A loud voice kept repeating that message. I could not turn the computer off or silence the voice. A phone number appeared saying I needed to call it for help. Instead, I called FireLogic. I was quickly put through to a technical dispatcher who listened to my problem and connected me to a technician named Danny. Danny was familiar with the particular virus, he told me where it came from and said he knew how to deal with it. He was calm and knowledgeable and walked me through what to do. Within about ten minutes the laptop system was restored. Danny made sure my anti-viral system was still intact. He suggested that even though everything looked fine I should put the laptop through a complete viral check. I did that after we hung up. Two hours later he called just to be sure the viral check had not revealed any problems. FireLogic is an excellent company. I recommend them highly.

I know it's in poor taste to write poorly about others, but once we became an established client, our service suffered. We had to use their less experienced techs to try to resolve our problems and they did not get resolved until the reps we wanted got involved. We also needed them to help expand our office. I asked for a quote in July so I could prepare. Our install was mid October. In September I checked in on the status and nothing was even started. By the time they sent me a quote it was close to install time so when I noticed discrepancies on the quote, they quoted me 3k more money than originally. Saying their original quote was not a real quote..... just unprofessional. -- edit -- the response proves the point

I'm in tech and I actually fix the items ZombieTechs repairs when I have time. So I hope that…read moreimpresses upon anyone how much I approve of ZombieTechs. As to why I'm so well taken with them, the main reason is their techs are friendly and knowledgeable. Their prices are more than reasonable. They also have multiple locations as well, which makes it convenient to get to depending on where one is when. I've taken 2 MacBook Airs, 1 MacBook Pro (Schaumburg), and an iPhone (Des Plaines)... and a partridge in a pear tree! Just kidding, about the partridge, the pear tree however, facts! Just kidding on the pear tree as well. Long story short, the techs knew enough about what is worthwhile for me to repair, let me know the problems, and the cost to repair. They obviously also repaired everything I agreed to have them take on. So far so good, no problems whatsoever. Their setup seems to be simple, come in, explain what's going on, drop it off, wait for them to take care of it, then pick it up. For me, as I work on these items here and there, the price was very reasonable and I was honestly surprised at which point now I don't have to do the one-off repairs for when a family member spills a beverage, cracks a screen, or wants a new battery, I tell them to go to ZombieTechs or I go to ZombieTechs for them. It's a load off my mind and again, for me, this is a side hobby, for them, it's their professional job and they are excellent at it!
