Everywhere Wireless (EW) is the best ISP I have ever been fortunate enough to have in my area. Generally speaking when you're in the market for internet you tend to be stuck with something like Comcast which has worked very hard to win the award for worst company in the US for many years running. Or if you're EXTREMELY lucky you might have two options to chose from which is basically like choosing between a blunt or sharp ice pick to give yourself a lobotomy. The only thing consistent is your disappointment in the quality of service and the ridiculous prices after your first 6-12 month introductory phase. And don't get me started about if you have problems with billing or need support. The only thing other ISP's will work harder to disappoint you with their quality of service is the hoops they will jump through to not lower your price. It gets to the point where if something is wrong it's easier to just accept that as your new norm than to ever try to call somebody and get your issue resolved. EW is COMPLETELY different from every interaction I've ever had with their competitors. My contract ended and I got autocharged for a new year and unlike every other ISP my price did not go up one cent. That in itself is worth my loyalty to this company however I looked on their website and found my exact service I was paying for at a 20% discount. I decided to call EW support to see if they would let me do this reduced rate knowing that this would never fly with another ISP as there would be some fine print about "new customer only" deals. I called and almost immediately my home girl Stacy Y picked up and I explained what happened. She verified what I found and within 2 minutes I had my new rate and received a refund for the difference. I had to pinch myself thinking I must be dreaming because this would NEVER happen with anybody else I've bought internet from in the last decade. Unless you're a masochist who loves disappointment do not go with anybody else for your internet. The next time I have to move the first thing I will be checking behind how likely I am to get stabbed at my new address is whether EW provides service there. tl;dr - fast & reliable service, and the best customer support I've ever had in a provider. STRONGLY recommend Silver IP! Longer version: When our condo board first let us know that we were switching internet providers AGAIN, all I could do was roll my eyes. This would be the 3rd time in the 5 years I had lived here, and the previous 2 were pretty terrible - inconsistent speeds, frequent service interruptions, and awful customer service. As someone who works from home fairly frequently and does every meeting via video chat, that's a huge deal... Imagine my surprise when the Silver IP folks swoop in, rewire the hot mess that was our wiring closet (I saw it - before: rat's nest. after: so pretty), and we've got FASTER service than before... OK, that's cool and all, but what good is fast if it's not consistent? Welp, check that box as well! In the time since we've switched (~1.5 years ago), I've had a consistently better experience working-from-home, video chatting with family, and netflix/hulu/etc. I'm talking super reliable high-def video, with little to no lag. Pretty damn awesome... And here's the kicker (and what prompted this review) - their support team is top notch. Send in an email or call, and you not only get a human almost immediately, the person on the other end of the line is super knowledgable, patient, and goes above & beyond to help you out EVEN IF IT'S NOT THEIR PROBLEM! For example, I just called yesterday to chat about adding another ethernet jack in another room. James was more than happy to set me up with an appt for a tech to come check it out and hook me up, but even went above & beyond to kick around ideas about other ways to solve the problem. I wound up just adding another node to my existing Google Wifi mesh, hooking a switch into there, and TADA, ethernet in another room! That type of extra effort is amazing, considering they made exactly zero dollars off that exchange... Silver IP, keep it up guys & gals. We just ordered Everywhere Wireless and proceeded with our remote install. The install started pretty easy and Joe was great on phone support. Unfortunately, I could not connect to the Internet. Joe informed me there were going to have to send a tech onsite to complete the install. Xavier was dispatched and promptly showed up at noon. From the very beginning Xavier was pleasant and professional and as things go with networking the physical layer can be a challenge, its always a pin out or a fiber tear. Anyway Xavier started troubleshooting and identified the problem and it was a fiber issue with the infrastructure. He contacted the appropriate parties and stayed onsite the entire time( 4hrs). He went back and forth, updating me on the status while working closely with the provider to address the issue. Once the physical layer was working and the Internet Connection up and running, Xavier sat down with me and reset the router, ensured I had connectivity on all of my devices, while still smiling all of the time, despite the fact that I do not think he had any idea this call would take 4hrs. I just want to say that you seldom find this type of customer service anymore. We need more Xavier's to support customers.Its this type of