From the moment we walked in, the customer service was outstanding. Ricky, our sales representative, was incredibly knowledgeable and patient. He took the time to explain all the phone options, helped us find the best service deal, and made sure we understood everything before making the switch. He made the whole process smooth and stress free. The store manager, Rashid, was also fantastic. He stepped in to help us finalize the purchase and made sure we were getting the best value for our new phones and plan. His professionalism and friendly attitude really stood out. It's a big store attached to a new mini strip mall near Walmart. It's right off the main roads (Rt 53 and Lake St). Their agents are OK, nothing really stand out of their Customer Service. The choices of phones and tablets are comparable to other carriers. They state all stores can serve you if you have any technical issues. My husband/Mom opened up a business account with them. Their agent that was working with them seemed like a newbie..didn't care much of him. If you open up a business account, it's best to call ahead of time and a rep will be at that store time/date and they will take better care of you. I'd only come back here because of location and it's a bigger/newer looking store. They need to up their customer service attitude. Excellent service at this Verizon store! The cable companies could take lessons from the employees at this store. My wife and I recently upgraded phones and had a great experience with one of the associates. Most recently, I picked up one of the Verizon-at-home devices for a relative who previously was using a landline. We were having intermittent outages with the device initially so I went back to the store and was met by Rashid. I explained that we needed reliable service on this device since it was this persons lifeline. He gave me a new SIM card to put in the unit and gave me his cell number in case there were any problems. He said to call me if there was any difficulty accessing the Verizon network. I swapped out the SIM cards and the device has been problem free ever since. I appreciate Rashid's understanding of how important this issue was for me. If you want good service for your communication needs, look no further than the people at this Verizon store. read more

We came to this store today to look at some new phones and talk about new plan I really wanted to look at the new IPhone but this guys got the phone's locked mounted so you can't even pick up the phone see the camera or anything it's like wow and it took the person like 40 min to come and help us but we just left with out getting new phones I'm going to go and see if other stores do that 2 if they do I'll just buy online what's the point going to the store read more

Holy crap! I walk into this place and five people jump up and ask me if they could be of assistance. I practically had to drag them along while they grabbed onto my leg begging me to let them help me. I know that's what they're being paid for, but in many stores even well paid staff take one look at someone coming in through the door and pretend to be busy. I came here for a few accessories for my new android phone, and although the staff was a little insistent on following me around and demonstrating things, it's much better than ignoring me. I bought a protector for my phone and the sales chick offered me a car charger, as well. It sounded like a sales push, but she informed me that if I got the charger, I got a discount on the entire sale. How could I refuse? And along with a $25 gift card Verizon sent me for the delay on my phone delivery, the price for a cover, screen protectors and the car charger was less than $20. read more

I spent a lot buying a new phone, watch, and several accessories. I didn't like the look of the watch band accessory and went to return it but was lied to about being past the holiday return period even before they looked up my account. Went in 1/13 but was told that holiday returns ended on 1/5, and stuck with that even when I said I thought it was 1/15. I was coerced into exchanging for two screen protectors that I don't need (because I already purchased one with a lifetime warranty). So disappointed because this seemed like a blatant lie to avoid a $30 return. read more

Though I didn't buy my phone at this location, I did stop here on my way home to have some questions answered after a couple days with my new devices. First of all, the Verizon plans seem to be pretty good, given the high level of service we receive. IF we have an issue (as one would have with most any provider), the resolutions have been mostly swift and to our satisfaction. The only times they don't shine or when it's a general system concern such as service in the many odd areas we visit, and where any service would be challenged. This store, however, was fantastic in the service they provided! They offered answers to questions, even when they had to do some digging to find settings which had migrated from my previous Android OS. I had a concern with one of the cases for my tablet, and one of the people helping me simply grabbed the options, brought them over and had me see which worked best. They continued to be sure others in the store were being helped, while running a sort of relay with the questions I had. VERY efficient, and with an excellent attitude. I will likely come to this location the next time one of our devices needs an upgrade, as I felt secure in the answers I received. They're easy to find (a little challenging to pull out of if you want to get to the express way.), and refreshingly helpful! read more

One was man named Brian, another was a woman whose last name i see from my reciept is Guzmane, but whom i failed to write down the first name of. Went in to get a new iPhones and I had to wait 15 minutes to wait for a "vault" to open. I ended up going to a different Verizon and they had the phone right there. TERRIBLE Service! Go to the one on Bloomingdale road instead where you don't have to wait 15 minutes for a vault that doesn't exist. read more

