You doughnut know what you're missing! Saw this local shop and thought why not! What a cute little shop ironically situated right next to a Dunkin Doughnuts which is brazen and hilarious! The pickings were slim by the time I got there at 11:30am which makes sense. I will have to go again in the morning to try some of their socially doughnuts! The Boston cream doughnut I had was fresh, fluffy and delicious! I can't wait th go again!! Small note: none of the doughnuts are vegan.

Ham egg and cheese on a hard roll

Got and egg and cheese with ham on a hard roll and a small coffee. $9.04. The ham was a $2.14 add on to the egg and cheese. I only got one lousy piece of ham on the sandwich. The egg and cheese was good but for an extra $2 I expect more ham than ONE deli slice of ham. Complete rip off. They need to give more value. Would've been happier without it and saving $2 cause the rest of the sandwich was good.

This is my favorite donut shop. The donuts are large cakey happiness. The flavor options are plentiful and oh so tasty. On several occasions, I've brought a couple dozen of these in to work to make workshops less painful. Now people ask me to bring them all the time and are really disappointed if I don't! They are definite crowd pleasers. Some of my favorites include - coconut - toasted coconut - chocolate toasted coconut - red velvet -blueberry cake -maple bacon with real bacon -so many more... The coffee is pretty good and they have flavored syrups. The egg sandwiches are really good but will take a while because they make them from scratch. Maybe you can call ahead to order them? Not sure. Bottom line is, this place rocks and it's my favorite donut spot.

Why did it take me so long to enter this shop? I donno, I drive past it almost everyday. One of the best old fashioned donuts I've ever had... I walked in at around noon ... the shelves were almost depleted ... all were gone just a couple left so I had very few to choose from apple filled, glazed , marble frosted, fritters and the blueberry cake.... and that's what I picked the blueberry cake, very crumbley more cake like (as the name suggests) and less Donut like.... had a crisscross pattern on it and was lightly glazed you could see the blueberries peeking through it. All you need to know, tastes like heaven and extremely fresh donuts. If you get there early enough you will have plenty to choose from all kinds of shapes too. They also have croissants, muffins and most importantly coffee.

Great donuts! Go early in the day to get good selection. My favorite is the maple bacon, and they have the best glazed donuts I've ever had.

You can also check their menu online. I ordered the NY Classic and a homemade banana nut muffin; both tasted fresh and delicious. I also tried two frozen smoothies, passion fruit and mango piña colada, and they were very tasty. For pickle lovers, they currently have a Steve's Long Island pickle sandwich on the menu, which looked like a fun and unique option. They have a self-service coffee station and a full staff working the floor. Since it was my first time, the staff was very helpful and gave suggestions on things to try. Even though it was busy; with a mixed crowd dining in and phone orders constantly coming in; the line moved quickly and I didn't wait long at all. They even brought the food to where I was sitting. You can see straight into the kitchen, which looked very clean and organized. I also noticed they're active on social media, which is nice to see from a local business. Freshly made food, quick service, and great customer service. I'll definitely be back.

