Great! Their fans will tell you Kazoku does not disappoint. Yes, they have fans. Right when we walked into the quaint, comfortable restaurant, customers walking out told us we were in for a treat. The friendly staff sat us quickly and helped us select an order than came out quickly. I ordered a chef's choice nigiri plate that was fresh and clean. The rice was a little stiffer than I prefer, but would absolutely prefer ideal fish than rice, and at Kazoku, that was certainly the case. The rest of the table enjoyed their meals and rolls too and it was reasonably priced. Some of the most flavorful miso soup I've ever had too!

A surprised stop while driving from Rio Rico to Chandler, small restaurant with nice and fresh selection of sushi, sashimi, etc. Everything was delicious and definitely planning to stop by anytime we are near Tucson!

The sushi was good, loved the spring rolls! Service was nice.. she was quick and helpful. It's a nice place with nice decor. We came for lunch so it wasn't busy at all, everything was fast and fresh, would come again.

Lunch was amazing today! I am a huge fan of hand rolls and this restaurant can make one out of any roll they have on their menu. I got a salmon skin hand roll and sunset hand roll. Just fantastic combo of sauces, fish and rice. The squid salad here has a very tasty sauce and the cucumbers are perfectly pickled. The service is incredibly fast and super friendly. The only thing to complain about is the cleanliness of the restaurant. I used to come here very often many years ago when it was under different management and it was much cleaner. The bathroom was down right disgusting today

They have a decently large menu selection. Service was friendly and quick. The dinner combination (got the Beef Teriyaki and tempura) was largely portioned and tasty. The sushi was decent- not bad and not spectacular.

Visited Kazoku for lunch and it was delicious! Service was quick and food was amazing. Definitely my new go to. I got a crispy crunch roll with a salmon hand roll and my fiancé got a dragon roll with an eel hand roll.

I went here for dinner tonight (Monday) and the restaurant was pretty busy. The beef yakitori appetizer is really good. I thought the roll selection is pretty basic but everything tasted fresh. I liked the Kazoku roll, the Eskimo and the spicy tuna rolls. I didn't like the Super Sake roll, it tasted too fishy for me. The Ozeki Nigiri Sake Junmai was really good.

So my husband and I have mixed feelings about this place. The ambience is nice and the service was very welcoming. However, our food was kind of so-so. My sushi was good, but our shrimp fried rice felt a little bit overcooked and I thought it was odd that they used brown rice, which I haven't seen before in shrimp fried rice. And my husband's pork was also overcooked and it didn't taste very good. We may or may not be back, it is possible another shot, but it wasn't the best first impression.

Always great sushi and delicious Korean food too. The Spicy Pork is sooo good. The prices are fair and the staff rocks.

Just as important as the yummy food, the Team is super nice and make it a real pleasure to enjoy one's meal here, as well. They are attentive, kind, appreciative and treat their guests like Family. And finally, I would be remiss if I did not say how much I love the ambiance. The baseball theme and passion for the game is evident and heartfelt. If O Sushi was a baseball team they would definitely be in the Big Leagues and they would definitely have a World Series appearance on a regular basis. Keep up the Amazing work O Sushi. Judgment of the Ahi color when it first came out I was already skeptical. Honestly there's a lot better restaurants out there with fresher fish. The salmon was the only redeeming quality. Instead of giving more fish they give Sunomono (pickled cucumber) and Korean seaweed salad I only got one cup of water and tea. Wasn't asked for a refill. Miso Soup was the machine made one so it was a bit salty.

I went for AYCE lunch on a Friday. There was no wait to be seated, but it was busy. Everything I…read morehad was pretty good. The only things I didn't care for were the miso soup and the eel cucumber hand roll. The only reason I didn't like the eel was because it had way too much eel sauce. I wish it were a little cooler in the restaurant. My server was great. I went to the restroom and a busser took my wine and water. My server replaced both right away. Another server stopped to look at my check because my debit card was sitting on top of it. He was reading my server's name so he could tell him I was ready to pay which I thought was pretty thoughtful. I will be going back and next time I'll ask them to go light on the eel sauce.

