Really bad customer service. We were told by a waitress that they had a table ready for us. When we got to the table another waitress told us that, the table was already taken... By ppl whom were already seated. I understand it was busy, but just her attitude sucked. If you're not in it for the customer service don't work in that industry. El servicio al cliente es horrendo. Closest thing you're gonna get to authentic Mexican seafood. Loses a star in case you are not a fan of loud marachi music ! Seriously you're going to have to yell to talk to the other person on the other side of the table but I don't mind I'm half Mexican so it's pretty common but with a baby sister she gets fussy. Not great for children who are not used to that type of environment. Seafood is absolutely delicious and great option if you're trying to eat healthy (fish ceviche is great ! ) If you don't mind a noisy restaurant for some amazing food this is a great place ! read more

My friend and I were visiting Arizona and my sister recommended this place. We went on a Friday afternoon and upon arriving, the location where it is at looks pretty empty. The entrance is kind of hard to figure out because they have 2 doors (one to enter, one to exit) but the one to enter looks as though if it belongs to another business. Nonetheless my friend and I were greeted by Fabiola who just had a great personality and was very welcoming. We sat down and ordered our food. We both ordered micheladas and they were delicious! My friend ordered an asada quesadilla and a shrimp and octopus cocktail and I ordered a ceviche and camaron tostada along with a shrimp cocktail. It was all delicious. The food was great! I came on a Thursday afternoon and there was more than enough tables. Sat down really quick and put in my order. I had the shrimp cocktail. It was great! Cant go wrong with that. I also had a couple of "Tacos Gobernador". These tacos are the reason why ill be coming back! They are flavorful and i regret only getting 2. Plus, they have like a spicy mayo dressing that isnt too spicy but was very delicious. My waitress was very attentive. On top of that, there was LIVE MUSIC!! Great way to enjoy mariscos! read more

Not worth it at all. Never brought us chips and salsa, oh that's because they ran out of chips Really! We ordered a bucket of coronas they never brought us limes! We ordered oysters then found out later they were out of oysters! The shrimp cocktail was average in taste smaller than expected for the price! Quesadillas were small. 3 servers and one guy came up to me and ask how they could help let them know I was there to place an order to go and they kept on helping others around me. They saw me standing there waiting for someone to help and they all just kept looking at me and doing other stuff. They girl that was suppose to help me just kept on helping others and then started picking up the table. I feel like if you see people need hell you should let others know so someone can help. LEGIT! La Botana has amazing flavor in their Marisco's. I had agauachiles y pulpo! Micheladas are okay.

Heard about this place from Instagram and the pics on their ig looked delicious. I'm from the Bay Area so I took advantage I was in town and went to try it out. The food was amazing!!! Happened to be in the area and saw reviews for this authentic gem. This was a quiet Friday noon with plenty of loud Mexican radio music and offers for tableside live music! Food was prepared promptly and served hot with mild pepper "heat". Bottles with red green black and a few more pepper sauces were at each table if needed. Bottled still water and imported club soda ~$5 were offered in lieu of tap water. Emphasis is on "fresh" and entrees are priced accordingly. Buen provecho! read more

I arrived at this place with my friends and we had the rudest waitress ever, seemed like she hated her life and her job, she came up to us and asked us "what do you guys want". Then when we were in the middle of eating she kept trying to hurry us up to leave! The food was good though, micheladas are good too, they just got to hire more friendly staff. The food was salty so when you ate the shrimp cocktail all you could taste was the broth, not the shrimp or vegetables, then the beans were burnt and their was a band blasting music to a point we're the other side of the building was shaking, and when we left you could still clearly hear everything in the parking lot. read more

This place is amazing. We are from California and were on vacation looking for some fresh cold seafood. The seafood is unique in taste and is amazing! However we ordered a taco to go. The place has a great atmosphere and loud music but when I ate here I went home feeling nauseous, I went to sleep only to find my self waking up at 3am to throw up not once but four times later to find out I got food poisoning from the carne asada tacos. read more