Yea, I absolutely hated this place. Sorry, I was supposed to start with the positive. The ONLY…read morepositive was that the food was good! Bagel was a little dry, and paying $1.50 for cream cheese and only getting it on one side of the bagel, whack! Anyway, I tried Stevie's for the first time today and I was very optimistic. As soon as I walked in, I noticed three employees backstage (yes, backstage while I was waiting on someone to come centerstage and actually work, they were just prepping), not one of them was at the cash register, ready to take my order, and no one even greeted me as I stood there for almost a minute. Now granted, one girl was clearly making an order, there was a guy on the phone, so there was only one possible employee that could have been at the register.. instead she was walking back and forth behind the bagels doing nothing. I watched her scratch her head and pat her scarf like she had just rolled out of bed! She intentionally avoided even looking toward the register, and seeing as how there's a bell on the door, I'm sure she knew I was there! Anyway, she finally, but slowly saunters toward the front, but stops at the girl making a sandwich to ask, "is she waiting for something?" I'M WAITING FOR YOU, GIRL!!!! WTF!!! I started to leave right then, especially after she looked dead at me, before asking the other girl was I waiting for something! She walks up "are you ready to order?" I started to leave again, because who greets a customer like that?! I said, "HI. GOOD MORNING." She stared at me like "I already greeted you when I asked if you were ready to order." At this point, her sour demeanor and nasty unprofessionalism have taken my mood from pleasant to irritated. As I stared at the menu with no prices. I asked what types of cream cheese they had. The other girl from backstage happened to be walking by the cash register and she points to a print out. With all the thousands of overhead, up top, beneath, and side menus, text, words, fonts, and colors everywhere I had missed it. The girl standing there like I interrupted her nap, says "Yea it's right there, I didn't realize you couldn't see it." SMART ASS!!! I said, I'll get the garlic & herb on a spinach bagel. She rings it up. It says sun-dried tomato cream cheese on the small screen, I ask her if that's a mistake or if it rings up that way? (I am allergic to tomato, so I MUST ASK.) She says nothing, but instead prints out the ticket, where she shows me her note at the bottom, "sub garlic & herb" she then says "I heard what you said, you're right here, I just had to ring it up that way because there's no button for garlic&herb." I tell her that it didn't show her note on the payment screen, so I just wanted to make sure. Her attitude is literally making me sick!!! It's so unneccsarily sarcastic and nasty for no reason!! If I wasn't hungry and on a time crunch, I would've found another, cleaner, more pleasant and professional place to get a bagel. I spent over $10 on a meat-less bagel with less than a spoonful of cream cheese. smh. If I owned this place, I would do a complete renovation, deep clean, and fire the entire team and rehire people that will at least have some sense of customer service, professionalism, and sanitary food handling skills. I won't be back, which is a shame, because that was a damn good bagel.

The still tastes good, with some exceptions. The frier oil seemed burnt, so the pickle chips we had just had that little bit of carbon taste on them. The pickle chips batter was very thick, and the mayo was the only respite. The sandwich, still tasty, seemed much smaller than normal, the meat still had good flavor, but the portion was lighter in comparison. The prices are also a bit high. The sandwich coming out to about 15 bucks. The bargain is very much gone now, and the portion is okay for a sandwich but pricy because of this shrinkage. Not shown are the overcooked onion rings. We returned those and the server promptly removed them from the bill. So really good customer service. I opted for a brownie for dessert, and the brownie was a disappointment. Too sugary, no flavor, gummy, and disappointingly small and thin. A detractor for sure. As a deli, it feels like it's on the decline. I know things are pricier now, but what you pay vs what you get doesn't match up. I'm hoping they pivot from this path, but right now it's no longer my go-to. It's still tasty, just pricy

A stop on the way back to UCONN when I was a student there. The "go to" place after our kids' school events. Shortly after we moved to Manchester, over 38 years ago, the restaurant was closed for renovations. We were looking forward to seeing the revamped restaurant. Well, we were even more surprised when we stepped in the door - nothing had changed! Cleaner, perhaps new Naugahyde on the seats, but that mural on the wall was the same - those elves were timeless. When you sit down, you get a small paper cup of water. The menus are on the the wall - soups, sandwiches & ice cream. I'd always heard they had a patent on the way their cheeseburgers were made - a burger topped with crispy cheese. A must have. Prior to Covid, the condiments tray had ketchup, mustard & chopped onions. Now, there are packets of the condiments. No onions though. We shared an order of fries - crispy & good. I was too full to have ice cream after our meal, so we brought a half gallon (yes - a real half gallon) of our favorite flavor home - chocolate almond joy. Yum! Note - you need cash. No cards. There is an ATM in the restaurant.

Since it's a popular choice, expect crowds til late afternoon for lunch. I didn't notice their breakfast menu among those posted on the walls, but apparently it is served til 11am. As for lunch, the cole slaw is surprisingly superior to most if not all other diners/cafes. Though prices have increased with inflation, still a great value and more competitive than many other comparable places in the state. Furthermore, the consistent taste and nostalgic ambiance are all still intact. Main offerings are between-bread - i.e., sandwiches, so limited options if you have dietary restrictions like having to eat gluten-free (soups contain gluten; I didn't ask if any of the platters could be made GF though), but their iconic fried cheese is still available as an a la carte side. Ice cream flavors include seasonal highlights like pumpkin chocolate chip, and their shakes are generous and delicious. I recommend asking what additional flavors they have available that are not listed on the wall menu. If there are kids in your party, be sure to look out for the table placard with the Children's Menu; the kids in our group enjoyed the chicken platter which included fries, a drink, and 2 substantial breaded chicken fillets.
