Terrible customer service. Very rude while ordering. They closed at 2 instead of 5 today, so one of the workers told us several times trying to get us to leave 20 minutes before closing. Tucked in the small strip mall. Not really mall but small building with several business next to it. You can not miss it if you are walking by. However, there is parking lot in the back. Since its frequented by college students from DU, usually parking spaces are available. They got coffee drinks, non coffee drinks and even with alcohol. One of the reasons this place is great is that you can come in on a Friday night, drink coffee OR wine, do some work, and eat a snack. I'm always looking for a great spot to hang out on a Friday, that's not too loud, and maybe if I'm feeling up for it - grab a glass of wine, so I don't have to feel completely lame that I'm working on a Friday night. La Belle Rosette is the spot for that! A fairly good amount of seating, decent snack and wine selection, the coffee beverages are OK (not great), and the service isn't too bad. I would say that some of the pitfalls of this spot and why I can't give it 5 stars is the limited amount of parking and the plug/charging isn't always accessible. DU is notoriously tough at times when it comes to parking and while there are limited spaces in back, it's tight and can fill up quickly. So if you're a student and walking here, it's probably just fine... One other downfall, in the summer it gets HOT in here. I don't think there is any air conditioning, but when I've been here on a hot, summer, night it's been stuffy and can be difficult to focus on work... just something to keep in mind. Otherwise, this is a cute spot, great vibe, nice baristas, it's certainly worth checking out. read more

We went this morning when it was 43 degrees outside with a strong wind. I had my 7 month old baby and my service dogs for my seizures. The lady rudely told me as soon as I walked in I had to leave because my dog. She never asked if that is a service dog. they are extremely rude which is so sad. Mind you no one was in there when I went at 745 this morning. Very bad customer service so won't be back. :( read more

Staff was very welcoming and helped out with suggestions as we were visiting and had never been before. Pros: Latte choices are pretty ingenious. The coconut dream is my favorite, although it's probably sweeter than what most people would like. If you're calorie conscious, the specialty drinks probably won't be the best choices. Their breakfast burritos are also delicious, and they have a vegetarian option! Iced coffee is amazing, because the ice cubes they use are actually frozen coffee. Cons: The paninis are ridiculously small, not worth the price. Service is sometimes slower, depending on who is working. Most of the time, staff are pretty nice and helpful. But occasionally, you'll get someone who is snarky and impatient. read more

If rating the coffee alone, it's good. I would have given them a higher rating, but one thing I cannot stand is when staff is rude. The guy who was working behind the counter did not say a word and just stared at me waiting for me to order. (Younger, tall guy with a oversized navy sweater and an attitude). What a great local coffee shop! Though I've lived a block from this place for the past 3 years or so, I visited for the first time a couple of weeks ago. The staff is friendly, the prices are extremely reasonable, and the drip coffee is amazingly tasty. Also, they make their delicious iced coffee with coffee ice cubes, which makes me a very happy customer. I haven't tried any of their specialty drinks yet, but I have no doubt that they are all just as good as their basics. They have ample seating if you wish to enjoy your drink or snack there, as well as a small patio if you need a little sunshine with your coffee. I love that I can get a great cup of coffee on my way to work, support a local business, and not have to suffer with Starbucks, or something just as mediocre. This location has housed other coffee shops that have all shuttered quickly, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this place stays open indefinitely. Skip the chain places and buy local. I had never seen this little gem while driving on University, but a friend suggested it for lunch one day. I didn't have a hard time finding it, but parking was a little tricky. I ordered a lemonade and the veggie bello sandwich. The portabello mushroom was so full of flavor, and the melted cheese added just a bit of naughtiness to this otherwise healthy sandwich. A medium tea is $3.50 -- if I tip (only tip options are $1 increments) that's nearly $5 for a cup of tea?? Similarly, an americano is now $3.00, again with tip paying $4 for coffee. Have used them for catering events in the past as well, and LBR was tuber professional and turned out coffee and baked goods for our guests at a very reasonable rate. Thankfully, this little shop makes a great latte and carries almond milk and soy milk. They have a decent selection of baked goods, chips and other various snacks as well. Great little place really convenient for the south part of DU's campus! I love that it's a nice, quiet, comfortable place where I can grab a coffee or a beer and sit and read or catch up with friends. The happy hour is really nice with half price beer and I think other drinks. The staff is attentive and friendly but not overbearing and never chased me out, though I did buy a couple drinks during my time there to not overstay my welcome.
