I stumbled across this place while driving around Riverside. I noticed their new management sign and decided to give it a try. The new owners immediately greeted me and welcomed me in with open arms. They were very nice and helped me decide on the type of colors I wanted that would match my dress that I was going to be wearing to the wedding. I had the greatest time talking to them. It is a small salon but extremely clean and well built. The new owner has put in tremendous work to bring the place alive. The decorations are adorable as well. I got a gel mani and a quick pedicure. The massage chairs helped me get out the knots that have been in my back forever. I even got my eyebrows waxed, which I usually get them threaded but I trusted the owner! This place is actually under new management and is called Kayla Beauty Nails. I came in on a Saturday to get my nails done and the service was great. There were tons of colors to choose from and Kayla was very friendly. She took her time doing my nails, which I really appreciated because they came out so good. I've been getting lots of compliments from strangers. The general ambiance of the place is nice. Other than the dogs barking next door, the salon is a quiet area to unwind. The only thing I did not like was that it is next door to a liquor store with some sketchy looking guys hanging around. I've been to a lot of different places but have never really been satisfied with the way they do the chrome look until now. The price was very reasonable too, and a lot cheaper than the other places I've been to. Be sure to make an appointment if you don't like waiting though because it gets pretty busy. read more

This place is the best! It is small but has 3 amazing nail techs! Tom, Laura and Ana are great at what they do. Laura does the best pedicures compared to other places I've tried in Riverside. She was patient and helped with taking care of my ingrown toenails. Check out their Instagram pages to see how talented they are. I can't stress enough how friendly and welcoming they are. They allow walk ins but I highly highly recommend that you call in better and book appointment ahead of time. Kept seeing signs about grand re-opening and new management so I figured I'd give it a shot. Made an appointment for SNS for 3:00, arrived 3:01. After 5-10 minutes I was handed the selection of colors to choose from, I chose solid dark gray (no sparkles/spots/etc.). I began to file my own nails because I was on a time crunch and the nail technician didn't appear to be close to done with her current client. Finally at 3:25 I ask how much longer, and am told not long, and was called to the chair within 5 minutes. Typically when I get SNS they do hand and cuticle treatment but she went straight to work on the nails, which honestly was fine since my appointment was half over by the time I sat down. Her work was fine, she cut me once but apologized. They finish with gel on top and UV to set which I'm not a fan of, O avoid gel intentionally. Then, once done, I asked her why I had white spots all over my nails - I had selected solid gray. She literally pretended not to see any spots until I kept pressing (seriously - you guys can see them right?!), than finally she acknowledged them and said they were in the powder. She opened the powder and sure enough there were white and sparkle mixed with gray. I'm not sure if she grabbed the wrong powder, or if her powder was contaminated, but this is definitely not what I asked for. Going in today to get it removed, hoping they won't charge since it was their mistake. Of note they answer the phone "hello" rather than with the name of their business so don't think you got the wrong number when you call. Also the lady who answered today when I made the appointment kinda gave me attitude.. she asked what I want done 3 times and I kept saying SNS removal. By the third time I slowed down and annunciated (I'm on a cell phone, I thought maybe we had a bad connection). She laughed and said "you know I can understand you right?" and I said "oh, but you keep asking what color I want and I keep saying removal only" and finally she got it "oh take off only?". The lady I had took at least an hour getting my nails back to healthy which was fantastic that she spent that much time on them.The polish could've been better, they didn't have the specific color I wanted. Not only did he file off my GEL design he put a new design with only clear polish and I asked him for gel. Super slow, little to no choices on color. Came in for a simple pedicure and it took over an hour.

The place, looks wise, is on the rough side but the normal guy who does my nails is good and the pricing is great. Except today. I wait 20 minutes and noticed it was a new guy, he started removing my nails for a full set THEN tells me the price (in a normal customer I know what I normally pay) and it was 13 more. Wtf??? Then we he finally came to work on me, he tried to use DIRTY instruments on me I had to have him clean them again and he was actually bothered telling me he has been in this business for over 18 yrs and he's just fast n no one sees him clean, lmao-yea ok dude. THEN I asked him to sand my little nail and he said it wasn't part of pedicure that I had to pay extra, never have I experienced this. So he charged me an extra 3.00 for sanding down the pinky to nail. The towels he used are smelly, the health department should come make a visit. Oh n the pedicure was shitty. He did a half ass job.
