I had my first experience at Keystone Korner for the sold out Destin Conrad show - we had a great time and look forward to another opportunity to visit. The entry process into the venue was really straight forward and smooth - we arrived about 40 minutes ahead of the concert and were led very quickly to our seats at the bar. They were very well prepared for the event - there were alot of staff, bartenders, and waiters catering to guests needs. The food and drink options were really nice. I had the burger, which was GREAT, and my girlfriend had the brisket sandwich which she really enjoyed too. The fries might've been the highlight of the meal though; they were wonderfully seasoned and fresh. I kept it simple with a bottled beer and she had a reisling - no complaints at all on our drinks. Shoutout to our bartender; she was very attentive even though the space was completely sold out. I like that the majority of the seats in the venue have at least a partial view of the stage. For those seats that are out of stage view, there are plenty of TV screens scattered around and above the bar to give everyone a chance at viewing the stage. I do think that the sound quality could be improved - we sat a little ways away from stage and definitely fought through some distorted or unclear sound. Maybe a speaker or two in the back of the venue would help. Perhaps it was because Destin's show was very popular, but we had ALOT of trouble buying our tickets online. Their site stalled or crashed several times while we were trying to purchase tickets. Would've loved to have a smoother purchase experience. This place has alot of soul; it's a perfect date night spot. Would happily come back again to see other artists, musicans, and vocalists. read more

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO: You are REQUIRED to purchase *at least two menu items per person in your party.* This is not disclosed when you book tickets for a show or reserve a table. OVERALL: The music is great, the vibe is great, the service and food are fine. It's just all about the ambiance at the tables (which is the entire club) and talent on stage! The tricky thing with venues that have a minimum order requirement is I feel compelled to rate them also then on what they're making you do, not just what the venue's real heart and soul is about. FOOD AND SERVICE: I've been here a few times now and the food and service are consistently 3 stars. It's a limited menu with entrées averaging around $30, apps and cocktails generally about $15. Some of what comes out doesn't actually match the description on the menu, which is further disappointment. But that's not why you go: It's all about the ambiance and the jazz music. I've been to some venues that require a minimum order and some that don't. My biggest issue is if it's a rule, it NEEDS to be communicated when you're paying for your tickets. It's currently not, and that's one of my biggest gripes. We first found out about this req only after paying $200+ for our non-refundable tickets, specifically, at our table when we opened our menus to order. (We'd bought 4 tickets as a gift; our friends were on a budget; and half of us weren't drinking, so we'd just planned to share an appetizer or two. None of us walked in expecting to drop an extra $40/person--an unpleasant surprise.) FYSA they also have a silence policy during shows, so if you want to chat, plan to arrive in advance of the show. Wasn't an issue for us and is very reasonable to expect, but noting here since it's also not actually mentioned on the website, and if you're new to the scene, you may not realize that. There is a two drink two food minimum, but well worth it for a great date night. The service was quick and the bartender was very knowledgeable. Fantastic music and food with smooth service. I wondered what to expect when visiting this jazz club with a restaurant inside. Having dined at most of the Robert Wiedmaier restaurants, I had high expectations, which were met, and in the case of the butter cake, exceeded. My date and I took our seats in the warm lounge, which had warm lighting and elegant wood tones. Beautiful. Our servers were prompt and took our orders and requests with ease. Both of us ordered burgers with fries and some cocktails, which we enjoyed. Now for the music: blown away. While I wasn't particularly focused on the jazz, the vocalist was so talented that I had to pay attention. It was that good. I'll have to assess whether that is true in more cases, but in this case, the tickets were well worth it. Back to the most crucial element: the butter cake is the best dessert my partner and I have ever had, with a rich salted caramel sauce that blew me away. I plan to return just to order it again! I attended a tribute to Mary J. Blige. It was my first time at this jazz club, and I was pleasantly surprised. I think the stage could probably be a little bit bigger because there are seats where you can barely see anything and you have to use the screens mounted on the wall. But it's such a small cozy intimate club that you want to be able to see the stage and not use the screen so make sure you get your tickets early so you can get the best viewpoint. The performer was OK. The stage area was a little bit kind of antiquated, but the rest of the club made up for it. Our server was so attentive and sweet. The drinks were good and the food was amazing. I had a burger and the actual meat patty itself was seasoned...like homemade. What a gem of a place this is! I went here for the first time to see Kenyatta the Band play and I was so happy that I finally got a change to come by. It was a sold out show. It's a Jazz restaurant with the perfect lighting, vibes and jazz artwork nicely decorated throughout the area. I sat at the bar and loved the soft glow of the lights up top once the band started to play. The food was delicious, service was great and the stage set up was perfect for any seat in the house as they also have big screen tvs so you don't miss a thing. This is the perfect place to watch an intimate jazz performance and enjoy some good food. They have a great lineup of performers throughout each month and now that's I've finally made it here, I will definitely be back! read more

