I was so impressed with this place! Good Korean food is hard to come by especially in the area. Its worth a visit if you love some satisfying, comforting dishes that come to you piping hot. They also have a great selection of Korean alcohol. You'll be met with a friendly staff and fun posters decorating the walls.

Would recommend this highly! This place is great for Korean food and it taste amazing! Right on route 9, this small restaurant has a decent amount of seating and a very friendly ambiance. You are pretty much able to pick your own seating and you would place your order at the front counter as well as pay there. I was craving cold noodles and was so happy to see that they had them on the menu. This dish is refreshing on a hot summer day and the hot mustard and vinegar came with the dish as well. One thing I do wish I got was a pair of scissors to cut the noodles apart. The servers were friendly and attentive! Checking up every so often if I needed anything, made the place feel more connected to their customer base. Highly recommend to visit if you are in the mood for Korean food.

We stumbled on this place in passing and now it's a must hit everytime we are in the area. Staff was sweet and friendly. The food was out of this world honest number 1 in my book

The food is very good and tastes authentic. You have to walk up and order your food and then the food is brought to your table. The only thing I really did not enjoy was the honey ginger tea, as it tasted syrupy and too sweet. The pancakes were recommended by the staff and they were so tasty! There is not much room to wait as a table opens up and they would probably benefit from a larger waiting section with more seating. I plan to return and would recommend!

I've been thinking about trying this place for a while and finally called in an order. There's no online ordering yet but calling in was easy enough. I definitely hope they start taking online orders soon though. When I got there, the food took a bit longer than quoted but the indoor dining wasn't crowded so I didn't mind standing inside to wait. It was really clean and had nice vibes. I would consider eating there next time. When my food was finally finished and they were packing my bag, I felt like they kept putting in more and more food! You receive so many sides that I don't know how you could possibly finish your meal hungry, First off, the So Tteok-So Tteok was so tasty! I wasn't sure what to expect but yum! They were little skewers with chewy rice cakes and sausages in a chili sauce. I'll definitely get those again! For the meal, I ordered Dak Galbi which was a spicy marinated chicken. So tasty! You get salad, purple rice, pumpkin soup and other sides to go along with it. There was so much food that I had left overs. I was really pleased and impressed with my experience. I'm already thinking about my next visit.

The salad (particularly the dressing)and pumpkin soup banchan were so good. Seafood ramyun was delicious and flavorful. I could tell they sautéed the veggies first or something in the soup for that charred flavor Bulgogi was really oily but delicious as well. I love that this restaurant serves the purple rice !

Wow, I must say I am surprised! In a good way of course! I live in Queens New York, a neighborhood full of Asian culinary options including Korean. This Korean place came unexpectedly but rather very pleasantly! My table ordered soondobu jjigae, bibimbab, and haemul pajeon. Food tasted authetic, served in cute ceramic plates and bowls. Really apprecaierd their attention to detail l! Service was very attentive. The atmosphere was very clean and quiet! I highly recommend this place to y'all!

Do they serve beer and wine?

As of now, they are still in the process of getting their liquor license. I'm also looking forward for some Soju.

Twisted Soul - Naughty Noodles

Twisted Soul

The "food concepts" at twisted soul are fresh and ambitious. Vassar students really seem to enjoy…read morethe international flavors offered here, as it's a good alternative to the bland food you find in the dining halls and elsewhere around town. I particularly enjoyed the Vassar noodle bowl, which featured chewy noodles in a coconut milk curry sauce (allegedly Malaysian, more Malaysian "inspired") with BBQ pulled pork on top!! I would never have thought to combine these two ingredients, but they work beautifully together. It's a very warm and comforting dish, and the mint, cilantro, and radish garnish helps provide a bit of contrast. I liked the sour cream drizzle on top, too. I feel like this dish could really be fantastic if they adjusted the thickness and amount of curry sauce (the noodles are swimming in it like a soup) and provided more herbs and radishes on top. It could also benefit from a crispy topping to provide textural contrast. I've had other things from here that I've liked, but that weren't anything special. Like the Malaysian curry, their chicken tikka masala sauce also has a very runny texture, instead of the thicker richer sauces I've had elsewhere. And their bao buns are honestly not worth buying, since they have no hoisin sauce or creamy aioli/slaw element that binds together the rather dry meat, pickle slices, and scallions in each bun. They seem to exclusively be a grab and go kind of place, which makes sense to me as it's in a college town. Inside it's small and rather bleak, without any kind of decoration and not much seating. They take a pretty long time to prepare orders too, so plan ahead in case you're in a hurry.