The quality is good, sashimi is reasonable portions and there is a large selection of rolls. I was frustrated by the service. 1. When I asked for a Diet Coke they brought Coke Zero. Not the same thing. #iykyk. 2. When I asked to add cream cheese to 2 of the rolls I was told "no substitutions". But then when I read "THE POLICY" which they take VERY seriously it says modifications are allowed with an up charge. I would have been happy with an up charge for my cream cheese. I also wanted no eel topper on one of the rolls - also denied based on the inaccurately referenced policy. Our server missed a chicken teriyaki on our order and we waited more than 45 min for that dish - given the 2 hour limit for AYCE (All You Can Eat) that's almost half our time allotment. When it arrived the chicken teriyaki was EXCELLENT but it doesn't come with rice. Also they use a busing cart with busing tubs and it's sort of unappetizing when they roll by your table with partially eaten food and dirty dishes while you are eating. I would eat here again but I would not get AYCE for me - it's not a good value for me personally because I barely finished 1 roll. But honestly there are other sushi places I like better - mostly because they allow the customization on the rolls. (O Sushi is just down the street but they are closed on Sunday). Overall I give this place a 7/10.

Finally !! No joke -…read morethis place has been on my hit list for nearly 2 yrs and what finally got me here was a post someone sent me about "death free foodies " vegan ramen collab here. Upon arrival we were originally told it'd be a 40min wait (I Cried inside a little ) but to our surprise a table for 4 clears up in 10min! We sat indoors but there is a vibey outdoors seating option as well . You can't beat being smack dab in the middle of downtown on Congress . Found parking pretty easy as well down the street . Love the aesthetic- dress up or dress down , anything goes here. Soooooo many veggie options for my veg heads . Ordered the veggie gyoza , spicy edamame , veggie egg rolls, death free foodie ramen , veggie "non sushi "roll , pot of tea & jack fruit bao to share with table . You know what , all the hype was on point ... the ramen may very well be the BEST in tucson . The veggie sushi was delish , had a zest to it I quite enjoyed . HIGHLY recommend checking this place out and not waiting 2 years to try it out . The service is great , food is good , location is perfect & yes you'll pay about $30 + a person here and it's so worth it .

There's lots of outdoor seating, which is really nice. Staff was pleasant and helpful.

We have been here twice in a few weeks because this is our new favorite Sushi restaurant…read more The restaurant is clean and has a simple style. The staff are very friendly. The amount of sushi you get compared to cost makes it very affordable. The plating is amazing as you can see in the photos. We opted for the combos which come with several pieces of sushi and some come with sashimi as well and rolls. The cuts of sushi were large and fresh. There was wasabi and ginger if you enjoy those. The rolls were creative and delicious. Our favorite was Ni Bistro roll followed by the Emerald. The sushi"wich" was very creative and looked like a sandwich. The Ni Bistro was full of flavor and had a lot of pieces. Overall, we highly recommend this new find on the Northwest side!

Surprisingly bad. I ordered the chicken and pineapple fried rice and a spicy tuna roll…read more Both were the worst I've had. The spicy tuna roll was especially strange - it had no flavor. I didn't know what I was eating. Eventually I could pick up some spiciness, but it was subtle. It was so bland and mushy, I wasn't even sure I was eating tuna. At one point I pulled a piece of the roll apart to take a closer look. I couldn't tell if it was tuna or not - I assume they use some kind of filler ingredients in addition to tuna (maybe that's normal for spicy tuna rolls, but they normally taste much better than this). The fried rice was the worst I've had, though still edible. The pineapple was strange in that it didn't taste like pineapple - I guess it wasn't ripe yet. So no pineapple flavor in the pineapple fried rice. Beyond that, the dish was bland. The unfortunate reality is that Tucson has low standards for Asian food, and shockingly bad places can stick around for years. Some of you remember Yokohama Rice Bowl, a local fast food chain, which was awful, and immediately displaced when Panda Express arrived, which is 10x better... It's too bad that Ni's isn't trying to do something great.
