However, after 8 months, the gift cards have never arrived. Additionally, they promised a monthly bill of around $200 (which was billed the first month) and then it went up to $360 every month after. I've been trying to get this resolved for 8 months and the TCC rep tells me each month it's resolved, yet it's not. I've tried contacting the manager several times and she does not respond back to me. Extremely poor customer service and would recommend going to a Verizon owned store as TCC doesn't back up their commitments.

I spent the next 45 minutes talking (once again) to the 800 number, who took care of the manager's inappropriate and incorrect refusal, and documented it according to T-Mobile's written policy...and then waiting my turn to talk to Eddie again. IMPORTANT: the store is MASSIVELY understaffed -- it appeared that people were waiting for 30-45 minutes for the privilege of talking to someone. While he was a star and took care of me like a pro, the broader functioning of this store is embarrassing and should be categorically unacceptable to their headquarters. The manager's failure to adhere to policy was beyond astonishing. It should not take -- literally -- nearly three hours and a wrestling match to get a phone upgrade to which one is entitled and which one has been promised. I'll add as a note to T-Mobile that I have gotten the runaround at this location before, and virtually every time I have gone to a retail location to complete a transaction. Sigh. One star. Do not recommend. Consider your choice to go to this location very, very carefully.... Do it online if you can. Horrible experience. On 9/4/17 we called AT&T to replace one of our family phones. The phone rep said "we can make this a buy one get one free if you subscribe to Directv - plus we can reduce your monthly mobile bill by $100". Sounded good, so we bought Directv and a new iPhone - but we never got the free iPhone nor the $100 monthly savings. Since then we've spent almost nine hours speaking with various phone reps and supervisors in the "Retention" department. Only one rep, Anna-Lisa White, was honest and transparent with us. We learned that the salesperson on 9/4/17 failed to register us for the BOGO, didn't tell us it was going to expire ten days later and probably falsified the offer of $100 monthly savings. In fact he increased our monthly bill by upgrading us to an unlimited data plan. Nobody in "Retention" was willing or able to rectify the situation. We suggested numerous times that someone listen to the 9/4/17 phone call "recorded for quality assurance" but no one has. We can imagine that the original person is a rogue employee, but it seems crazy that no one will lift a finger to fix the mess he created. We were told, however, that if we quit, AT&T would charge us about $800 in early termination fees. In other words: "We don't have to live up to our promises, sir - but you do." This has been so maddening that it's indeed tempting to just pay the fees and switch carriers after decades with AT&T. Or just accept that we got tricked into buying Directv and wait two years to switch carriers.
