Just a OK experience. My wife's food was sent back. My food was fine, as was my daughters. Service good.

Not sure what the fuss is about. Ordered steak teriyaki well done it was anything but. It came out and had that dull grey look of meat that was barely cooked. Also ordered the pan fried angel hair noodles with chicken. One half of the plate had noodles that were dried out while the other half was drenched in the sauce. The chicken that came with it had a strange texture, almost slimy. Lastly, we had the crispy sesame chicken and that was tasty and crispy. While I wasn't impressed at all with the quality of the food, the atmosphere was great with a live acoustic band playing and the bar area is set up well. It could just be my personal preference, but i won't be going back any time soon. read more

I adore this place. The ambiant is amazing, some nights there's really nice live music, the wait staff are all professional and friendly and always recognize me and remember my drink order when I come in, a drink I always get since they're always so well made. The sushi is absolutely amazing and presented so nicely. They have a large menu and I also recommend the udon beef noodles and thai street noodles, both amazing dishes. Just tried the Sichuan beef, and it was actually very good. Moderately spicy and lots of flavor. The menu made it sound like it was just beef and spinach but it had plenty of veggies. The toasted walnuts are a brilliant touch. I'll be ordering here again. read more

The service was slow. The waiter was invisible. The food was slow to arrive. I had garlic chicken. It was the worst I have ever eaten. There were a few scattered slices in a very sweet sauce that overcame the garlic, and overcame the rest of the food. It was on the border of nauseating. No one came and checked on the food or on us. Charging 1.50 for white rice and 2.00 for brown rice is insult to injury. It's like charging for water. My friend had the spicy sizzling shrimp and scallops. The scallops were over cooked. This dish was equally drenched in a nauseating sweet sauce. It was not spicy. I wouldn't even call this Americanized Chinese food. I would call it distasteful. After going here 3 times, this is the last time. A donut would have tasted better. I will never return, and I urge you to think twice or three times before you go. read more

Our family absolutely loves Karma. The staff is always extremely friendly, and we always feel very welcome with our young daughters - ages 2, 4, and 7. The wine and beer list is solid, and there are many good drink choices as well. The food menu is varied, and I've honestly never had a bad meal. Love the spicy edamame, pan fried noodles with chicken, and many of the house specialties. This is definitely one of our favorite places for fun family night's out. read more

Food was very good besides the chicken was severely overcooked to the point where it did not even taste like chicken, it tasted like rubber. I was extremely disappointed in the service. I went out to dinner with my 4 friends and we ordered many appetizers along with entrees. One of these appetizers was supposed to be steamed dumplings, but we received fried. This was no big deal to us as they are basically the same, so nothing was said. Our server than came 10 minutes later and told us she gave the wrong order, we said it was no big deal, but she then offered us an order of steamed dumplings to make up for the mistake. Seeing as she offered, we said yes. She took the remaining 2 fried dumplings and threw them in a dish and took them away. Entrees were brought out and 10 minutes later, the new dumplings came, but by this time, everybody was already full. Our server saw this and made a snarky remark saying "Oh now that I brought you the new ones, youre not even going to eat them?" which made us all very uncomfortable as she wouldnt have even had to do this if she never said anything. The rest of the visit was fine until she asked us before giving checks if we wanted them separated. We asked if she could please do this and we were given an eye roll and "I can try if I can remember". This took 15 minutes to figure out our checks when she had everything already written in her note pad so it should not have been a problem. After a few more rude gestures and comments, she targeted one of us and stared directly in their eyes and said "You know next time you should really say before you eat that you want seperate checks". She was extremely rude and seeing a large group of people, this is a normal question the server knows to ask prior to ordering. The customer can forget and should not be obligated to remember to do this. Keep in mind after reading this that there were 2 other parties sitting in the restaurant...they were not busy at all. We were made to feel uncomfortable and talked down to when all we wanted was to have a relaxing night out. Dont go here. read more

Karma refers to the spiritual principle of cause and effect where intent and actions of an individual (cause) influence the future of that individual (effect). Not sure what I did that was neither good nor bad, but that is how I would describe our dinner from Karma tonight. I am grateful that in the time of a Pandemic there are small restaurants who remain open. I know they are struggling. Many of us who have lost our jobs are also struggling. Spending money on takeout is not something we think twice about under normal circumstances. But we do it now mostly to support the community. Even when it is difficult to justify, when thinking about our finances. To say we were disappointed would be accurate. The Pork Fried Rice was lacking any flavor. The Beef Chow Mein was grey and bland. The Shrimp appetizer was more batter than shrimp. The kids enjoyed the Beef Teriyaki and the Boneless Spare Robs but there was not enough to go around. Peking Raviolis were excellent. Maybe we will try again in the future. read more

Went in for lunch buffet Saturday, 12.99/person. Although variety was not as many as prevailing Chinese buffets, there were good selections including about 10 dishes, sushi, crab legs, desserts and fruits. Foods were served fresh, and taste was good. read more

