful way to just say we will have to wait. I'm not sure why this restaurant is marked lower, but my experience today was very good. It's a nice-looking cafe. It is set up with both indoor and outdoor seating that is appealing to the eye. The service was excellent from the ordering until I got my food. The cashier explained my options when I ordered, and the food arrived at my table within 10 minutes. I ordered the Chicken La Madeline with 2 sides plus a small salad and an iced tea. The chicken was cut and tender. The broccoli was steamed. The green beans were Sautéed with bacon and almonds. Both the broccoli and the green beans were crisp and fresh. My side salad was tasty as well. The iced tea was fresh and did not have an after taste as tea gets after sitting too long. The cafe offers specialty coffees as well as pastries for the sweet tooth. The prices are fairly reasonable as well. So, if you have not been to La Madeline's, I think you should try it. I hope someone who works there sees this and makes sure stuff like this doesn't happen again. I've been to many La Madeleine locations over the last decade and have always had a consistent experience, until this location. We walked in during dinner time and it was a ghost town at the counter, it took over 5 minutes for the lady behind the counter to pay us any mind as she was putting away dishes. Which is fine if she was busy, but at least acknowledge that we are there instead of just looking at us and then completely ignoring us without saying a single word. Then we went to order and they were out of basically everything behind the counter. That's also okay, but there is a certain way to speak to customers and this place doesn't get it. Finally we were the only ones in the cafe, literally, and it took 20 minutes to get our food that came out soggy and luke warm... this location is horrible and the staff just does not care. The store is also super dirty and there was trash all over the floors. Very disappointing experience that is not consistent with the la Madeleine brand. read more

I LOVE this French restaurant. It's become my favorite go to cafe for several reasons. First of all, the staff there are the nicest, sweetest people you'll ever encounter when eating out. For a restaurant that starts out as cafeteria style, once the food is delivered to your table you realize you're in an extremely upscale restaurant. The wait staff is attentive and they are always available to tend to your every need. But for me, the jewel in the crown is their iced mochas. If you want the best iced mocha ever, just ask for Adrian. Adrian makes the most delicious iced mochas I've ever had. I will stop there on my way home and he will whip me up the most amazing, refreshing iced mocha I've ever tasted for my 45 drive home to Georgetown. If I caught something that small, it makes you wonder what you're not seeing. Hygiene clearly isn't a priority here. I've been ordering delivery from them for a couple of years now and I'm surprised at the difference in experience! The only time they've fallen short for me was when they had sold out off the Linzer Cookies (which are to DIE FOR) and forgot to refund. I'd particularly recommend their all-day breakfast items like the Country French Breakfast (the potato galette is fantastic) and the Croque Madame. Outside of the breakfast menu, the Chicken La Madeline and Friand are both solid choices that are light on the stomach. The Chicken Parisian and Croque Monsieur can be a bit dry, but hey, no one is perfect. A bit of sauce or butter fixes them right up. Oh, and definitely don't forget the bakery! Holy cow they've got amazing desserts. I have to hold myself back to just one every time. As a particular fan of Creme Brulee, I can say their Caramel Creme Brule is top notch and the other desserts like the parfaits and cheesecake don't fall too far behind. read more
