He absolutely saved me this week…read more My Lenovo laptop completely failed to boot after a graphics driver cleanup utility corrupted the Windows boot configuration and recovery environment. The system was stuck in a recovery loop, BitLocker was triggered, and Windows wouldn't load or even reliably enter repair mode. Multiple shops I called said it would take several days just to diagnose the issue. Matt turned it around in essentially one day. He was able to manually access the system, unlock BitLocker, repair the corrupted boot configuration, rebuild the necessary Windows files, and get the machine fully operational again -- without wiping my data. That was critical, as I had local files that weren't backed up to the cloud. Beyond the technical expertise, what impressed me most was: * Clear communication * Fast turnaround * Extremely reasonable pricing * No upselling, no unnecessary "reinstall everything" approach He diagnosed the real issue quickly and fixed it correctly the first time. If you're an independent contractor who depends on your machine daily, or you run a small to mid-sized business and need reliable, competent IT support, Matt is exactly who you want on your side. Look no further. Highly, highly recommend.

From start to finish, the entire experience installing my Samsung Frame TV was flawless. Scheduling was seamless, communication was prompt and professional, and they arrived exactly on time--even giving me a courtesy call 30 minutes beforehand. The installation itself was next-level. Stefan was extremely knowledgeable, detail-oriented, and clearly takes pride in his work. He took the time to ensure everything was perfectly aligned, secure, and clean. I especially appreciated his patience--he walked us through different height options and gave thoughtful recommendations. We even changed our minds during the measuring stage, and he happily showed us the new dimensions again and was very accommodating. He was quick and knew what he was doing, didn't need frame template. What really stood out was the attention to detail. I've never had an installer go the extra mile like this--Stefan and his partner spent time thoroughly cleaning the TV screen and even wiped down the console area. They didn't rush anything and made sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. The quality of work, professionalism, and overall experience exceeded all expectations. If you're looking for TV mounting, Stefan is absolutely my new go-to. I'll be recommending HDInstalls to all my friends and family without hesitation--and will definitely be using them again!

I found a compatible, refurbished model online (Z590), which he installed, and returned my PC. Shortly after, Raymond reached out, asking for details on my old motherboard, claiming he had a similar client issue. This was unusual given that my motherboard model is rare. Later, I discovered a Facebook listing posted by Raymond, selling an NZXT N7 Z490 marked as "used"--posted shortly after our conversation. I later found out that the same listing was made on OfferUp. I grew suspicious, as the listing perfectly matched the markings on my old, dead board. When I asked him to return my old motherboard back, he agreed and immediately deleted the listing. He returned my motherboard but insisted that he'd sold another client's board, denying that the listing was of my board. Despite clear evidence, he stuck to this story and dismissed my concerns. This experience has raised serious concerns about Raymond's honesty and integrity in handling client property. I'd advise caution to anyone considering Nestech Computers, Inc., as I believe my trust in Raymond was severely misplaced.