Tried this place for the first time last week after work. I have to say I'm surprised by some of the reviews. We found the food to be well prepared, fresh, and absolutely delicious!! The noodles with peanut sauce was great and the sushi was outstanding! We all had the ginger martini and LOVED IT! Our waitress, Janelle, was very sweet and kind.....attentive to what we needed and checked back often to see if we needed anything. The ONLY reason I took off a star is because it is pretty expensive....especially the martinis which are about $10.50 a piece. The bill was on the higher end of some sushi places I've been, but I do understand it's Andover and they are catering to an after work crowd. It was VERY packed on a Thursday night at 6 pm.....the bar had no seats including the table area so obviously they are doing something right! The cost didn't deter me that much though....I met other friends the next night for Round 2! Great job guys! read more

We have eaten in the restaurant and done take out. Both were excellent- food was fresh and hot, sushi was great quality too. Thursday throughly Saturday they have live music- nothing that is distracting but it's nice to have some entertainment if you want to go to the bar area after you dine. Glad there is a new Asian fusion restaurant in the area- all the "Chinese food" restaurants have gone down hill around here! Hope they stay consistent and clean!! read more

I've been to Karma a few times now and it have been great every time. I always sit at the bar and always get great service from Jerry, Abel and Harvey. Usually Chinese food places are good at some dishes but not others. If I want lo mein I will go to a different place than if I am craving boneless ribs. Karma isn't the best I've ever had but every dish we tried was solid which is impressive considering that they have a pretty wide range of menu items. We especially loved the gyoza! This is a great place if you have a few different people who can't agree on a spot. There's something for everyone. read more

Let me preface this with ... I eat a lot of Japanese food and sushi. Tried Karma for the first time. Store was very nicely appointed, large and clean. Staff was very attentive. We had a Tiger Eye and salt&pepper calamari as appetizers. Tiger Eye did not come close to resemble a "tiger eye" and was batter dipped, fried and served with spicy soy mayo. (?). Calamari was tender and uber hot (temperature). Heavy batter, fry taste and too salty to eat. For my main course I had the Chirasi which was fresh and plentiful; came with brown rice. Included a piece of Saba (dry) which may not be a preference for a select few. Another member of the party had shrimp tempura. While the tempura batter was lighter than the calamari batter, it was still had the fry taste and was heavy for a tempura batter. My recommendation, if you're eating Japanese, is to go raw. Ask the waitress how food is prepared if you are uncertain if something is going to be fried. read more

This is the first time and last time I will ever come here. The food was disgusting. The chicken was so dry. The salad was gross. The lo main didn't taste right. The manager came over.and I told him it was gross and I'm.not paying for it. The only good thing was the drinks, which we had to send a captain and coke back twice because it was watered down and taste like coke. read more

there is no fusion! this is a 3rd rate chinese restaurant trying to pass for something it is not. With garish decor, braying that passes for live music, over salted and over sauced food and terrible wait staff. My husband and went to Karma to have dinner last Friday evening with some friends and had a wonderful evening. We had been there once before almost a year ago during the week and were very impressed with the ambiance, the food, and the service at that time, and were finally able to make it back with some friends who had never been there before. The food was as delicious and the service as great as it was the first time we were there. The Peking raviolis were delicate and not tough and doughy as they often are in other restaurants, the beef teriyaki was tender and flavorful but not too salty or sweet, and my chicken broccoli entree was excellent-the chicken tender, the broccoli crisp, and the amount of seasoning and the sauce consistency was perfect. My husband's hot and sour soup was not too thick and had just the right amount of vinegar and seasoning. Added to this was the fabulous ambiance and live music-the very talented jazz duo who performed there were a wonderful enhancement to the atmosphere and made the evening that much more enjoyable. I checked out Karma's face book page and there is a very impressive lineup of musicians in addition to the duo we heard, all performing different genres of music. And to top it off, the bathroom was even lovely:) It is refreshing to see a restaurant that is committed to bringing the best of everything to their customers. I hope to be able to dine there again soon and would highly recommend Karma Andover to anyone who enjoys Asian fusion cuisine and appreciates top quality live music. read more

We've visited the Westford location multiple times and decided to check out Andover to change it up. Although we love Westford, tonight's stop in Andover makes me that much more in love with Karma! First, live music on Friday night. Second, delicious drinks and food as always. But third, Janice our waitress was the absolute rockstar of the night. She read us off some of her favorite apps and sushi rolls not on the menu so we took her up on a sushi special. She came over early on and gave us a complimentary sample of the other special she was offering that was so fresh and tasty (cucumber roll with wasabi sauce). Our other sushi rolls were fresh as always. Thanks to Janice and her amazing service we will always remember her and keep an eye out when we go back in hopes we get her as a waitress again! She made us feel like we were her only table even when we see her flying around that restaurant. Love Karma & Janice! read more
