I want to add my thoughts on this restaurant. They definitely enjoy their music and it can occasionally be very loud. Their burgers and chicken sandwiches are unique and tasty and they have a fun menu to choose from. I would recommend Killer Burger mainly because of its friendly staff. So we stopped here on our way through Eugene because they had a vegan burger on their menu and I was starving after being in a car all day. When we came in and walked up to the ordering station, I asked for the vegan burger though they made you select a normal option from the menu to replace the patty with. Problem is all specialties have bacon. And cheese. And even the grilled onions are cooked in bacon grease. So as I learned this (and thanks to the cashier who thought to ask) I quickly realized my $11 burger was simply a patty, lettuce, and to accommodate, some chopped up onions. Tried this place for the first time since moving to Eugene a few months ago. We ordered a classic burger and the Jose Mendoza, unfortunately the burger was missing on our classic burger which was a huge disappointment since there was a long wait to get the food and it wasn't near our house. Once in awhile even vegetarians would like a greasy, cheesy, and messy burger. Unfortunately, this can be challenging to find. Veggie patties are mostly misses than hits with them being too dry, too crumbly, and too boring. That's why I love the 'going green' option at killer burger. It's such a satisfying burger that fits in the vegetarian diet. My go to is always the 'fun-guy'. A burger drenched in cheese and fried mushrooms. Located in the perfect place in the middle of downtown Eugene this is a great place to eat at. During the summer there is some great outdoor seating, but still plenty available inside as well. I've been wanting to try this burger joint since I moved to Eugene 2 years ago... specifically for the bizarre peanut butter bacon pickle burger. But holy. Hell. It was so good. It wasn't really what I was expecting, but then again I really don't know what I was expecting because who puts peanut butter on a burger..? The peanut butter was seasoned heavily and resembled peanut sauce used in Thai food so it was more tangy than sweet. Burger was juicy and the house sauce / mayo combo was bomb. Definitely try it, even if the name of it scares you, because why not, when else would you? 10/10 would eat again. Not going to lie, the fries suck. They need some serious seasoning (rosemary or Cajun would be cool). Also an option for tots wouldn't be a bad idea. After trying it once, I found myself back for more later that week because it's that good. I think the worst part about this place is deciding on what burger to order because they all look / sound so delicious. I ordered the Classic Burger this time after changing my mind about ten times. It was pretty standard. The pattys are soo good and cooked just right and I'm obsessed with the fact that every burger comes with bacon. I can only speak for delivery and one item. But if you're in the mood for an old school juicy burger that hits all the notes the "Meathead" is the best burger in town at the moment IMO. Two perfectly cooked patties with just the right amount fatty goodness, cheese, grilled onions and bacon. I add a couple pickles and it becomes the best bite of burger around. The quality of the burger was 5 stars! everything about it was delicious. For me, the bun is one of the most important parts of a hamburger; if its hard or just too much bread it ruins the burger. Here is a how-to guide for ordering, based off of my experience. Step 1- ensure you are the first in line of your group. Order your burger from Cashier #1 (he'll make an appearance later) and receive an order number. Step 2- Find a table. The other members of your group will receive their food after about 30 minutes. The waiter will say "I'll check on yours." He won't. Step 3- Wait until the other members of your group have finished their meals, then go inside to check on your order. The cashier will say "They're wrapping it up right now." They aren't. Step 4- Wait for another 5 minutes, then ask another cashier about your order. He'll say "Should be about 20 minutes." At this point you may be a bit confused and frustrated. Step 5- You might question this and mention your group has already finished and you've been waiting for about 45 minutes for a standard burger, watching wistfully as other customer's burgers come and go. Cashier #2 will have some kind words for you. "Sorry." Step 6- If you are persistent with Cashier #2, he may point you back to Cashier #1 and subtly say "He should be able to 'hook you up.'" Step 7- Do as he says. Ask Cashier #1 if you can add your burger back to the queue, since it seems to have been forgotten. He'll say something along the lines of "That's not how it works here." Don't be deterred. They are just testing you. Step 8- If you continue to ask Cashier #1 about the order, he will look back to see that your order has actually made its way to the queue, after paying its dues idling by as orders that follow it get fulfilled. Step 9- Keep an eye on your burger as it gets cooked. If you break eye contact it may disappear back into the abyss. Make sure to check in with your group and let them know you'll just meet them at home. Step 10- The glorious moment has finally arrived. Your burger is ready. Make sure to thank Cashier #1, Cashier #2, and Waiter #1, which you had preemptively tipped well at the time of ordering. Without their incredibly mediocre efforts and lack of service in the face of adversity, you may never have received the burger you ordered an hour prior. Step 11- Enjoy. read more

Not a fan of Killer Burger anymore!!! Now happy hour is more expensive and they are taking the penny pinching to a max, because they now charge for ranch, which used to be no charge. Good food, but not at regular prices which are pretty up there and then you make it a metro and goes even higher. Restaurant has a good vibe. Great burgers; my favorite is the Teemah, with bleu cheese. My sister is a big fan of the Black Molly, which isn't a regular menu item any longer (it was back for a limited time when we stopped in). Sis says the Jose Mendoza is also pretty good, and if it wasn't for the Teemah that's what I would have gotten. Parking is hit-or-miss since it's downtown and you're relying on street parking. read more
