I was seeking to update my 2-channel system for my enjoyment in retirement. After answering question after question and really listening to my responses, Dave set me up with an incredible system. He matched a McIntosh integrated amp with a pair of Dali Epicon speakers and a REL subwoofer. He came out to the house, set-up the entire thing and even corrected errors on my video system. The results were incredible. I could not be happier with the component choices and the musicality of the system. It has a great sound stage. Stellar experience at Simply Stereo! We were in the market for a new media console, and Salamander caught my husband's eye. He noticed that Simply Stereo was listed on Salamander's website as a premier dealer. He sent an email inquiring about coming in to see some items in person, and we headed there on Saturday afternoon. We were greeted right away by Dave, who was helping a customer carry something out to their car. When he came back in, he listened to what we were there for and showed us upstairs to one of the listening rooms. He patiently answered approximately five million questions from my husband and, as luck would have it, what they had on display almost exactly matched what we were looking for. Absolutely amazing experience at Simple Stereo! I accidentally dropped a small socket tool inside my dashboard while installing CarPlay myself and was really worried it might cause issues. The owner could not have been nicer. I went in tonight to get a new cord for my subwoofer as my dog chewed my last one. He told me he could fix it quick if he had the correct end and he did! He told me he does not normally do repairs but did this for me anyway, and showed me how I could do it myself in the future and only charged me for the part! I love music, it is a part of my daily life. I have bought and sold many stereos over the years, but don't consider myself an "audiophile".... I mostly buy mid priced stereo components. I have seen this place for years, and decided to go in. The three listening rooms are big enough to hold several components and speakers. Jason spent over an hour with me. Not being in the market for anything new, i took in his vast knowledge of the industry as an introduction into high quality audio. When the time comes to upgrade my system, I would definitely go back. They are awesome. Been doing business with them way before Facebook and Yelp even existed. They were the only place I could find that had a center channel for my Klipsch mains KLF-20 beasts. But while I was there I feel in love with the sound of the bipolar Definitive Tech. I am more a movie guy so the Klipsch horns were always wonderful for the wide stage and enveloping sound. But if I ever upgrade, it will be to the Definitive Tech line. They always work on price and sometimes you can get a floor model for a great price. They are flexible to move around speakers and let you bring in your own demo material and are experts. Unlike the big box stores, these folks know, live, and breathe speakers and sound. I hope they stay around forever and certainly have been in the business a long time for a reason. Like others mention, don't let the outside of the place fool you. When I first visited, I was like what kind of place is this? Then I stepped inside and it was crowded but it was nirvana, they had all the cool stuff and I exited about 2 hours later - LOL. read more

After visiting 8+ audio stores, nobody can match Simply Stereo's service, quality, and value. The rest do one or two of three very well but definitely, lack the other(s). Lee is perhaps the best salesperson I've worked with at ANY store. He listens, makes great recommendations, doesn't pressure, hustles to get the right product, and accommodates every request. Even though I didn't buy an amplifier from him, he let me borrow one for a week to power the speakers I did buy. I went a different direction with the amp, but he has a loyal customer for all my other needs. He recommended a certain turntable for my price range, and wouldn't you know it, it's top of its class in the price range. Better yet, he isn't the turntable expert in the shop. I'm a semi-beginner, and straight away, they offered to set the turntable up as part of the sale. I've owned these speakers for 3 weeks and I'm going back for the turntable because of Lee and Simply Stereo's quality in all facets of the customer experience. Best customer service i received in a very long time. Neil is extremely knowledgeable, patient and lets you take your time. No matter how many times i went back, every time they treated me with utmost respect and provided honest advise. They even let me take the whole 5.1 speaker system home to try out for a few days, at no charge. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for some nice speaker systems like Paradigm. Update I broke one of their demo speakers while taking out from the vehicle, at my home. I have been stopping by their old location for a few years now. The customer service is always fantastic. Knowledge of the in house equipment and basically anything else audio I've asked about is exceptional. Lee and Dave are super pleasant to talk to and have a real passion for what they are doing. It never feels like a sales pitch. It almost feels like they want to jump in your car with you and go listen to some music or watch a movie at your house. Super laid back. I've been meaning to review them for a while. I pulled the trigger on some speakers yesterday and went to lick them up. Not only did they walk me through how to set everything up, they had every cable and connector I could possibly need in stock. Getting everything in one trip is always soooo satisfying. Within a half hour of arriving at home I had some great music going. What pushed me over the edge for the review is their new space! They gave me a quick sneak peak. This place has been around since I was little. When my father went into buy his speakers they had the best customer service, and to this day they still do. Very nice group of guys. This is a place to go to if you really want great speakers. They have entry level setups, but you have to talk with them and get some prepping before you go set this up in your home. Looks can be deceiving. And it certainly is with this place. I went in on a whim noticing they are pretty much the only retailer that carried the ELAC brand in house. This place and the people that work there are the real deal. Even with what I thought I knew about high end audio, Lee was very helpful with his knowledge of not only the equipment but also the introduction of some new music that I either never heard or wasn't too familiar with. Not knowing if he had a guaranteed sale he could have easily rushed me out the door if wanted. Something more familiar with your big box electronics stores like Magnolia. If you look like you don't have cash or look like an instant sale, they pretty much brush you aside. Instead I felt like I was just hanging in my own home auditioning speakers. I believe I was pushing on about 2.5 - 3 hours before noticing what time it was. But that attitude, knowledge, and passion about audio, music, etc. is what I believe keeps them doing business. In summary, I made my purchase...then called back and purchased more. They even allowed me to audition the speakers until mine were delivered. Which personally I won't do again. I had equipment in my vehicle that damaged the vinyl wrap of the speaker. Felt bad about it but no fuss was made by the staff. I know they know they have a new customer.
