I explained the signal began dropping calls and not putting outgoing calls through. The Manager told me "You're crazy" and hung up on me. I had a very disappointing experience at this Verizon location. The manager (his name sorry I…read morecouldn't pronounce it is like Meiaun/Meine/Mion) told us that we were required to purchase insurance in order to buy a new iPhone. He insisted that without insurance, he "couldn't sell us the phone." This didn't sound right, so we went to a different Verizon corporate store and spoke to another manager -- who confirmed what we suspected: that was completely false. Insurance is optional and not required to purchase a phone. Because of this dishonest experience, we are now switching providers entirely. It's frustrating that years of being loyal customers are ending this way, but we refuse to deal with misleading sales tactics. If you want honesty and fair treatment, avoid this location and go to another Verizon corporate store instead.

I stopped in twice this week.... Tuesday 5.13.2025 and today Friday 5.16.2025…read more I needed a new iPhone, and wanted to see what my options were. On Tuesday Brian went over everything with me, he was very knowledgeable, patiently went over all of my options, and because it was the best value, I decided to get a refurbished iPhone which is done through a 3rd party. (Asurion) I know these guys probably are incentivized to sell as many new phones as possible, and even though he did bring this up, at no point did I think he was pressuring me or withholding information about the option of getting a refurbished iPhone through the warranty that I have been paying. This was outstanding customer service. Since the refurbished phones are handled by a 3rd party, the refurbished phone was shipped to me. When I tried to set it up yesterday there was 1 issue, and I was told by Asurion that the issue could only be fixed by me going to an AT&T store. Flash forward to this morning. I went back to AT&T, and Angel handled everything right away very quickly and I only had to wait 3 minutes or so before it was my turn. He was just as great as Brian, I'm not sure if one of these guys is the store manager, but whoever is in charge you guys have a great store, and hopefully I don't have any phone problems again any time soon, but if I do, I'll definitely come back to AT&T Lincolnwood. A +++