This was my first visit to this venue. It definitely did not disappoint. Parking can be challenging, I recommend taking Uber if it's a feasible alternative. The interior is a moody lounge jazz speakeasy vibe. There's complimentary coat check by the front door. The drinks were delicious, the food was good, the service we received was so-so. Our server never looped back around to check in on our party until it was time to pay the bill. Unfortunately I have experienced this before in venues where the gratuity is built into the billing. Came for the vibes, stayed for the saxophone. Service? Top tier. They treated me like I was Beyoncé's cousin or something. Attentive, friendly, and they didn't act weird when I asked ten questions about the cocktail menu. The food? Ehh. It wasn't bad, but it also wasn't giving grandma's cooking. I've never been to this restaurant and I jumped at the chance to go. It was cool, sophisticated and smooth. The band was pleasing to the ear playing music from Quincy jones, the gap band and Brenda Russell to name a few. One player I swear played every instrument known to man up there. The band was introduced by the restaurant's owner who is a legend in his own right. The waitress was friendly and prompt. I had the deviled eggs, Caesar salad and lemon drop martini. I feel like I should write a review just about the butter cake alone. It was warm, buttery and crispy on the edges topped with cool smooth vanilla ice cream. After fine dining in Baltimore my sweetie pie took me to Keystone Korner to see live music, it's my fave! We were seated in what appeared to be the VIP table but nope we just got lucky and were seated on a high top, center stage. Great smooth jazz show! It's been a minute since we lasted visited. They now have a 2 item order minimum with a 20% gratuity charge added to each check. The seats we got were good. The first row of tables near the stage. They have other seats with good views BUT they also have seating with obstructive views as well. To make up for that, they have monitors around so you can still see the show. I would encourage you to look at the seating chart when ordering tickets to ensure you get the seats you want. We ordered the buffalo wings, which arrived sort of lukewarm, a Baltimore Sour, which was a really tasty alcoholic drink, and two Coronas (we had to each satisfy the two item per person minimum). When I come to venues that serve food, I never plan on eating a full course meal, so the app and drinks were the way to. If you are not the alcoholic drinking type, they have soda, coffee, and juice as well. The performance we saw and heard was outstanding! They have a variety of artists and you can peruse their full calendar of events. They even offer some concerts for streaming, if that's more your thing. I would have given a higher review. But I was appalled that the manager was so dismissive and insensitive about a mouse running around by my foot. He could have said he was sorry and sent us wine or a dessert. Instead, he said "it's Baltimore, we are over 4 feet of water" as if dining with mice was not an issue. My husband became an exterminator last night and killed the mouse. The guests clapped and thanked him. The bartender was very nice and offered my husband a drink. This manager said he didn't care if I wrote a bad review. So here it is. You're welcome. Never going back if this manager is still there and if the mice are still there as if they are guests. My first visit was on 2/20/26 to see a Tribute to Teena Marie and Stephanie Mills. The show was awesome, the food was wonderful and the customer service was excellent. The ambiance is very warm and welcoming. We will definitely visit again soon. read more

Maybe I had too high of expectations of this place. The photos online gave me the impression that it was an intimate jazz club vibe. That's not what I experienced. The layout is just off to me. Feels like just a regular bar/restaurant with a small area in front of the stage. I'm sure you have to pay extra for those "VIP seats" and be there very early. Visited this past Friday for a tribute to the late Phylis Hyman. Had to look her up, but the band did a great job, and I enjoyed the music and the company. I did not enjoy sitting at the bar and having to mostly look at the performance via the TV screens at the bar. It was very awkward. Occasionally, I was able to look at the stage but still felt far away. They have a limited food menu. I wasn't too hungry anyway. I got the bread pudding, which was decent. I had the "Baltimore Sour," a whiskey based cocktail topped with red wine. It was ok. I felt service could have been better. The main bartender seemed a bit annoyed. I'm sure it was overwhelming having to deal with so many people. Parking wasn't too bad. Found street parking, but there's also some nearby garages. Keystone Korner is a jazz supper club that hosts a wide range of acts from local to world- renowned. In addition to an intimate music setting, this place has great food and drinks. This night, I just had a burger and upgraded to sweet potato fries. I asked for a med-rare burger and told my server I was serious about that temperature and they delivered. The bun was also really soft. The server asked if I wanted to upgrade to sweet potato fries and I'm glad I did. I like soft fries but these fries were both soft and crispy. I saw the regular fries on another table and I look forward to trying those when I go back. In the past I have had the salads and they are also very good. The menu is not very large, but you are there for the music. Now the drinks. There are some specialty cocktails. I started with an old fashioned because that is how I judge most bars. It was very good. I moved onto an espresso martini for dessert. It was very good and didn't skip on the alcohol. It was all alcohol but not too strong. Definitely check out Keystone Korner. It moved to Baltimore all the way from San Francisco. Most of the acts have a charge and there is a two item minimum per person at these shows with a 20% service charge. The food is just ok. They could use more severs, one you place your order you may not see your server for a while. Ambiance is very good, nice crowd and the shows are excellent. This place is pretty awesome! I don't see many venues in Baltimore offering live jazz and if they do, it's a pretty niche thing - maybe once or twice a month. Not at Keystone Korner. They have shows all the time and everyone is sooo talented! One of my favorite parts of the night was when they had an open mic portion of the set where young musicians could sign up to get on stage and play together. Many of these kids didn't even seem to know each other prior to that night which made their seamless improvisations even more impressive. They also serve food and have a full bar here. We didn't order anything to eat since we had just come from dinner but we did get some glasses of sparkling wine. Sadly, the service was pretty slow which is the reason it wasn't a five star experience. We had to chase down our server for the check and waited a bit longer for our glasses of wine than I would've expected. That said, the food smelled really good and I've read that the chef here has earned a Michelin star in his past so I'd be down to come back and see what the food menu is like. I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone seeking jazz but maybe come on a night that you have plenty of time to sit around and chill - with how good the music is, you probably won't want to leave anyways. read more

