So the first time we came was a few months ago on taco Tuesday endless tacos for like $20 food was delicious and we got two sides. Come back today - should have called since I drove an hour. Taco Tuesday is actually 1.99 which isn't bad but it definitely changed. What a filling experience! Came here on a Monday afternoon/evening with my family to celebrate my cousin's 21st birthday. We went for Happy Hour. They have some pretty good deals and are pretty affordable. After taking some time to look through the menu, I decided to get the Show Me Your Melons, which I believe is seasonal blonde. Comes in 2 and I ordered 4. It will fill you up! Wings - (6) Garlic Parmesan and (6) Asian Sweet Chili. Both were really good and had us wanting more. Definitely not bad at all for it's Happy Hour price because you get 6 wings! We liked the Garlic Parm so much we ordered a second round. Something about that Garlic Parm. I personally really liked the fact that it wasn't just all Parmesan and that the Parmesan wasn't overwhelming. Garlic Fries - We loved the Garlic Fries! Or maybe we just love garlic (as you can see). Such a good side to our meal and I personally really liked the garlic bits! Honestly can't go wrong with Garlic Fries. Chili Cheese Fries (not pictured) - One of my more favorite Chili Cheese Fries because it was really smooth. A lot like homemade chili. Spicy Edamame (not pictured) - That Sembal Sauce!! The sauce added such a good kick to the Edamame. We really liked this appetizer and were totally digging the sauce. It had such a good spicy kick. OK - so my family and I had the most hilariously bad brunch here a couple weeks back. And when I say hilariously bad - I mean the brunch we had was so bad that we ended up laughing about it mid-brunch... like, "Wow! This is the worst brunch experience ever! HAHAHA!" And not in an ironic way. It was like we got through the mad/rage-ful part of being ignored by servers and not getting our food and not having proper seating even though we'd made a reservation and not having anything good to say - and mid-brunch were reflecting back to when we started brunch AS THOUGH IT WERE A JOVIAL TALE FROM OUR PAST! It was bizarre... it took a long time... there was one woman working there who saved the day (sort of)... and I feel badly that I don't remember her name. OK - so we found this place on Yelp because we knew we'd be dining in Redlands on a Sunday and they: 1. had brunch 2. were listed as Good for Kids 3. would take a reservation So, yes there is brunch at Kluddes (kluudz). But, no... this is not a place that is good for kids. No, please change that, Yelp. This is a bar with tables that serves food. All of the tables here are hightops except two. My guess is those are only lowtops because they need to comply with federal regulations and have them for those who might be disabled. They do not have booster seats. They have only two high chairs... and those are the correct height for the lowtop tables and NOT THE HIGHTOPS... which cover 85% of the establishment. So... not good for kids. But they have a kids menu... so... cool? We did have a reservation. We were informed later that the guy who took the reservation should not have done so on a Sunday for brunch-time. So, train your staff better, Kluddes. Anyway, we park ourselves - with a 3.5 year-old and a 1.5 year-old... at a few hightops pushed together. And we take turns holding the baby. I know, I know... a baby in a bar. But, you guys... they advertise themselves as a restaurant... a gastropub and "New American Restaurant" according to their Facebook page. So, we're keeping the kids contained - a woman eventually brings us some water... and we're waiting. And then I realize she is, like, the only employee I've seen. And she's the bartender. And there are about a dozen tables seated at this point. I then see someone working in the kitchen. So... there are roughly 30 guests and 2 employees. Not a good ratio. We see this blonde bartender/server lady once more at our table. She drops off a beer and an iced tea. She's then at the bar or at another table - but not ours... for a long time. We haven't had our order taken and we've been there 30 minutes. Finally, my brother flags down this lady who is, maybe, a manager-type and asks if we can get service at our table... she's on it. And she takes care of us from that point on. We order. We wait. And wait. I start to look at the tables around us who have ordered and realize that they, too, haven't gotten their food. We wait. There are restroom breaks taken, a few of us take a walk around the block. No words on what's going on with our food. Then, passing the restroom I see that their kitchen is the size of two park benches back to back. At this point there are 2 guys working in the kitchen, 2 managers (neither of whom set foot in the kitchen) and 2 servers. And probably 45 guests. Still not a good ratio. It takes more than 1 hour from the time we order to the time our first entree is delivered - we ordered 7 entrees. It takes about an hour and 15 minutes total - from when we ordered until the last entree is dropped off. They did bring us some chips while we were waiting... after our stares caught the attention of someone on staff. It was right before the final couple of