service that makes me very pleased with my decision to try Everywhere Wireless and am so glad that the company values service and support in the days of everyone becoming just another number. Incredible Response Time! i've been a customer of Everywhere Wireless for over 4 years now. Having also utilized the services of other wireless carriers in prior years, I can say with confidence that these things are what set them apart from their competitors: - Quality of service exceeds speed and plan standards. - Issues or problems with my service are RARE! - if I need a technician to make a home visit, the wait is less than 4 hours - the only time I needed someone on site was 2 years ago and the company sent a tech within 2 hours. Phone customer service is also above expectations. At times, I have questions that I would usually go to a chat site or email to avoid being on hold or transferred several times. I prefer to call Everywhere Wireless directly because their smaller team of representatives are on the same page! I am directed to the correct department every time (on the first try), and the techs are able to walk me through what to do from home patiently and don't mute me in between pieces of conversations or put me on hold. The most reflective representation of our local Wireless Office here in Chicago is the follow-up service. I've always received personal phone calls and emails to check in with me after a service call to ensure everything is still good to go before closing out my ticket. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! I initially dismissed this ISP when it first arrived in my building due to the "wireless" in the name. But the performance is anything but wireless. EW Fiber is a much better description of their service quality. I called and the very next day Nate showed up to connect a couple lines of ethernet from the network closet down the hall into the network junction in my condo, which feeds the rest of my unit. Nate was beyond awesome and he even entertained all my questions about how the service worked while he finished the necessary wiring. Now I have ethernet from from my router, to a network closet, to directional wireless transceiver on the roof of my building, to a fiber backhaul, to the internet backbone. Rock. Solid. Internet. 10x the download, 50x the upload and a 5x improvement in ping for 1/2 the price of my previous provider. Biggest internet upgrade of my whole life. I've interacted with their technical support on two occasions since signing up in order to add a couple features to my service and I felt like I was treated like royalty for being a customer. So happy to be a customer of Everwhere Wireless! If this service is available where you live, stop thinking and just sign up. You will not be disappointed. read more

Awesome company! I live in the Park Millennium condo building and we were stuck with Hipoint's slow internet and crappy customer service for years... finally our contract ended a few months ago we switched over to SilverIP. I had never heard about these guys before but I must say, they are very professional and super responsive. SilverIP had reps in our lobby for several nights before the actual switch over, just in case we wanted to talk to someone about what would happen and to tweak our computers - which was great. When we switched over, I didn't notice a single thing... UNTIL I saw my new internet speed. SilverIP speed is literally 10 times faster than Hipoint's. AWESOME! Now I actually stream netflix movies and can watch HD youtube videos. Why didn't we have this before? Last thing - their customer service blows away Hipoint. Our internet wasn't working last week so we called in (at 11pm) and were on the phone with Robert within a minute. He was able to remotely log into our router and figure out that a configuration had to be changed. Problem was solved within a few minutes - this sorta thing would have taken DAYS with Hipoint! I recently relocated to Chicago from Southern California. Having moved into a 1990s built condo, I found that connecting a router to internet via old Ethernet cable was problematic. My experience with Everywhere Wireless was consistently inspiring. I would not have expected that working through tech support (Mathew, then Felicia) for 4 or 5 hours would be as professional, skilled, and delightful. I felt completely supported and empathized with. I was particularly impressed when after concluding that on-site tech support was necessary and an appointment was scheduled, another (perhaps more senior) technician proactively reviewed the case and called to check another possible solution. After that attempt failed, the on-site appointment became necessary. The good news is that they were able to come the next day, not after the weekend as originally scheduled. The on-site technician(Matt) arrived early and was able to work his magic. I now have solid wifi and could not be more pleased and impressed with everyone who helped me from Everywhere Wireless. They made what would normally be a frustrating experience into a delight. read more

