Butter cake was the best dessert of my life, hands down.
    Jacob H.

Fantastic music and food with smooth service. I wondered what to expect when visiting this jazz club with a restaurant inside. Having dined at most of the Robert Wiedmaier restaurants, I had high expectations, which were met, and in the case of the butter cake, exceeded. My date and I took our seats in the warm lounge, which had warm lighting and elegant wood tones. Beautiful. Our servers were prompt and took our orders and requests with ease. Both of us ordered burgers with fries and some cocktails, which we enjoyed. Now for the music: blown away. While I wasn't particularly focused on the jazz, the vocalist was so talented that I had to pay attention. It was that good. I'll have to assess whether that is true in more cases, but in this case, the tickets were well worth it. Back to the most crucial element: the butter cake is the best dessert my partner and I have ever had, with a rich salted caramel sauce that blew me away. I plan to return just to order it again! Keystone Korner is a fantastic date site that I recommend without hestitation.

I attended a tribute to Mary J. Blige. It was my first time at this jazz club, and I was pleasantly surprised. I think the stage could probably be a little bit bigger because there are seats where you can barely see anything and you have to use the screens mounted on the wall. But it's such a small cozy intimate club that you want to be able to see the stage and not use the screen so make sure you get your tickets early so you can get the best viewpoint. The performer was OK. The stage area was a little bit kind of antiquated, but the rest of the club made up for it. Our server was so attentive and sweet. The drinks were good and the food was amazing. I had a burger and the actual meat patty itself was seasoned...like homemade. Plan accordingly.... there is a required two menu item minimum per person.

What a gem of a place this is! I went here for the first time to see Kenyatta the Band play and I was so happy that I finally got a change to come by. It was a sold out show. It's a Jazz restaurant with the perfect lighting, vibes and jazz artwork nicely decorated throughout the area. I sat at the bar and loved the soft glow of the lights up top once the band started to play. The food was delicious, service was great and the stage set up was perfect for any seat in the house as they also have big screen tvs so you don't miss a thing. This is the perfect place to watch an intimate jazz performance and enjoy some good food. They have a great lineup of performers throughout each month and now that's I've finally made it here, I will definitely be back!

This was my first visit to this venue. It definitely did not disappoint. Parking can be challenging, I recommend taking Uber if it's a feasible alternative. The interior is a moody lounge jazz speakeasy vibe. There's complimentary coat check by the front door. The drinks were delicious, the food was good, the service we received was so-so. Our server never looped back around to check in on our party until it was time to pay the bill. Unfortunately I have experienced this before in venues where the gratuity is built into the billing. The show was amazing and the acoustics were great. I am looking forward to future performances at this venue.

Came for the vibes, stayed for the saxophone. Service? Top tier. They treated me like I was Beyoncé's cousin or something. Attentive, friendly, and they didn't act weird when I asked ten questions about the cocktail menu. The food? Ehh. It wasn't bad, but it also wasn't giving grandma's cooking. It was giving... slightly seasoned effort. I ate it, but I wasn't texting my group chat about it. The wedge salad was amazing!!!!!! Now the drinks? Whew. Strong enough to make you text your ex and then block them again before the second round. Whoever is behind the bar clearly understands the assignment. The real star of the night though? That jazz band. When I tell you they were blowing like rent was due tonight. I almost threw a shoe on stage in appreciation. They had me in a whole mood, swaying like I had rhythm. Would I come back? Absolutely. Just maybe after I eat somewhere else. But I'll be posted up by the band with a strong drink and good intentions.

We had reservations tonight to come and listen to Carmen Santana and her band @ Keystone Korner in BMo . We ordered drinks and appetizers from the menu. Two orders of oysters and an order of chicken wings. To drink I had a lemon drop with sugar on the rim, two Michelob beers and a sangria. I Love the VIBE in this place. Ambiance is Fire. The service is Great; our server was Corri and he was excellent. The Live Music was off the Chain. Overall experience was DEFINITELY 5 Stars.

Beer battered Bronzino and brussel sprouts (sorry already half eaten)

Bestie time! Chrisette Michele owes me nothing but if I wasn't sitting at the bar I would've probably thrown my shoe!!! Her voice and talent, she's a master at her craft!!! The seats were great!! Bartender was stellar. Food delicious! I had cream of crab which was flavorful with some chunks of crabmeat throughout. Not lump but still tasty. For an entree beer battered Bronzino and brussel sprouts. Let me just say I've never heard of this high end fish being fried. But they nailed it! Batter was crispy, fried hard just like I like it but the actual fish was meaty, flaky and not greasy! Always love the vibe and the monitors everywhere ensure you see from anywhere you sit.

Music and vibes were 10/10. We visited on a Saturday evening, as this was a special Mother's Day gift from my husband and the cover band - a favorite of our friends' - did not disappoint. I would love to give them 5 stars but the food - specifically the meat (sirloin) - was disappointing. It has no seasoning, not even salt. The sides were great as was my French 75. I also ordered the crab dip and that was delicious. We will return, but I think I'll ordered drinks and apps and then plan to enjoy dinner elsewhere.

