We got seated immediately, very nice to have no wait time. The restaurant was on the quiet side, a little darker, sports on TV, and option to sit at bar and watch the sushi man do his thing. If you're wanting a flavorful ramen this is not it, though the noodles had a nice chewy texture. The broth lacks flavor but could have just been an off day in the kitchen. The egg was forgotten but when it came out it wasn't anything special. Sushi-- very good. Miso- wonderful, warm, umami flavor. We each ordered two rolls, and it ended up being way more than we could eat! The fish was very fresh and the flavors excellent. The server must've come around six or seven times in the hour we sat there offering more water. Which is good because my Roll was quite spicy! I ordered the kamikaze and the Kumagoro roll. Noodles were great, they really need to add salt and work on the vegetarian broth. Servers were nice, slow for how slow the restaurant was. Wow! The salmon Nigiri and Sashimi here is amazing. Melts in your mouth! All the rols here are fantastic. They also make poki bowls that are fantastic. The other crazy yummy thing here is the Kumagaroo steak. The steak is Amazing!! The other amazing thing here is the service. DINO the sushi chef is very helpful and professional and definitely knows his stuff. The inside of the restaurant is very Very plain. They have two huge TVs but they don't have cable options that they did before. Owner doesn't want to pay for it...crazy bc the TV showing a game would have kept the sushi bar full and kept people eating and drinking the great food. I would definitely come back to this place. Unfortunately I don't think it was tamari and when I finished decided to use the men's room where the sushi chef was leaving. The squid salad was good. It actually is a good stand alone snack. I wasn't amazed with the kamikaze roll simply because of the sriracha sauce, I felt this masked the taste of food. I tasted more of the sauce than the food. The service was...ok. It seemed the day I went, everyone that sat in the middle of the restaurant received a lot of attention (full disclosure-this was my first time there). I had a window seat. But it was the most over priced sushi I have ever had. Mid fish, tasted like 7/11 sushi, I got a salmon avocado roll and spicy tuna. My total was $32. FOR TWO ROLLS. Plus tip I walked out paying $38 for two rolls and a Diet Coke. If that wasn't the cherry on top, I got up for 5 minutes to go to the bathroom, and they threw all of my food away. My brother called this restaurant in advance and ordered their special, which was to order 5 rolls (under $20) for a total of $60. What a steal! We ordered their poki roll, Alyeska roll, yellowtail roll, Lion King, and dragon roll. This fed 3 adults quite well, we almost didn't finish. The poki roll was particularly interesting as the sushi roll had poke on top of it with apple and an assortment of fish. The dragon roll was delicious with fresh eel on top and all in all, it was delicious. A side of wasabi and ginger was added to the large sushi plate. I highly recommend ordering the Alyeska roll, I absolutely love mayo and the creaminess it adds to the sushi gives it a kick. Out of the 5 rolls, the yellowtail was the most conservative sushi roll in terms of taste. The presentation was gorgeous with the jalapeno delicately added to each cut of sushi. This place rocked! It was not busy, quick service, HUGE rolls, and tasty beer! The wife and I landed here on our trip, more than twice and it was damn good all times. The muscles, rolls, sashimi, and more were really fresh and had bold flavor. We enjoyed eating here and will be back. Ordered here twice now. I have a little bit of an obsession with Ramen, so of course I had i try it. The first time i tried the Shoyu Ramen and Fried Rice. Fried Rice was good but shoyu ramen was a little fishy for my taste. The second time I ordered I got Katsu Ramen and Sesame Chicken. Sesame chicken wasn't crispy, but didn't lack in flavor. It was much better than I expected, but if you are looking for crispy, I don't recommend. The katsu ramen was WAY fishier this time than the last time I ordered ramen. Stopped here for dinner and it was quite good. The wait was non-existent so we got a table right away. We ordered some rolls and tea and got our food 15 mins later. The rolls were decent size but I can't say the quality was 5/5. Definitely a solid 4 especially given the price. The service here is by far the most awful experience I have ever had. "I've never felt so neglected by a waiter.". There is no redeeming factor of this "restaurant" it is bad in every way. The guy waiter that worked there was who my table had. And he was melancholy, and almost rude. When we got out food it was also not at the same time, even minutes apart some of them were. We had to ask multiple times for a sauce. Like it was unprofessional all around. And for the love of god do not eat here. The ambience which I and the others I dined with wasn't even cleanly. Cute name and good selections on the menu, we figured to give it a try. To be safe, we ordered ramen and yakisoba which we thought are really hard to mess up on, however they turned out to be worse than amateur level. Ramen noodle was all soft and not chewy; the chashu pork was a lean porn sirloin meat instead of pork belly meat; yakisoba noodles were broken apart and all soft too.