To…read morestart off, I should mention I am not an expert in computers & technology, but at the same time I am not a novice either. I have fixed and modded computer components & have built PC's plenty of times on my own. First time I went here, I went to get my 15" Macbook Pro Retina laptop screen fixed, an easy repair. I went here because I was too busy to do it myself. Sorin (lead repair tech) advised to replace my broken screen with a used screen to reduce the repair cost. I said thats sounds good and proceeded. When I got the repair back, the screen itself was dirty and the metal lid had tape and residue on it. I understand that the replacement part was a used piece, but he couldn't spend 5 minutes wiping it down and making it look presentable? This was a $500+ repair. At the end of the day, it isn't a big deal, but the reason I mention this is because it is relevant for my next experience with him and this business. My $7500 custom build PC that I had built, suddenly no longer could boot up, POST or enter BIOS. Sorin offered a diagnostics test for $80. I agreed as I needed to confirm which of my parts was malfunctioning so that I could process a warranty claim with the brand. On the phone, I had asked him if I should bring manuals - he said no. I bring in my PC and I tell him I will be right back as I left my power cable for the PSU in my car. He admentently says I don't need to bring it in (without even looking at my PC). Okay fine...I'm not going to argue with a "professional". I also asked if he would like to be provided a list of the parts in my PC to help him troubleshoot more efficiently. He said nope, no need. I drive back home. Next day, I get a call from him and he tells me that he did not realize my PSU (Corsair AX1600i) has a different plug and that he requires me to bring in my power cable. Great. Now I have to drive all the way back to the store when this could have been avoided if he took 30 seconds to look at my PSU when I first came in. I get a call from him later and explains the tests he ran. I should note that he said he was not fully able to test my CPU (3970x), GPU (RTX 3090), or motherboard as their shop does not have the parts needed to run a in-depth diagnostics test on higher end computer components. *This is why I originally told him if he would like a components list of my build when I first came in.* Basically I paid $80 dollars for a rudimentary diagnostic test that was not comprehensive at all in my opinion, as the CPU, GPU, and motherboard are the most important components of a computer. Fine, I guess this is the best I can get for an $80 dollar diagnostic test. I promptly ask him to put my PC back together so that I can pick it up. When I arrive at the store, he hands me my PC back and he said was not able to get the front facing fan on the CPU cooler mounted properly onto the heatsink. Um...okay...your business is called "PRO - Technology Professionals", but you can't even mount a basic CPU cooler onto the motherboard? I also noticed when he put back my GPU, he did not plug back in the power cables for it. And he also reseated my memory sticks incorrectly (pic included). He clearly put no effort in putting my PC back together. Do you not take pride in your work? Completely sloppy. This kind of leaves a sour taste in my mouth, but again, not a big deal to me, so I bring it back home. When I get back home to inspect my PC closer, I noticed the reason he could not mount the front facing fan on the CPU cooler is because it was the incorrect fan. My CPU cooler (be QUIET! DARK ROCK PRO TR4) has 2 fans that need to be mounted onto its heatsink. I don't understand how he could have messed this up because the two fans are both different sizes and only one of them fits on the inside. Instead, it's clear he forcefully jammed the other fan into it as it is basically impossible for it slide it in otherwise. It is astonishing he did not try to look for the manual online, or bother to call me to confirm how to correctly put the CPU cooler back to together. This was not a AIO or custom loop liquid cooling system... This was a simple cooler with two fans. The only way I could pull out the fan was to break the rubber gasket on the heatsinks - thereby damaging both my fan and heatsink. I call him and address my complaints and was ultimately met with an attitude. He tells me I need to bring my computer back to the store so that he can remove the fan. I refuse as I am not going drive a third time back and told him there is no way to remove the fan without damaging the cooler. I am normally a easy to work with guy and I am usually empathic to certain situations. I didn't even ask for a full refund and was compensated a $20 dollar refund. That doesn't even begin to cover my $90 CPU cooler. To have my $7500+ dollar PC disrespected like this is completely unacceptable. Avoid this place.

I spoke on the phone with them first and made an appt for the next morning to get it looked at. The total charge included getting my battery replaced as well, which is something I've needed for the last year. Luckily for me it was a great 2 birds one stone deal. They did everything by the next business day and everything worked as expected. 50% deposit and balance upon completion. Super straightforward. The best part is that they are professional, communicative, and you can tell they aspire to high quality all around in their operations. I'll be coming to them next time I need a repair or upgrade. I was initially very pleased with the quick turnaround and friendly service when I had my iPhone…read morescreen replaced. They were pleasant and professional and we exchanged a bit of humor over the phone and in person. Unfortunately, just two weeks later, a noticeable black blob appeared on the new screen near the Dynamic Island. This looks like OLED screen bleed or a defect. The phone has remained in a case with a screen protector the entire time and has not been dropped, bumped, or otherwise mishandled. Given the timing (only 2 weeks after installation) and the specific location of the spot, this issue is almost certainly the result of either a defective replacement screen or a problem during installation (such as trapped dust, adhesive, or pressure damage). It is not consistent with normal use or accidental damage. I offered to bring the phone in so they could inspect it in person, but they declined and immediately dismissed the warranty claim without examination. While I understand repairs aren't perfect, I'm disappointed they are unwilling to stand behind their work and honor the warranty on what is clearly a post-repair defect. I went from a satisfied customer who would have returned and recommended them to someone who can no longer do so. Potential customers should be aware that warranty support may not be reliable here. EDIT: Contrary to the response below the phone was never physically inspected. Rather, the response was based on a set of photos sent showing the issue which, alone, would be virtually impossible to come to a conclusion of physical damage versus defective product. As a customer, you are in a no win situation here as no matter what happens they are going to blame you and not the manufacturer or installation for the problem.
