I came here with couple friends after work, ( recommended by my coworker who lives nearby). It was a hike for me because I work and live in north Scottsdale, but it was worth it! The food were definitely one of the most authentic Mexican food that I ever have in a long time. I wish this restaurant is closer to my house, so I can come here often. Service was good and the ambiance was good. They have live music on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. My only negative about this place was that the sounds system was way too loud. I will definitely comeback next time on different nights or for lunch when there is no live music LOL Gracias!

So I first found out about this restaurant through Grubhub... major Ceviche craving so I ordered through them & what to my wondering eyes should appear but they offer it up to 1lb & I ordered it.... Fresh & flavorful my new Ceviche go to... So I told my foodie husband Joe about it & he was like let's try the restaurant he ordered the fruit Ceviche & I ordered the regular Ceviche... I taste tested his life changing.... A few days later I ordered fruit Ceviche for delivery...we also ordered the Micheladas be careful when ordering the supreme Michelada it is really supreme (excellent service very authentic)

This definitely made it to the #1 spot for ceviches!! The citrus flavor in the perfectly cooked shrimp is so delicious. Won't be long before I am back.

Food was the most authentic mexican Sea Food I have had here in Phoenix. Agua Chile was very juicy and flavorful. Service is great, and ambiance was perfect, live music was there when I went. Can't wait to go back!

This was a great experience at a seafood restaurant with live music! The food was great! We did point out , however, that everything we ordered was pretty much the same thing served in a different manner and one different ingredient. Haha We enjoyed the experience although I believe it to be a bit overpriced. The waitress was pleasant and prompt, though she disappeared for a bit at the end while we waited for more drinks and finished our food.

La Botana excites all of my senses. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by one of the several beautiful female waitresses. I remember the first time walking in looking around at all the smiling faces, colorful food and drinks and feeling extra happy just being there. Doesn't matter the day of the week you go, you will either hear the juke box playing Spanish music or a one man or group singing and playing music with instruments. The environment is one to enjoy with fresh seafood and cold drinks. The shrimp ceviche tostadas are a must. It's a perfect blend of freshness, crunch and tangy flavor. The tacos are always warm with cheese and the salsas are home made with a hint of spice. I noticed the bottle of mayo and hoisin sauce and it seemed peculiar at the time, until I scoured my tostada with it. I love mayo so it was a no brainer to try. Whoa! I had been missing out! I have yet to try a dish I haven't liked. The shrimp cocktail, fish tacos and oysters are a few of my favorites also. You must not leave without having a michelada. What in the world do they use as their mix?! It's one of the tastiest I've ever had. Mix it with your favorite beer and you'll thank me later. I visit Arizona because my best friend of twenty something years moved away here. She always knows that La Botana is a must for me. Try it, you'll like it. Great service, amazing seafood and chill vibes!

Came on a Sunday mind afternoon hoping to miss the rush. The place was packed; all tables were taken. Thankfully, we were able to be seated really fast. So we ordered their cóctel de camarón and camarones al mojo de ajo. The coctel had good flavor and it was pretty tasty the camarones al mojo on the other side were flavorless. They didn't even have any garlic flavor. The table next to us also complained about their oysters not being fresh. The service was good and pretty fast.

Found the best Mariscos in AZ taste just like CALI Mariscos. I've been looking for a good marisco place and trust me this was the best.

The waitress was attentive the whole time, bathrooms were clean, and I really appreciated how mindful the staff was with my deaf friend. That always stands out to me. The calamari was okay. I liked it, but my friend said she's definitely had better. I also had to ask for lemon with the calamari. Last time I came with a friend they were completely out of lemons, so I was glad that wasn't an issue this time. I'd probably try something different instead of the calamari next visit though. We got the Pier 88 combo crab boil with the "All of the Above" seasoning in mild. It came out super quick and was very well seasoned. I personally thought it leaned a little salty, but I also saw other tables adding extra salt to their food, so I guess it just depends on your taste. Portions were good and everything tasted delicious. Very kid-friendly spot, pretty loud and lively inside, and honestly a great place for hosting bigger groups, family get-togethers, or even just catching up with a friend over drinks and seafood. I've been here before and would definitely come back again.

We started with the clam chowder, which was extremely watered down and completely lacking in flavor. It tasted more like soup that had been diluted than a proper chowder. We also ordered shrimp with the Pier 88 seasoning, but the spices were barely noticeable--there was almost no seasoning at all, which is pretty disappointing for a place that markets itself around bold flavors. The service was just okay--nothing terrible, but nothing that made up for the food. Overall, the experience didn't live up to the hype, and we won't be returning.

Angie's Lobster is one of them. Not a stranger to their concept, I did see a lot of fun new stuff to try: - Crunch#!@$ Supreme with USDA Prime top Sirloin Steak, $6.99: I think the person who assembled my crunchwrap left out the tostada and tomatoes. Had it been in there, I think this would have made for an amazing crunchwrap. The steak itself was done well. - #!@$ Rib Sandwich Meal, $8.99: This is the thing to pass. Have you ever bitten into something so salt you fall onto your knees, knowing your blood pressure was about to punch the moon in the dark side? That's what happen. I was intrigued by their take on a rib sandwich but I recommend you pass on it unless you want to feel like a horse with a salt lick. - Extra #!@$ Salad Meal, $6.99: I mean, it's a salad. It's a chicken parm and spinach salad with an herbaceous pesto dressing. This was solid with no complaints. It also came with a quesadilla on the side so that was fun. Always a fan of Angie's. I can't wait for them to open up the one by my house this fall. They'll be half-a-mile away. My wallet is quivering.

Overall, the service is good and the food is great. I've tried several items including the cod, steak, chicken, and breakfast options, and most of the time everything is solid. My only real issue has been with the breakfast bowls. When they were first introduced, they were amazing. Unfortunately, over time it seems like the portions have gotten smaller with each visit. I can overlook the bowl being lightly seasoned or the potatoes sometimes not being fully cooked, but there should at least be enough potatoes to cover the bottom of the bowl. The steak and eggs are usually good, but during my most recent visit about a week ago, I was pretty disappointed. Normally the bowl comes with two eggs cooked over-medium, but this time they completely forgot one. Considering I'm already paying an extra dollar for what's maybe half an avocado, the least I expect is for the eggs to be correct. The bowl ended up costing around $10, and the fact that I finished it in about five minutes because there was barely anything in it was frustrating. I didn't even have the energy to go back and complain because I had already gone through my morning routine and dropped the kids off. I really hope this doesn't become the norm because overall I do like the food and the fast service. However, I won't have an issue choosing not to return if the portions and accuracy don't match what's listed on the menu.
