    We had an appointment today between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. no call no show. Contacted the service guy he says he'll be there within a half an hour again it's another hour and a half later still no show. That's what you can expect when you get the bundle package from Xfinity!

    Just can't speak to customer service to have any problems solving with them. Over priced never informed any your service will be disrupted.

When…read morefiber optics service finally came to our small town, we jumped on it and canceled our account with Hughesnet, two locations, as soon as possible. They went ahead and billed us for one of the locations anyway. When I complained, they told me they were sorry and they had processed a refund for the improper billing. But, they said it would take a week for it to show up in my bank account. Two weeks later, I still do not have the refund they promised for the unauthorized charging of our card. Today, I talked to a representative, who claimed they could not process the refund until they had received their equipment back. This, ladies and gentlemen, is theft. They stole money from our account and are holding it hostage until we return the equipment. We have it packed up and ready to go, though it took some doing to get some of their equipment off the roof. And we will send it back. But I would never recommend this company.

It is now slower than it ever has been, freezes up all the time. Can't even sit through a 22 minute TV show without lagging or stopping. This is pathetic and unacceptable in the year 2026. If you can, look elsewhere and use anyone else but Astound! We sent them another email and phone call to get ahold of someone to come back to our house to fix yet another problem they made happen. So far, no such luck. They're value is nothing and they are most incompetent. So again they may seem good, but they're awful. They don't have any places located near us and have to come from far away, so I imagine their tech guys are very limited to when they can come. Another example of why big companies shouldn't be able to buy up the little ones like WOW, which was actually a good cable company that we had no problems at all with. Like every other company, there customer service seems to be a thing of the past. We will be switching to a different company as soon as possible and never looking back. Fuck Astound.

I hate my current internet and cable company-- Layer3 come to NYC please!! My brother had Layer3 installed one morning while I was visiting. I complained and expected the worst, but it was literally the easiest experience ever. This nice install rep (hi Chris!) came perfectly on time and did the entire setup for us in a few minutes - he was very pleasant and funny. I had no idea what this new cable was, so he spent time explaining and showing us a few pointers to make sure we understood the software. It's like a no contract, no fee, amazing cable company that has even higher quality imaging. Plus virtually unlimited DVR space (Hello binge watching!) Oh and it's less expensive than what I'm paying for UGHHHHH. The Damage: I believe the price is different depending where you are, so worth calling to see. I'll be signing up a soon as they come to Manhattan

I stuck with them a little longer but the quality of their services quickly deteriorated. I used to consider them the gold standard but i had to switch after a mystery charge appeared on my bill that they couldn't explain to me. I told them i was leaving and they didn't even care. I also refuse to go to Comcast. I noticed an ad for Layer 3 tv online and decided to try it out. Let me preface by stating i have a 1gigabit internet thru the fine folks from RCN who also have excellent customer service. Layer3 TV is an internet based cable solution. Their feed runs thru your internet. and they have 4K. I admit i was skeptical at first but once i switched i have not looked back. The picture quality is amazing and the customer service is outstanding. They are new to the Chicago area so there are a few kinks but you can tell with the technology they use they will become a force. Please keep doing what you are doing I enjoy your services immensely.

Scheduling was seamless, communication was prompt and professional, and they arrived exactly on time--even giving me a courtesy call 30 minutes beforehand. The installation itself was next-level. Stefan was extremely knowledgeable, detail-oriented, and clearly takes pride in his work. He took the time to ensure everything was perfectly aligned, secure, and clean. I especially appreciated his patience--he walked us through different height options and gave thoughtful recommendations. We even changed our minds during the measuring stage, and he happily showed us the new dimensions again and was very accommodating. He was quick and knew what he was doing, didn't need frame template. What really stood out was the attention to detail. I've never had an installer go the extra mile like this--Stefan and his partner spent time thoroughly cleaning the TV screen and even wiped down the console area.