I went in to this Verizon location with my mom on Monday 11/30/15 to get my phone upgraded. I expected to be there a long time because in the past these types of things have taken over an hour or two. We were greeted right away by an associate named Juan. He was very nice and professional and started working on my upgrade right away. I traded in my iPhone 5S for the rose gold iPhone 6S. It took Juan 20 minutes to transfer all of my information from my old phone to my new one. He also let me trade in my $100 life proof case that I purchased a few months ago for my 5S to get a new case/cover for my 6S. My mom and I were so impressed by his work ethic. We actually asked him how long he had been working at Verizon because of how good his customer service skills were. When he told me only 3 weeks I was shocked because I thought he had been there at least a few years. This Verizon location is great. It is nice and clean which is always a plus. The only thing I dislike is the way the parking lot is set up but that has nothing to do with the store itself. If you plan on going here make sure you ask for Juan to help you. 20 year Att customer. I decide to upgrade phone and I walk into this VERIZON store where DANNY says if I get my new iPhone Max S today I'll receive a $150.00 gift card I can use anywhere. Get ready to sign, have the phone and DANNY decides he was in error and I will not get the PROMISED $150.00 gift card that I can spend anywhere. DANNY then tells me, "oh man, I feel bad, what I can do is we will waive the $40.00 new phone activation". Wow, great -DANNY I'm out $110.00 just like that. Guess what? I Look at my first bill and guess what's not waived??? The $40.00 is on my bill so now DANNY -I am now down $190.00 from your original words from your mouth. I tell DANNY to please do his job and get it removed/waived as part of the entire agreement we had. DANNY says I need to handle it and is not standing behind his word. It has now been 24 hours since I contacted DANNY. I expect DANNY to get this $40.00 waived off my bill. Now, I expect DANNY to get me the $150.00 gift card too that I can spend anywhere that I was initially offered to cover my time and aggravation. This isn't my issue, it's your issue to fix DANNY. This is my very first experience with Verizon. You are the ambassador for VERIZON DANNY that's making my first impression. And it's not a good one. YOU HAVE NOT BEEN A GOOD FIRST IMPRESSION FOR YOUR COMPANY, STORE, or LOCATION. Fix it and fix it now. I'll be expecting a resolution very soon. I came in to get a new phone after mine broke only to leave with a new phone and what I thought was a free iPad. Talked to Cesar who seemed very friendly and helpful, but he scammed me into paying for an iPad, plus monthly data and service. I didn't even need an iPad, it was his idea. When I called to complain, I got the impression that all the associates do this. They won't tell you it's free, but they'll sure smile and nod and talk so fast that you don't know what's going on. Anything to get their commission. This store deserves to be shut down completely. read more

Worst Verizon store experience we've ever had. We have been loyal customers for several years. My dad was told he would receive a Hum package for free (device and service). Only problem is that promotion does not exist. I called Verizon customer service and they confirmed that the promotion does not exist and confirmed that the service is $20/monthly and $5/monthly for the device for a 2-year contract. I called the store to discuss and initially spoke to a nice and helpful associate. He then transfer me to his manager who was rude from the start and told me the only person that would know the promotion was the sales associate involved Cesar. How is this possible?? One person in the entire company knows? I told him to check the account. He said no because Cesar is the only one that knows and that there is also some sort of password on the account to see it. Are you kidding me?! Bottom line, these guys are willing to say and do anything to make an extra buck. Unbelievable. read more

Walked in and waited about 5 minutes while Scott took his sweet time doing something and said they would be right with me. He was very nice and very polite just not all with it and together. Have a business account and he needed to get authorization from my boss. But it took several minutes for him to figure all this out. I understand you have detailed work to switch phones etc, but this was unreal. If I could just call the customer service line I would have because they are excellent to deal with. This guy had no sense of urgency or ownership in this transaction. If it was really busy, no doubt I would understand but I came at 10am. Hopefully it is just an isolated incident, but I doubt it. Thankfully I walked in right at opening. By the time I was finished, there were 6 people in line. If there was a zero star I would give it. Just bought a new phone today from Juan. Asked him at least 3 times if my pictures were being backed up. Answered yes all times. He was busy with other customers even though we had texted over weekend and I said what time I would be in. Take the phone home go look for a pic and guess what no pics. Called Verizon main number she had me on hold for 23 minutes trying to get Juan at the store. Get him and he says go to Apple. I said I'm not going to Apple I was literally just in there. Then Josh the so called manager gets on phone and says they are not trained for that. They only know to hit one button and if it works it works!! Are they kidding me??? When I'm done with everyone this phone better be free!!! Forgot to say I have been a customer for over 25 years back to when it was Ameritech. Too bad customer service went out of style. read more

