Ordered Papa burger with onion rings. Burger was ok. A little sloppy to eat. Bun got soggy. Ended up just eating the meat pattie's. Onion rings were hot and crispy. My dining companions french fries were luke warm and not very appealing. Cheese curds were great. A&W has the best cheese curds.......when they're hot and fresh. Store only had one working restroom. Went to KFC for dinner after a long day and ordered a 3 piece chicken strip meal. Came home and opened my box and realized then that I was missing some items from my order. I also didn't have strips. They were bite size pieces of chicken. I live about 15 minutes away and didn't want to hassle of running back to get the order corrected. Next time, I need to check my order before I leave. What does one say. A standard YUM brand fast food outlet. However, until there's other options, the only other choice is the fried chicken in the mega-mart. They don't have drive through. So, every now and again I find myself in the drive through letting the Colonel cook for me. There is a reasonable number of choices. It's not burgers (unless you want the truly awful A&W burgers). 7:30 pm Extraordinarily slow service. The cash register was hardly even manned. I had to wait at the register for over 10 minutes to even have someone come to the register to take an order. Then wait almost 20 minutes for the food. This isn't even counting the three people in front of me who had the same wait time. Get your work flow in order or hire more people. read more

Health Code Violation!!!! OMIGOSH I was horrified tonight. As we were waiting in line at the Orem Utah KFC a customer came in to return his chicken. He had ordered original but was given extra crispy. The worker proceeded to take the customers chicken and PUT IT BACK IN THE WARMER. I jumped in and exclaimed "You can't do that! You cannot serve that chicken to other people." Oh oops was the workers response. Needless to say, other customers were grossed out too. We left without ordering. The food is as to be expected normal KFC flavour, but!!! This is about their service. Ridiculously slow to take your order. They cater to the drive thru. They have one person taking indoor orders and then serving those orders. They could have a line of 10 people and it doesn't matter to them, they will take 1 maybe 2 orders and then walk away from the cash register to start handling the food. Hire more people and have someone taking orders and only doing that during the lunch rush. Its isn't hard to use common sense read more

This use to be one our favorite places to go. Not only has the food quality gone down hill, but the service is horrible. We waited for our order for 40 minutes. The food is good, but the cashier would take orders then serve food without washing his hands, and he didn't look like he had good hygiene to begin with. I am not sure why I continue to come to this particular KFC. In the last couple of years this place has got completely in the crapper. The service is abysmal and although the food is usually up to standard, it would almost be quicker if you went to North Lehi and ordered from Popeyes. The staff is extraordinary slow and can't seem to focus on more than one thing at a time. It seems like there are always quite a few people working, but nobody seems to be doing anything behind the counter. When I walked in a girl was taking an order and one other person was in front of me. He waited 10 minutes to pay for 2 jugs refilled of root beer and I waited another 5 waiting for her to fill them and take my order. In the meantime, two people walked up and asked where their orders were. The cashier told her it would be another 8 minutes after she had alreiady waited 15 for her A&W burgers. If nothing else, I'm hoping this review will be a reminder to never patronize this establishment ever again. The only reason I'm even giving 2 stars is the chicken is up to corporate standards and my order waa correct. read more

Around 7 pm out took 20 minutes in line, them waited another 20 minutes fit our food, it was the driest chicken I've ever had. They were out of almost ask the chicken, so we took what they had to speed things up. We ended up with 10 pieces of grilled, dry, tasteless chicken. Worse, we'd ordered a 12 piece, and paid for a 12 and only got 10. The place was a mess, sticky all over the floor, no ice in the ice maker. What a terrible experience. They seriously cannot get your order correct! Shorted chicken strips, popcorn chicken that is only batter--no chicken. I haven't gotten the sauces I ordered for the past 3 times. I even asked the employee to confirm that they put honey mustard and honey in BECAUSE I didn't get them the last 2 times, and she replied, yes they are in there! We had an awful experience here. When we placed our order for one bucket of original and one bucket of extra crispy, the girl informed us that they were out of breasts in original, so they would substitute other pieces. I told her they ought to give us ten pieces, and after checking she said they could do that. (Why did I have to ask for that? It should have been offered..) I asked for two extra thighs, an attempt to still get the value for what we paid. We got up to the window and they handed us the order, then told us they were running out if thoughts so had given us drumsticks instead. REALLY?? I tried several times to get the kids to understand the difference between a breast and a drumstick, but they insisted repeatedly that they had given us to extra pieces and there was nothing else they could do for us. I finally asked to speak with the manager, a lovely woman who told the kids to give us two thighs. She's great, but the young employees needed some serious instruction on how to treat paying customers! I'm honestly not likely to return to this KFC because that's not how to run a successful establishment. First of all, if you see you are running low on pieces in a weekend night, start cooking them BEFORE you run out. And if you do run out, you offer something of the same value to compensate for what you don't have, rather than hoping the customer's not savvy enough to know they're being ripped off. read more

I've been going to this KFC for 20 yrs. I'm hooked for life. But this store has a long-standing reputation for giving anemic-sized portions for the price you pay. Every other store location in the state is fine, but I really don't like french-fry-size chicken strips that cost $1.25 each. You asked for fry sauce and a chocolate-chip cookie-you'll be lucky if you live close to KFC in Orem because you'll have to go back to get one or both of the items. This place has really gone down hill. A few years ago if you went there during the day time the owner was there working his butt off and making sure things were right. I think it must have changed hands as I haven't seen him for a long time and apparently the new owner doesn't come by to check on things and obviously doesn't care. I stopped by today at 12:15. It was busy. The guy taking the orders at the counter was really slow. The guy in front of me wanted to order crispy chicken but was told they wouldn't have any for several minutes. Wow, right at their rush hour they're out of some of their chicken. I ordered two simple 3 piece meals to go along with a cake. While waiting for my food two different people brought their orders back to the counter and said they were wrong. Mine was correct but from the time I walked in until the time I walked out was 25 minutes. Thinking I'll be trying that new chicken place on Center Street. This place really needs help. read more