    Butter Cake Me Baby!

After fine dining in Baltimore my sweetie pie took me to Keystone Korner to see live music, it's my fave! We were seated in what appeared to be the VIP table but nope we just got lucky and were seated on a high top, center stage. (He picked the seats because we did prepay, good job baby) The ambiance is that of a typical venue that has music. Restaurant, stage, pictures of all the most popular music artist from all decades. Loved that! We started with cocktails, they were good! After about an hour we locked eyes and well we both wanted to try something off their menu. I asked for Butter Cake, he opted for Char-Broiled Chesapeake Oysters. I was presented my Butter Cake and I was in Heaven. I first made love with my eyes and then I devoured the whole cake. I did share with my baby, he closed his eyes and made a loud love grunt. (Mmm Mmm Mmm ermahgerd - he said it while he had the cake in his mouth) He is not even a big sweet eater but he liked this one. The cake was to die for. Cake should not be that good. I yelled OMG a few times. May have praised God in there too with my praise and worship hands up in the air. Yeah, it was that good. His oysters must have been a hit because by the time I finished loving on the cake, I looked over and they were gone. Food was a hit from the two choices we picked. Drinks were great! Music a hit! What's not to love about Keystone Korner? Cute little note, our MC looked like he had been MC'ing since the place opened. What a special thing to see. Commitment, love, and admiration for the venue. He made the night super cool! Definitely recommend, especially for the music. But if you're coming just to come, buy the Butter Cake. I promise you'll love me for putting you on.

Lump Crab cake sandwich with fries

Went to checkout this spot while in town with a friend, it was a nice intimate setting. Originally, the table we requested was at the front with some other folks but the host gave us the option to go to another table and sit by ourselves (not sure why but it worked out). Waiting staff was attentive and helpful. I ordered the crab cake sandwich with fries. It was a good serving and I couldn't finish it all. Not gratuity is already included in your bill, I didn't realize and added additional

Great smooth jazz show! It's been a minute since we lasted visited. They now have a 2 item order minimum with a 20% gratuity charge added to each check. The seats we got were good. The first row of tables near the stage. They have other seats with good views BUT they also have seating with obstructive views as well. To make up for that, they have monitors around so you can still see the show. I would encourage you to look at the seating chart when ordering tickets to ensure you get the seats you want. We ordered the buffalo wings, which arrived sort of lukewarm, a Baltimore Sour, which was a really tasty alcoholic drink, and two Coronas (we had to each satisfy the two item per person minimum). When I come to venues that serve food, I never plan on eating a full course meal, so the app and drinks were the way to. If you are not the alcoholic drinking type, they have soda, coffee, and juice as well. The performance we saw and heard was outstanding! They have a variety of artists and you can peruse their full calendar of events. They even offer some concerts for streaming, if that's more your thing. We parked at the city parking garage two blocks down the street, which was convenient. All in all, a great place to take in a jazz concert in downtown Baltimore.

Maybe I had too high of expectations of this place. The photos online gave me the impression that it was an intimate jazz club vibe. That's not what I experienced. The layout is just off to me. Feels like just a regular bar/restaurant with a small area in front of the stage. I'm sure you have to pay extra for those "VIP seats" and be there very early. Visited this past Friday for a tribute to the late Phylis Hyman. Had to look her up, but the band did a great job, and I enjoyed the music and the company. I did not enjoy sitting at the bar and having to mostly look at the performance via the TV screens at the bar. It was very awkward. Occasionally, I was able to look at the stage but still felt far away. They have a limited food menu. I wasn't too hungry anyway. I got the bread pudding, which was decent. I had the "Baltimore Sour," a whiskey based cocktail topped with red wine. It was ok. I felt service could have been better. The main bartender seemed a bit annoyed. I'm sure it was overwhelming having to deal with so many people. Parking wasn't too bad. Found street parking, but there's also some nearby garages. I don't really see myself coming back here.

There were some buildings lit up and trees lined with lights, but where were all the main attractions and interactive displays? With so many people and the event so spread out, I felt it was hard to really find anything. The displays we did see (after waiting in long lines) were underwhelming. Mini light city was a cool idea, but on the night we went, it started closer to 6pm (rather than 5pm). I think the highlight of the evening was Impulse (sit on one end of the seesaw to see lights and hear some sounds as you go up and down) and The Pool (hope on circular platforms as they change color). If you start on the wrong end, you'll miss the nightly parade. The festival did offer a variety of food and beverage stands throughout, which was a nice touch. If you aren't already spending the day in Baltimore, I wouldn't make a trip specifically for this festival. If you do go, make sure you check out the schedule and map before hand to maximize your experience. Be prepared for massive crowds!