entrees were dropped off that the laughing about the terrible brunch experience started. We were chuckling about how everything that could have gone wrong did go wrong. Later, the manager lady said - you know, it's a beautiful day, and it's Sunday and there's basketball on... and essentially told us that's why everything was chaos. The kitchen guys were panicking... blah, blah... that's not my problem. They underestimated (majorly) how many people would show up. And they were woefully unprepared to serve people... kids... those who wanted to eat food (rather than just drink). So, my advice, Kluddes, is do a better job of staffing your joint. If you wanna call yourself a restaurant, be prepared to be slammed and have to make food. And if you want to be billed as kid-friendly... it takes more than having a kids' menu. I won't be back. But... thank you to the lady/manager that helped us. Plus one star for her. read more

I can't believe I haven't reviewed Kluddes yet. I think this review is well overdue. I've come here a few times to meet up with old co-workers of mine while in Redlands. Each time we've gone it hasn't been too busy, but we were coming in during off-peak hours. Each time I've been here the staff has been pretty friendly and helpful. They have a good variety of beer and a pretty diverse menu. Each time I've come here I've HAD to get the carne asada fries because they are just THAT good. I've also had their club sandwich which I liked, but I don't think it held a candle to how delicious the carne asada fries are. I look forward to coming in again to eat these delicious fries and maybe sampling more of the menu! read more

OMG! This place is ridiculous. We come in. There is never anyone there and there is a reason. The employees seem annoyed when there is a customer. Service is slow because they are on their phone. We were given a scan code for menu and internet was not working inside restaurant. I asked for WIFi password. Bartender said Mgr said no password. I asked if they had paper menu, she said no. I said "How can we order food without knowing what they have. She gives us a dumb look and said "I don't know". Nice way to treat your customers! I will start off by saying that the food is to die for. Everything that we've ever ordered has been top-notch. However, the beer is as cold as the weather is outside. Meaning, if you're looking for an ice cold beer, but it's a hot day, you are probably going to have a warm beer served from the tap. We have brought smaller groups here and always have been served quickly, but my husband and I brought our family (approximately 10 people) to celebrate a birthday party, and it took over two hours to get everyone's dish, as they only have one fryer and one cook. Food is really good, but because of venue situation and complain-y owner, marked this place down two notches. Ordered the Apple Sage veggie dog with spicy peppers and caramelized onions. Super good. Definitely the sausage not made from scratch, but the peppers were phenomenal, and the onions were yummy. One other detail to mention (and a tip for the owner): if you order a veggie sausage because you are a vegetarian, do not order the potato salad; it has meat in it (I think bacon). Also, for the owner, maybe ask the customer that is ordering a veggie sausage if they are vegetarian, because they won't get the potato salad if they are since it has meat in it. I would definitely come back, but I think I would rather wait for the business to have its act together and not listen to someone bitching and griping about all the bills they have to pay for the place. Came across this place through TikTok and boy did it exceed my expectations. I first came here during their special Halloween cocktail releases and loved it so much, that I decided to try out their new Fall cocktail releases. If you love Cinnamon, definitely give them a try! Their drink presentations are stunningly beautiful and very tasty (I personally like fruity/sweet drinks). ..They even released a Baby Yoda cocktail!! Check it out for yourself while you can! I will warn you..because this business is a first come first serve sit down dining restaurant, wait times can vary - depending on how fast previously sat parties finish up. Got to check this place out on a Wednesday night. Downtown was pretty busy, but I was able to seat myself immediately on the patio. The music was a bit loud for my taste and there wasn't a ton of seating, but the servers were attentive and the food came out reasonably quick. I got the bacon-duck tacos which were awesome. The tortillas were super fresh-tasting and the picked onions gave a unique bite to it. There was also a super great crema that had a kick to it. It came with their take on elote and that too was stellar. My buddy got the shrimp tacos which were also good, but definitely more of a Thai-nspired taco take. I think I'd probably prefer grilled shrimp over the breaded variety for these tacos, but overall the flavors really balanced well for two complex tacos. I decided to break my intermittent fasting and ordered here during work. I came to pick it up right at the time I was supposed to pick it up. For a Friday night in was quite poppin. Too poppin for my liking since we're in the middle of a pandemic here.
