Apple quoted over $350 and required me to go to a local store, schedule an appointment, and wait for the repair. I could not interface with anyone at Apple, but had to click through multiple links. Meanwhile, I called New Era, and they messaged me back immediately, saying they would look into my request. They offered me a time that worked for MY schedule (within their working hours) and quoted $100 less than Apple. In addition, they offer pickup and drop-off! The owner messaged me himself and came to pick up my phone so I could keep my work-from-home meeting. Within an hour, I was at the store picking up my phone. Case repaired and no hidden fees, just the agreed-upon price! I would definitely use New Era again, but hopefully not too soon....

Woke up the next day to find out that BOTH of my phones were not activated. Needless to say I couldn't call out to call either service providers. I ran to the Verizon store in Lincoln square. Bobby looked up my non existent account. Gave me the phone and coached me through the online Verizon customer service. It took about an hour but they were able to activate my new phone. Some kids asked me to borrow the phone on Thanksgiving and it got a virus after. As usual the place was really busy, but the owner Paul made sure that I was taken care of right away.
