The first thing that stands out is the massive, beautifully maintained outdoor seating area. It's covered, pet-friendly, and thoughtfully designed with fireplaces and privacy walls that give each table a more intimate feel. There's even an outdoor bar where you can grab a drink while you wait or just enjoy the atmosphere. Inside, the décor is incredibly creative. Butcher knives and custom cutting boards line the walls, and the open kitchen showcases hanging meats so you can see everything in action. The bakery area adds another layer of charm, with rolling pins and whisks hanging from the ceiling, it all feels intentional and immersive without being over the top. The menu is just as fun and different as the space itself. I started with the Sicilian wedge and then had to go for what they're known for, the handcrafted meatballs. You can mix and match meatballs with different pastas, but the real showstopper is the "meatball carousel." It lets you sample multiple meatballs with their recommended sauces, all presented on an elaborate Ferris wheel-style display that turns heads across the restaurant. It's a full experience, not just a meal. Everything we tried was absolutely delicious. What truly made the night, though, was our server, Mia. She struck that perfect balance of fun and professional, engaging, attentive, and genuinely enjoyable to interact with. She guided us through the menu, made great recommendations, and brought a level of energy that elevated the entire experience. You can tell she takes pride in what she does, and it shows. For dessert, we went with the traditional Sicilian cannoli stuffed with Nutella and a lemon tart that was so good I'd honestly consider flying back just to have it again. This place delivers on every level, atmosphere, creativity, food, and service. I'll absolutely be making this a regular stop anytime I'm in Phoenix.

Comfortable, sorta on the dark side. Classy. As I was not driving today, I decided to try their smoked Old Fashioned. Excellent -- and the dark cherries they use are the perfect addition to the cocktail. (The glass is coated with smoke from a smoldering piece of pecan wood, and the cocktail was served with a cloud of smoke under a coaster covering the glass.) The pig sickles ( ribs) were the perfect chance to make a pig of myself. Had the two meat plate, pig sickles and barbecued pulled chicken, If you like corn, you must have the side of corn with your dinner. The barbecue beans were delicious. Our server did a magnificent job tending to our drinks, appetizer, and food orders -- despite being very busy (the place was packed! -- and seemed like she was in constant motion. Very nice individual who liked la Prices? It was expensive, but the best barbecue always is. Eating isn't cheap. It was well worth every dollar spent. All in all, it was a perfect dinner. The perfect parting gift: a small paper bag containing four small donuts, coated with cinnamon. Our bag didn't make it home... I think we've found the perfect place to bring our family and out-of-town guests for dinner.

I ordered hot sake and it did not disappoint. My daughter got a Ramune, miso soup, and shrimp tempura roll. No complaints! Miso soup was missing tofu that day. Apparently they were all out. Nevertheless the soup was very nice! I got two specialty rolls. The names escape me at the moment. The menu doesn't have a huge selection of rolls but I found what I like and both were VERY good! Good amount of fish vs rice. Everyone is very attentive. Service is very good. The ambiance is interesting :) nothing fancy but not too bland either. There are full moon/moon related decorations. The rolls are also named with the Moon theme in mind. Overall very nice and we will be back to try their ramen !

It was quiet and there was just one server taking care of the tables (Caleb). He was friendly and gave us time to catch up and look over the menu before ordering. I ordered the veggie gyoza and the sweet potato roll. Friend got the Moonlight and the Philly. I was so hungry I forgot to take a pic of the gyoza, but it was perfect. Nice and crispy shell and packed with veggies, and the dipping sauce was the perfect compliment. The sweet potato roll was delicious & I liked that it had some avocado and crispy crunch pieces inside. Would definitely get that again! Good hit the spot, service was good, and the restaurant was quiet and chill for us to have a nice girl's dinner to catch up!

Traditional sushi does not have lettuce...bad sushi places and grocery stores use lettuce. Second, the head chef seems to have let an apprentice take on the omakase. This completely changes the experience. I don't like the cheese on sushi and having it served by a backup guy just doesn't do it. Used to love this place but questioning their direction. Great news, they have replaced the lettuce with cucumber! Maybe chef got some negative feedback.

We asked about the fish of the day and special fish which happened to be the same, mackerel, the day we went. Interestingly, the servers had no idea about the fish aspects of the menu and everything was deferred to the sushi chefs. Ordered a few temaki (hand rolls) - yellowtail and spicy tuna- and they were tasty! All the nigiri we ordered were fresh without fishiness, and had generous portions for the price. Nice to have fresh wasabi which had a nice kick and sweetness. Thoroughly enjoyed these nigiri: seared black cod, ocean trout, hamachi/yellowtail, unagi. Yuzu & rainbow rolls had super appetizing sauces. Ordered the uni from Japan which was supposed to be sweeter than creamier but this one was very distasteful for me, had a strong scent like saliva, and I was unable to tolerate it.

It took like 20 min before they ordered drinks and 30 min plus before drinks were delivered! Crazy right? The first visit I got the burger and fries and it was delicious. The second time I got a steak medium well and loaded baked potato and the potato was very dry (like an older potato that was on its way out) and although I loved the overall flavor of the steak I had to eat around the edges only and avoided the center because not only wasn't it medium w no pink it was red! Also it had gristle and fat. For $44 it was a waste of good meat and I'm not one to ask a cook to throw it back in the grill when they should know how to produce different levels of cooked steak. The ambiance is a chill dim lit vibe and easy for conversations so that was great! The bathrooms are clean and smell good. Great mirror lighting too. But the front layout is odd, the hostess stand is right there so everyone crams in front of door and there's no barrier to the first large table so you're like staring at the poor people eating at that first long table lol! I think they need to switch up the entry layout and put up a half wall or decorative situation to tuck away that table a bit too. Just my two cents. Overall, I'd go again but it would be really nice if management saw this and trained staff on how to greet table sooner, take drink orders, and deliver said drinks timely for a more pleasant dining experience.
