Came to have pre -birthday dinner for my son . 15 yrs old . For sum reason it's not like it used to be ? Haven't been here in 3 yrs. N the ambiance is the same , nothing has changed in yrs. Service was average. I'm taking my food to go , didn't have time to eat my dinner. But it seems like people were in a bad mood?? We sat at a white leather booth for my family n it was so filthy. Where it hasnt been clean it just really gross me out. My fried rice had no Flavor at all . The kids were hungry and they ate their food . My rice came w specs of beef n chicken w 3 shrimp I just couldn't believe how much they have gone down. ?

Really nice atmosphere! This is the Sushi Garden off of Irvington. The good was delicious and the rolls were big! Service was also very good!

It's a nice looking place in a historic building. I've been many times over the years. But skimpflation and other forces maybe dragging it down. We ordered some appetizers that I remembered fondly and a couple rolls. The lunch specials didn't sound that exciting and seemed over priced so we went to the regular menu. First we ordered monkey brains, fried krab, and fried chicken. The brains (fried avocado stuffed with krab and spicy tuna) was just like a remembered, the fried krab was very disappointing it used to be a handful of full pieces and now its like one piece cut up, a real waste of money. Then fried chicken karage was inedible, low quality chicken that was dry and tough, in other words really bad so I sent it back. The 2 rolls we had were tasty. Service was good, no complainta there. I'm not sure I'll return.

Went here with a friend who considers this his favorite sushi source. This was my first visit at this location. We ordered a five piece combo sashimi ....tuna, yellow tail and salmon plus a caterpillar roll. The ambiance was pleasant and the service was good. The sashimi was nicely cut and overall tasty. Unfortunately the tuna was difficult to chew; it was almost like jerky when you have to tear a bite off. I forget to take a picture of the plate before we tore into it. I doubt that I would return on my own.

Came here for dinner on a busy Saturday night and was so impressed with service and food. There were about 15 of us in our party and the server was on top of everything. Our food came fast and everything tasted delicious. I had the A mountain roll, the caterpillar roll, miso soup and the gummy bear martini and it was 10/10. Restaurant looked clean and vibey. Will definitely be coming back during happy hour to try more of their rolls.

Sushi Garden is one of my top picks for Japanese fare in Tucson. They're consistent and they make things that aren't available at other places, namely their special rolls like Sunset Roll which is a rice free roll with spicy tuna, crab, tuna, avocado wrapped in soy paper. The Bulgogi rice bowl is tender and delicious as well with caramelized onions. Sake Bombs $11, yes please. Curbside pickup if you aren't feeling peopley. Comfortable half booths and tables as well as a huge sushi bar to sit at. Please don't change a thing!

Monkey Brain Freeze. Strawberry, banana, and vanilla vodka. Yum!

My friends and I met here for lunch and had a great time. We tried the tuna rolls, Albuquerque rolls, 3 types of nigiri sushi and the teriyaki chicken plate. Everything tasted great and we all had a great time! Everyone had a beer, wine or cocktail as well. I had a Monkey Brain Freeze which was delicious!

Sushi Garden SG USA Combination For 2

It had been a long time since I had visited Sushi Garden so it was nice to pay them a visit. It was perfect timing as it was busy, but not too loud. My husband and I got the USA Combo for two which was a great deal! It came with four rolls and an appetizer. All the rolls were delicious and we had edamame as our app. Our server/waiter were very attentive and did a great job of making sure we were content. My only complaint was that I was not a fan of my cocktail, but that was just personal preference.

This was not what we expected but the staff was friendly and 1/2 patrons at the food hall were eating sushi. The stalls have big energy today and lots of patrons are searching for a seat. Why not give them a chance? The menu is fairly varied for a small pop-up with traditional and deep fried sushi rolls. The female wait staff is handing out egg drop soup samples to everyone, ever those eating pizza and gyros. Looking around, these rolls are huge. We chose the Sonoran roll with shrimp tempora, spicy tuna, spicy crab topped with seared salmon and yuzu sauce. This roll was flavorful and spicy. Another roll was the Samurai with shrimp tempora, cream cheese, avacado wrapped in soy paper deep fried and covered with spicy crab / shrimp mix baked in a spicy aioli and eel sauce. This was our favorite roll with a pop in the tempora shrimp and an uncious taste coupled with a bite. Our third and final roll was the heart attack. Another spicy roll with shrimp tempora, avacado, cream cheese topped with jalepeno, spicy crab and chef sauce. Again, another good roll and a ton of food. This food mall is in an unassuming neighborhood with a smiling server who is hustling like crazy. The sushi was good, unique and tasty. It was a huge amount of food. Give this hard working staff and chance, she is enthusiastic and working hard. To the staff at Samurai Sombrero who are working hard and obviously, not a trained sushi chef. To the public, take a chance, give Samurai Sombrero a try and judge for yourself.

The menu seems a bit more fusion than traditional but a good balance of pushing boundaries without trying too hard. We made a reservation for lunch on a Sunday but were only one of three parties. We ordered quite a bit but our favorites definitely were the pork belly appetizer, the hafu roll, and the neo-genesis roll. I'd love to come back and try their ramen.

Walked in, immediately greeted and sat at the bar, our request. The hostess also our cocktail and beer server. Hubby had a delicious clarified cocktail which was absolutely yummy but at $18 a pop for a good four drinks and it's gone cocktail, ok. I know they take time to make. I had a $10 Sapporo draft. We then ordered two pork Bao Buns, two sushi rolls, the Shiro Maki and the Tataki Maki. Both really good, really well rolled, not an abundance of rice either. I am obsessed with Ramen, I decided to order the house Ramen, the Obon, without the Bonito flakes because I'm not a fan. Looked good when it came, I just wasn't happy with it. It lacked something, umami, a well developed broth, who knows, I just know it wasn't what I normally like. It gave me heartburn from hell too. Overall, $150 later I left somewhat dissatisfied and disappointed. For a Sunday, at noon, four tables worth of patrons. Not loud, not super quiet, nice ambiance. I doubt that I'll go back, if we do, it will be for their $22 rolls of sushi.

Their servers are very friendly and attentive to all customers too. I highly recommend this restaurant to all sushi lovers.