Nice store, decent selection, but if something is wrong with your phone, don't expect them to fix it. I had an issue with my Samsung Galaxy s4, and the person helping me was GOOGLING how to fix it. I mean, I could have done that at home, I came to Verizon, where I bought my phone because oh, I don't know, maybe they would know what happened? After an hour of not finding answers on Google, they gave up, and ordered me a new (refurbished) phone. I came back the next day because they told me they could still get my pictures back...and the person (different from the day before) skipped all the wizards to get the information back, and then couldn't find a way to get my pictures from the other phone. So in summary: 1. I did nothing wrong to the first phone, it was a "manufacturer error", yet I still got a refurbished phone. Seeing as this wasn't a user error, I thought a NEW phone would be what I received. 2. Both trips were a waste of time. They have no idea what they are doing over there and don't even pretend they do. What happened to the good old days of having a separate division who were actually trained to fix these problems? KNOW YOUR SHIT, VERIZON. 3. Though the employees were stupid when it came to my phone, they were very friendly, and that's probably why I didn't leave screaming. read more

This is one of the nicer looking stores you can shop at. Buying phones is nothing unique, they're very polite and friendly and helpful, and know their phones well enough. However, even if you're not spending any money, they're still crazy polite. I came in to get my iPhone fixed (under 1 year warranty), she tried her best to fix it (charger and camera got dust in them, so she tried getting it as clean as she could) and definitely made a huge difference. Though the camera rendered the phone needing to be replaced, at least I could charge it until the new one came (which she ordered for me and gave me all the info to track it and offered to set it up once it came in). Recently, came in with an unlocked Nexus 6 I bought off Amazon, and they had no problem activating it for me going from my iPhone. Made no money, but took care of me as if I had just set up a new family plan. These guys work quick and they're really friendly. It may be more convenient to order online, but they'll help you along the way, and with this level of courtesy and professionalism, it's very rare nowadays. read more

My husband and I went in with 2 phones and a tablet purchased at this location. None of the 3 electronics would work. They took his phone and promised him a new one in 4 days, then sent me on my way with mine telling me it's an issue with my apps. They made no attempt to even problem solve to see what the issues were. The tablet was sold as new, but someone else's Facebook account was already on it. I had been a lifelong AT&T customer, and will be going back as soon as this contact ends. They are worth the extra money. You get what you pay for, and Verizon's customer service is the worst I've ever encountered. read more

I have now spent an hour and a half trying to get my bill reduced on the phone from the Addison Verizon store that double billed me on a shield and a case for my new phone to the tune of $74 (thank god I had the 2 paid invoices for each item).....By the time I got done with this exercise correctng this via text/phone, I had already arrived via car to the Addison store. I walked into pay the corrected amount after this very frustrating experience and then had to deal with one of their employees LECTURING me on the fact I was upset. You DO NOT want to buy a phone from the ADDISON VERIZON STORE under any condition. First, from 2 separate and paid invoices I was charged an extra $74+ dollars on my bill for the items AGAIN which were already paid for.... and to add insult to injury, you get a lecture when you went to pay your bill after someone on the phone corrected it. The store employee was rude, so I walked out. I got home to pay the corrected amount, trying once again via the phone and was told I would be charged an extra $7.00 + for talking to a "digital" customer service person. VERIZON - CLEAN UP YOUR ACT! And again everyone, don't buy a phone from the Addison, Texas store if you have any brains whatsoever. IF they could get a zero, that's what I would give them. read more

I had a great experience the other day at Verizon. I was switching over from another provider and being added to another plan. I have been to stores where the wait is ridiculous (not Verizon), but I got in and talked to someone right away. The customer service rep did a great job of explaining all of my options. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He was able to set me up with a new phone and tablet, put on all of the screen protectors and cases for me, and made sure everything was good to go before I left. So today I was having a rough day 7/26/16 and going to one Verizon store, I was all excited to get my upgrade and for them to tell me they didn't have the iPhone 6s Plus in gold I was a little upset. Luckily the guy was able to help me find a store that did and that's where this store in Addison came up. Right as I walked in I was greeted with a great smile and great customer service by a gentleman named Juan I did not catch his last name but he was great! I thought I was going to take long there but Juan was quick, informative of everything I needed to know, and funny he did scare me a little when he said he didn't have it so if that was his plan well he did a real good job at it. So Juan, if you get to read this good job you made my shopping experience great and worth it! Manager, I think you should give him a raise or bonus because people like him make the customer want to go back and shop at your store more. read more

So last night i went to the store to switch from my current provider to Verizon. I wanted to switch 3 lines. I was going to trade in my iphone 4s to offset the price of the new iphones and i guess the manager and the rep Jesus had a probelm and wanted to act like the phones would not go through for the credit. I am approved for service but they wanted me to pay cash or use my credit card for the purchase of the phone. After 2 hours of them trying to go back and forth so called trying to put the phones in for credit toward the new phones and going in the back whispering about whats going on. The manager comes back out and says the account was put on hold because you can not trade in an iphone for an iphone. That makes no sense to me and i let them know that! The manager is an @$$hole and very rude! I went to another Verizon right after leaving that store and everything went through fine. I was only in there for 25 mins got the numbers transferred and everything. I dont want to believe that they were rude to me and my family because we were black and had 3 iphones. I dont want to believe that!!!!!! Maybe they just dont know their job! read more
