Great workers with lots of knowledge and expertise! I had quite a few issues with getting a new phone. I seriously tried about 7 times and i NEVER walked out of a store with a new phone. There were some deep issues that were keeping me from getting a new IPhone. I started to get extremely frustrated. No store seemed to be able to help me. No one could get me farther than "It says we can not upgrade your phone even though you are due for an upgrade". Until I met Charles at this store... Now, spoiler alert, I didn't get my new phone at this store. But Charles went out of his way to dig extremely deep into my situation and figure out what was happening. The first time I stopped in, he got me a few steps farther than other stores had got. So I started to get excited! But then boom... another issue and I couldn't get my phone. But I had somewhere to be so I had to leave. But I came back about a week later and he helped me get a phone number I needed to resolve my issue! So I left the store (had to be somewhere yet again) and dealt with this new number. I finally got conformation that i was able to get a new phone! I was in a mall at the time i was notified so I just went to the Verizon store in the mall and go my new phone. But because of Charles help I was able to get my new phone and get onto a new plan! I moved my 4 cell phone service over from AT&T to Verizon. I was supposed to receive gift cards for what I owed on my AT&T phones which totaled $1,800. However, after 8 months, the gift cards have never arrived. Additionally, they promised a monthly bill of around $200 (which was billed the first month) and then it went up to $360 every month after. I've been trying to get this resolved for 8 months and the TCC rep tells me each month it's resolved, yet it's not. I've tried contacting the manager several times and she does not respond back to me. Extremely poor customer service and would recommend going to a Verizon owned store as TCC doesn't back up their commitments. read more

Kelly you are the best! Let me tell you folks, I agree with Lisa B. Kelly had 3 customers that needed extensive assistance, but not me. LOL. Her voice tone was calm, yet professional. The way she handled each situation close to closing time, you would think the store just opened. I needed internet service immediately, just moved from Florida. Kelly provided me with the right equipment, explained what will happen, what I need to do, and it should take less than 15 minutes to set up. Got home and it took only 5. Terrible experience at this store this week. Arrived to purchase a new iPhone at 3:25. Only one clerk in the store. Only one other customer, already being served. Clerk said they were closing at 4:00. He told me that I could wait, but that I might not get served. I told him I didn't mind waiting as long as I would get the phone. He couldn't understand this and expected me to wait half an hour and see if then I would be served or not. Crazy. I strongly recommended AGAINST this business. It's understaffed and customer service is very poor. I went a couple miles down the street to Harlem and Northwest Highway in Chicago. That Verizon store had about 6 sales people. I've purchased new phones from this location for years but was treated very rudely by Andrew because I wasn't buying a new phone but transferring to already purchased phones. I know they get commissions from new purchases but there wasn't anyone waiting behind me. I would not recommend this location if you are in need of an accessory. My iPhone charger cable broke and I was in need of an immediate replacement. This location was closest (and I am a Verizon customer) so I walked in. They charged $30 for a single Lightning-to-USB cable (I'm pretty sure you can get a 4 pack on Amazon for around $15) and told me that if I did not create a profile with them, I would not get a receipt nor could I return the item. This store is not a true Verizon store, it is a franchise service outlet. They have repeatedly lied to us about cost and insurance plans. We went there last weekend to have one of our phones replaced that was on the insurance plan. They told us there was a 200 deductible. THEN they told us we should never keep the insurance after a few months because your upside down. They suggested they would have to call us because the entire network was down and they couldn't see our account. When my wife called later that evening, she was told nobody could call because they were SLAMMED. HOWEVER!!!! That the best thing to do would be to pay off the old phone, and then upgrade rather than claim the insurance. After speaking to a neighbor who suggested they had had VERY. Bad experiences... I recently switched my plan from AT&T to Verizon. I was expecting it to be a long and rather painful experience but was pleasantly surprised! We received phenomenal service from Daaron. My old cell phone was taking forever to back up at the store and I was running late to meet someone for dinner. Daaron could sense that I was stressed about running late and actually offered to meet me at the store the following morning (on his day off!) to finish setting up my new phone. Don't pay with cash... have lost faith in this store. We have been doing business with this location for years, but this is the last time. After paying cash for a discounted Apple watch, Carl had explained that only the service fee of $10 would show up on my monthly bill. Low and behold, we were billed $25/month which also included the monthly payment for the watch! At the point of purchase I signed for but did not receive a paper receipt. When we went in to clear up the problem, Carl denied that any cash was taken and would not correct the error. The discounted watch ended up costing us double what the deal had stated. I stopped in to my local Verizon store, to find out why I was unable to access