LA Crawfish is a staple for Asian style crawfish in Houston. This location is located inside an Asian grocery store, but there is plenty of seating. So if you want to eat before or after you shop, or even just stop by for this specific food like we did, it's a great location. The pho and magic Cajun rice are UNMATCHED. So flavorful, comforting, with great portion sizes! The crawfish is was good. Not the best I've had from here, it was a bit salty and overly garlicky but in general this restaurant is one of my go tos

Called in and ordered their wing and rice combo. It was ready very quickly. Picked it up and their servers are always very kind. The ambiance this location is located inside ranch market but still a pleasant ambiance and plenty seating. I ordered the sweet and spicy wings and they were very good! The rice is amazing some of the best I've had in Houston

I have not been here in about 10 years and now I remember why.. The garlic butter flavor was good however, The crawfish were 98% mushy texture.. I had maybe 3 single crawfish out of 3 lbs that were ok texture..This means they were dead before they were cooked. The shrimps inside the Po boy were good and the toast on the garlic bread was good as well but the sauce they put in the sandwich was in my opinion NOT tasty.. The Po boy did NOT have lettuce in it. The seasoned waffle fries were decent.. Overall the food was nothing special today..

So disappointed, I'm so surprised! The flavor was the only thing that was good, but the crawfish were extremely small and they were $10.99/lb. They weren't that friendly, but I guess because it's byob...they don't have to be! It's been a while since I've been here and it did not meet my expectations.

$30 a pound for snow crab and this is what they give me. Inedible moldy crab legs, disgusting! Never again!

I took the magic Cajun rice with chicken and shrimp to go and despite it being ready quick it was a little flavorless and the chicken was very dry. Lots of space on the inside of the restaurant with many customers but from this dish alone I wouldn't come back.

Thai Tamarind Wings: Slightly sweet, very flavorful and delicious!

I only had the wings here, but after my experience, I feel that they should rebrand as LA Wings, Wings, and Wings! For as long as I've known my bf, he's raved about their wings, and now I finally see the light. All of the wings are HUGE and MOIST!! You can tell they're really good quality wings and they're perfectly cooked! They come in 6 or 12 counts, and as someone who usually eats around 10-12 at other establishments (with smaller wings), 6 wings here filled me up! I got 12 wings, and I had to refrigerate half because I was stuffed!! TAIWAN FIVE-SPICE BASIL: This is my bf's favorite wing flavor! If it was the only wing flavor he could eat for the rest of his life, he'd be ecstatic. He finally converted me. Out of the four flavors we got on this trip, this was my favorite! It was perfectly seasoned and left you wanting more of its complex flavor. JALAPEÑO ONION: I was very pleasantly surprised by this one. I would normally *never* order this in a million years because I really do not like jalapeño flavor and am pretty sensitive to it. I tried this out though because my bf got it and it was actually really tasty! The jalapeño flavor was very mild, in a way I've never experienced before, but still very tasty. I actually wouldn't mind eating these again, which is a huge compliment lol THAI TAMARIND: My bf and I agreed this was our second favorite flavor of the four. I have no idea what tamarind is supposed to taste like, and a quick Google search didn't help much, but this was definitely delicious! It was very flavorful, kinda sweet, came sauced instead of dry, and is definitely worth trying! SPICY GARLIC: I enjoyed this one, but it didn't taste spicy or like garlic. It tasted ambiguously seasoned. I considered the possibility that the garlic flavoring or the spice was accidentally left out, but it was still good so I didn't stress too much, just a tiny bit disappointed because I love and was expecting garlic.

Awesome empanadas. They are delicious. And the sauce is so flavorful. This location is usually very busy and popular. Glad I came during off-peak hours

Stopped by just for a quick dinner because this was in the closest Asian grocery store near us. Service was great, very helpful. The food was just okay. I like that they have a food challenge you can see the winners of on their wall. I had the shrimp poboy which was disappointing. I thought it came with a side of fries but the fries were in the sandwich and ended up soggy. The shrimp tasted vaguely sweet. There was no cabbage/slaw that I typically associate with poboys. The pho was good. I'd recommend that. The cajun fried rice was salty and really oily. It was hard to stomach because of the oil and salt. We took it home and tried to leave the oil out, which left a noticeable puddle in the bowl.

The servers were equally impressive: attentive, warm, welcoming, and very considerate. And the food? OUTSTANDING. Most of the passed appetizers were delicious. We both thought the one we didn't prefer (carrot) had too much lemon. The bread service was lovely as well. The remaining four courses were truly stellar... crawfish toast was savory and complex. The fish course was fresh and bright. The Wagyu was impossibly velvety tender and seasoned beautifully. The showstopper Baked Alaska was an over-the-top ending - sweet, creamy, and delicious - to a truly remarkable evening. Bravo! I had actually never heard of Latuli prior to this event, and, based on our experience, I will definitely be back.

I like to write honest reviews and the reason why this one is so hard is because if I went on service alone, it would be at least 4 to 5 stars. But most of my reviews are about the food, and because of that, the best I could do is 2 stars. I do also want to mention the atmosphere. When we entered the strong fish smell was off putting. It was very strong, so bad that I should have left after the smell almost pushed me back out of the door. But I've been here before and it wasn't bad, and I was really craving some seafood to, I ignored that smell. For appetizers we ordered Shrimp Empanadas Crispy pastries packed with our classic shrimp and creole vegetables. They were eh. I mean, I ate one and that was really all I could do. My friend ate the other ones. For dinner I ordered red fish. It was NOT good at all. Had a strong fishy flavor that I don't like at all. I also didn't eat that. After having such a bad dinner experience we decided to go else where for dessert, and I am glad that we did. I would love for this to be a great seafood place because its close to me. But they've never really impressed me, and this last visit was the worst one.

The Pasta Rosa dish had sliced Parmesan strips on top of penne with shrimp, crawfish and sausage for the protein with mushrooms and a tomato cream sauce. This meal initially tricked me. My first impression was that while there was plenty of protein the taste of the tomato cream sauce was lacking some flavor. I expected more. However as I kept eating and getting beyond the top layer of the food the flavor increased significantly. I think that the proteins caused the sauce in the lower half of the dish to create more punch. This dish got better and better and I changed my mind. I'm not usually a Buffalo sauce type person, but their shrimp with their sauce is the bomb! The shrimp are large, so the entree is great for splitting. The Gulf Wedge has crab meat, bacon, grape tomatoes, and a hardboiled egg. It also comes with red onion and blue cheese crumbs, but I do not like either of those, so I had those removed from my half.