A cute little fast casual spot with an array of food options. We got the Braised pork belly rice…read morebowl and the fried chicken curry noddle bowl as well as pulled pork bao buns to go. Seating inside is very limited the employees are friendly. The noodle bowl was very good but a little small but the curry wasn't too spicy and had a nice coconut cream relief. The braised porky belly rice bowl was a nice portion but the sauce was a little over bearing. Could've used a little more of the nuts to give it a better texture. The bao buns were very good. Nice fluffy warm buns and packed with the pulled pork. We also got the Thai tea and lavender lemonade. Lemonade was amazing it had chia seeds in it. The Thai tea was okay. It was way too creamy to the point it was white and I couldn't really taste the tea that much. I'm not from the area but if I ever came back maybe I would try something different from the menu

Prices seemed reasonable, and location is prime for easy parking. The restaurant was pretty full when we arrived around 6p. We were told to sit anywhere, so we looked for a comfortable two top. We found one in the back, along side some counter top seating. The server delivered the menus and promptly asked for our beverage orders, honestly the way she said it I expected a full bar but no.. just bottled soft drinks, water and tea. I decided on a pot of green, a steal at $1.50/ pot or person. Refills on hot water graciously given throughout dinner. My wife was happy with water. We ordered the Chicken Lo Mein ($11.99,) Shrimp & Cabbage Dumplings ($15.99) and Pork & Cabbage Dumplings ($11.99.) The Lo Mein came out like the speed of light and piping hot. The Pork and Cabbage Dumplings followed right behind, it was then we knew, we ordered way too much food, and we hadn't even received our Shrimp dumplings yet. The servings are large for the price! What a good problem to have right!?! LEFTOVERS! We had enough time before the Shrimp dumplings came out to consolidate plates as the table was quite small, with the two serving plates of food, my tea pot and cup, both water cups, a napkin holder and a large wooden holder for sauces. Our table was at capacity. I looked at my Wife and knew she was thinking the same thing... "next time we'll do take out!" In my opinion this location for Palace Dumplings is strictly for the college crowd or the super casual diner. I thought the food was really good, but the dining experience not so much. Service was kind but the whole place was kinda sticky, bathroom wasn't clean enough and the seating is mildly uncomfortable. Overall a decent spot for a dumpling craving. Very disappointed…read more Salted Cucumber appetizer average at best. Lacking flavor. Sushi rolls sampled were below average. Fried octopus ball were okay. Very hot and lacking flavor. Fried chicken ramen. Broth not very hot. Underdeveloped broth flavor. Ramen was good consistency. Very light on the greens and other additions to the ramen. Fried chicken cutlets star of the show. Very light, hot and crispy. Pork ramen. Same as above. Pork was fair at best. Very fatty but tender. And what's with the corn in the ramen. That's for a cup of noodle. Which actually has a better taste profile than this ramen broth. Service was good. Waiter was very sweet and welcoming. Prices overboard for the quality they are serving. Will not return.

Way more expensive than what you get in the city! So I opted for the seafood ramen lunch special for $17 which came with a choice of 2 sides. Service was quick. The place was clean with a lot of tables. I read some of the reviews before coming here and they were right, the broth was not hot enough and was a little bland. So I was very disappointed. I decided to try their sesame balls despite the price - $8.49 for 2 pieces since I was already here hoping that would make it better. Unfortunately it also missed the mark. I saw other people order noodle dish and fried rice and left with clean plates - maybe those taste better. I really hoped this place would be good.