the internet from my iPhone 5. I am on my son's account, and this was his phone, originally purchased through Verizon. The clerk was rude, insulting and dismissive. She first questioned whether or not I was authorized to use his account, when she could have easily looked up my number. Then, she said she could not help me, because I did not have his five-digit account pin. She never bothered to look at my phone, when the issue turned out to be a setting for an APP, that I later was able to resolve. Instead, she was impatient and dismissive; handed me a business card out of the holder on the counter, and said, "We usually charge for technical support, unless you buy your phone at this store." I had shopped there before, for a charger, but did not deal with this woman. After she handed me the card, she looked around me and started helping the next customer. This location was not able to assist me. Corporate told me visit a store and get a free SIM replacement. The issue was all on Verizon's end. Came into the store and they were not able to help me at all. In addition, they charged me $10 for a replacement SIM. I normally wouldn't mind especially since it's a small amount, but this issue was on their end and caused by Verizon. Tell me why the customer has to pay this? In addition, this location was not able to activate my SIM. So I drove to this location, expected to get a free SIM replacement and ended up paying $10, and still went home with a non-working phone. UPDATE** I received a phone call from staff at this location stating that they found that my phone was NOT insured on my plan. I thought that was funny because my mother said that it was when she had last checked. So I called her and she confirmed that my phone was properly insured, so I don't know if they were trying to get more money out of me, or if they just simply and honestly have no freaking clue what the hell they are doing. ** My opinion is a bit mixed with this location. I was in back on Friday and had fantastic customer service. The tech was really friendly and got my phone upgraded in really good time. However, I went in today, Monday, to help my brother upgrade his phone and the tech there seemed to not be thrilled with doing our upgrade, as if it was bothersome. On top of that, when he asked which phone number we were upgrading, we read the number out to him 4 or 5 times. It wasn't until after we left and my brother texted someone that they asked him "did you get a new number" that we realized the idiot at this location had put my dads number on the new phone and not my brothers. Both their numbers are the same with the exception of the last 4 digits and apparently this guy didn't bother listening for the last four and selected the first number he saw with those first 6 numbers... I'm just disappointed with the lack of energy/friendliness that some reps at this location display to customers. Some are fantastic, but the others need to get their act in gear. I have worked many retail jobs and know that some day you really don't want to be there, but that's no excuse to give attitude to customers. Typically I hate anytime I have to deal with mobile phone service. Whether its billing, repair, or purchasing a new phone I just dread the process. This weekend was an exception. I called Verizon to see if I my phone was due for an upgrade. Jordan W. handled my phone call went over all of my options. When I arrived at the store and introduced myself, he remembered everything we had discussed and completed my transaction with no issues. It took a little longer than expected to transfer info from my old phone, but Jordan stayed an entire hour after the store closed to be sure everything was set up properly. I walked in and was immediately greeted by Joshua. This guy is a magician with phones. I had a problem with my new iPhone XS not getting emails to the phone. All my emails were going to my old phone. Was planning on only having a one person contract (for myself) our very nice salesmen but pushy told us it would be cheaper for two people to be on a contract. I am not happy with this store at all! I was misled as the previous review stated as well. The pushy salesmen that I had made the deal sound fantastic! I walked in with a broken phone and wanted it repaired because we had insurance. He repeatedly told me that we never had insurance (which we did). I walked out with a bill for $1,400.00 and 2 phones on the Edge program. I tried to get out of the Edge program but I was shortly past the 14 days (when you can cancel a contract) and they would not allow it. I ended up paying $700 for an iPhone 5S one year ago. Big rip off, never again :( Verizon offered to help to try and retrieve a credit but I have not heard back from them. read more

And the nightmare continues from my last post. After the problems I experienced with the insurance rebate. I left Verizon and went to Sprint. I leased a phone and changed carriers on 1/19/16. I called the manager at the Park Ridge Store and the story changed again. I would need to bring my phone in and then they would credit my account and I would receive a check.. When I switched I called Verizon to make SURE my account was cancelled. I get a bill today and it shows account still open, I was charged a Full month and another charge of $80. I was told I have 2 Ipads on the account not a phone. Thank goodness I have 2 years of bills. Then after being on the phone for over a hour with the customer service ( I use that term loosely) I was connected with someone at the Park Ridge Store who was unable to help! No Kidding!! Now I was told , I would need to speak to Jared, the manager, tomorrow. I don't know if this will EVER be resolved. So many people have been in my account with no notations and made changes this may be hopeless!! My opinion stands. Stay away from VERIZON!!! read more
