Ok it's Christmas Eve and most restaurants are closed for the evening after 6pm near Hyde Park. My daughter recalls eating here with her bestie so we check to see if they are open. They answered the phone , "Yes we are open to 10pm" so we make a bee line to Yeungs Kitchen. This place was packed with people picking up orders and more coming in as we waited for our food. Super busy spot off Dutchess Turnpike just past Adams. We ordered Fried Dumplings, Shrimp Toast, boneless spare ribs, General Tso with veggie lomein and Sweet Sour chicken. So far hands down best Chinese food since moving to Dutchess County. It's a bit of a drive from Hyde Park and we pass 3 other Chinese restaurants but I honestly think the food was amazing and not greasy. I will Definitely try them again and hope to make this my go to Chinese take out place. PS they are open Christmas and New Years. read more

Here was great, I came in ordered shrimp and broccoli lunch special with white rice and BBQ beef teriyaki skewers, the staff was very friendly and made sure to take my order correctly and started right away making it. Nice change of pace to find a place that good to customers and starts the food fast. I barely waited 5 minutes and my order was ready, as like wow less than usual 10-15 minutes standard. Plus thanked for my order as well. So for the food, shrimp were cooked perfectly same with broccoli and bathed in plenty of sauce, so glad they were not cheap with it, skewers were tender and flavorful. Even though it took a shorter than usual time to it, there was no loss in quality. Very good food. Not greasy. Order is always correct and ready when we arrive to pick it up. Dumplings (pan fried) are very good done just perfectly. The beef and chicken and both very tender. I've only gotten takeout from here once but the food was very good and the new owner seems very friendly. With everything going on right now, our local business need all the help they can get. Great service! Always timely and best Chinese food in the area. In three years I've never been disappointed.

Very friendly! Good food Good soups! They even worry about me when my wife calls in and I show up late because I'm running other errands. Only down side is no place to sit inside or social distance. It's pick up and go wish they would share an indoor seating area with the pizza place next door. They are also closed Mondays so I starve on Mondays. The woman on the phone was polite and efficient and the food was ready quickly upon my arrival. I was impressed with their thorough covid19 precautionary measures to create a safe environment, and I love that they have Apple Pay! The food was great. I got fried dumplings, lomein, and bbq spare ribs. The dumplings were slightly over cooked but still had great flavor. Everything was delicious (especially the spare ribs). Hey. So these guys just opened up in the old Dragon Garden space...and they are now the #1 Chinese takeout, with a bullet, in the area. In my humble opinion. We went for a bunch of old standbys - fried dumplings, cold sesame noodles, egg roll, dragon and phoenix...and fried rice. They got the fried rice order wrong (gave us shrimp instead of beef...), but everything else was super delicious. Fast, fresh, and tasty. Just had my last visit to this place. Enough is enough... We had a craving for Chinese on a late Wednesday afternoon. Ordered appetizers, soup, lo-mein and an "special" entree'. Everything was horrible. For starters, it was all luke warm, even the soup. In fact one of the soups was a congealed blob, like it just came out of the fridge. It all tasted like day old leftovers. The vegetables in the entree were bland and under cooked. The sauce in the lo-mein and kung po was tasteless. Dropped $50+ on this and ended up throwing most of it out. In fairness, I have had some dishes there is the past which were ok, nothing great. This stuff is not cheap and prices are up. For me it's not worth the gamble. Never again. read more