Keystone corner is one of very few places you can come and hear live music in the city. We checked out the Amy Winehouse jam session and had a great time. We had a great booth seat and the musicians killed it. You can use the garage right around the corner or if you're lucky get a spot with the street parking. I believe the garage is cheaper if it's after 6. The drinks were a bit pricey in my opinion and not that great. I recommend juts drinking straight and you will be fine. Many of the seats have obstructed or partially obstructed views so if that matters to you get your tickets early. The food is just okay - I ordered brisket which was WAY too salty (person next to me thought so too). I got a hard time about sending it back for something else (which never arrived). 20% tip is included so be aware about possibly adding more. I came here to watch the AFC championship game as my friends live at The Eden. It was a super chill place to watch the game mainly bc the sound was really low. Even though this is a jazz club (evidently very renowned artist perform here) the tv wasn't hooked up to the speaker. The food was average - the burger was on the dry side and I thought the tomato jam would add a nice acidity and umami but it made it too sweet. The bread pudding was nice and the service was pretty steady. After disappointing food (salmon & catch of the day) but incredible music on our last visit, we've decided to stick to the simple burgers. It was absolutely the right choice--the meat was juicy, and the fries were crispy. It was also reasonably priced! We had a great view of the stage, which elevated the experience even more. What a lovely, cozy spot to indulge in delicious food, drinks, and jazz! This is my first time visiting Keystone Korner and I am impressed! The service for food and drink is very fast and the staff are friendly and very helpful with orders. I ordered the Baltimore Sour, it was so delicious I would highly recommend it! Do keep in mind that there is a 2 item minimum after purchasing tickets for the show. The interior has plentiful, spacious seating. We attended a 7pm show and arrived around 6:30pm. This left us with seating mostly in the back. It is highly recommended to arrive much sooner to get better seating or to purchase premium seating. The bathrooms are clean. And there is plenty of parking options, including the Fleet and Eden parking garage just 4 minutes away from the Jazz bar. read more

I'm a fan. Wish I would have checked them out sooner. My friend and I made a a visit on a Sunday. It was a packed house. We reserve general admission tickets online but they didn't check anything still the door. We had fairly good seats, neat the stage, to the left but the 2 of us shared that table with 2 other people: We ordered an old fashion and Jameson and Ginger to start. The waitress recommended we put in food because the show was starting soon. We ordered steamed shrimp and a wedge salad to start. For dinner we ordered the crab cake platter and BBQ ribs. The appetizers came before the drinks but the drinks were lovely. We received shrimp cocktail instead of steamed shrimp. We received a summer salad of some sort (mangos, limes, arugula). While it was tasty, it wasn't what we ordered. The crab cakes would be a hard pass for me next time. They were spicy but no old bay. The ribs were good but served almost cold, a little more than lukewarm. We never received our second cocktail so we skipped desert. Loved, loved, loved the band the cocktails and the ribs were tasty. My partner bought tickets here for my birthday. We'd talked about seeing a jazz show in Baltimore and our friend recommended this place. Our entertainment for the night was the Gunhild Carling Family All Stars and they put on a great show! The drinks were good and we shared truffle fries. A lot of the audience came as soon as they opened and ordered dinner which we considered doing for next time and there will definitely be a next time. The restaurant has a warm atmosphere small stage. The business films the performance and plays it on TVs in areas where you may not see as well. I love to check out shows here. My go to are the honey old bay wings! The inside is a nice ambience. Just stinks that half the club can't see the stage and has to watch on screen.