Our building recently hired Everywhere Wireless as our internet provider. Larney, the technician, was fantastic. During the installation, he and another technician got the connection working and a jack set up in the basement, but I wanted it to be in a more central spot on the main level. That set off a wild goose chase through the house as Larney and the other technical discovered the wiring mess that was inside the walls. After extensive searching and testing, they figured out what had to happen to get the jack working on the main level, but unfortunately they would require a wall opened up to get to access to wires in a buried junction box. A few weeks later, when I was able to get the wall opened up, Larney came back and got the connection working. Throughout both visits, Larney was very thorough - checking and testing everything and also taking the answer my questions and explain what he was doing. Larney is very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. It is nice to have good conversation when someone is spending several hours working in your house! read more

I have been using EverywhereWireless for nearly two months now and could not be happier. So far, I've experienced no dropouts or service issues - it's been pretty rock-solid. And the customer service is outstanding - very similar to what business/enterprise customers get from "professional class" ISPs (think FirstComm, Windstream, etc.) but much, much better. Very quick response times for issues/inquiries. My emails are usually responded to within an hour (real human responses, not just automated "we've received your request, blah blah" responses), and every time I've called customer service, I've been connected with a real person (who knows what they're talking about and can actually answer my questions/provide useful info) in less than 5 minutes. I'm an IT consultant/MSP by day, and I deal with many different ISPs in my work. I can honestly say that EW's customer service outshines that of most any provider I've dealt with - professionally or personally. If EW is offered in your building, I would very highly recommend you use them for your internet service. read more

The opposite of the traditional ISP experience! For most, the thought of calling your ISP to resolve a customer service issue elicits memories of painstaking hours spent on hold or speaking to a representative who clearly has no vested interest in the outcome, simply reading suggestions off a worksheet with little intimate knowledge of the issues themselves. I've been working with Xavier on a tricky issue due to my building's old architecture, and he's been consistently helpful and personable while guiding me through fixes to get me rolling smooth. So I decide to upgrade mine current one to 50/25 because we have 3 laptops, a desktop, 2 iPods, 2 iPhones and a game station. Our currently one just can't handle it anymore. I went online to fill out the forum, and their price is pretty reasonable. Below is my experience: First, their customer service representative Dave follow up with me consistently! I usually left for work at 9am and got home at around 9pm, which is also their office hour! So they can't do any remote instruction for me if I were at home! Especially I am not exactly a tech savvy person. But I have schedule they to come in to my apartment on a Thursday, which is my day off. Their technician, Alex, was one of best experience I have ever had! He is knowledgable, kind and help me through the whole process to set up my internet! He is definitely your go-to guy when you need help on the wireless! And now, I can play my online game while my girlfriend enjoy the Netflix without any lag! Our on-site technician, Xavier is the best I've ever dealt with. Xavier has had to come out to my unit 3x in the past week, but not just to install our wireless access, mostly to fix other ISP's mistakes. Furthermore, Xavier was on time for every appointment! exactly on time - meaning that when they give you a window for 3-6pm, he's at your apartment at 3:00 on the dot--not like the other guys! I am a first time subscriber to Everywhere Wireless and if Xavier is a true representation for what E.W. is all about, then consider me a subscriber for life. Dealing with Xavier, the Sales staff, anyone I've ever spoken with on the phone and anyone I've had to email from Everywhere Wireless has surpassed all of my expectations. It's important to note here that my (admittedly low) level of expectations are a direct result of my (horrible) experiences with Comcast. I'm with them now and I'll stay with them all the way. Everywhere Wireless was the easiest internet I have ever had set up. There was no wait when I called customer service. Customer service was very helpful and gave me good tips on what router I needed based on my internet connection so that I got a router that fit my needs at an affordable price. I was able to schedule my install within 2 days. Alex performed my install and configuration, and he was on time right at 9AM. He was very helpful and even set up my new router with updated firmware. Alex took the time to explain what I get from my service and make sure all of my devices worked using the new router and internet. He took his time and explained how the internet service works and what I gain from using this dual band service. I should have switched months ago from Comcast after the Library Towers started promoting Everywhere Wireless. The service is almost half the price at a much faster speed! The internet service is affordable and super fast. Plus I got a month free with the promotion. read more
